Aaron Carter released Sienna's hand before finally turning his attention to Benjamin's lawyer, seated across the table. The warmth in his expression disappeared almost instantly.
"You cannot pressure my client into signing anything without proper legal representation present," he said firmly. "From this moment onward, any discussion regarding Miss Adams must go through me."
Benjamin's lawyer adjusted his glasses slowly.
"Mr. Powell, this is simply an agreement offered in good faith by my client."
Aaron gave a faint smile that did not reach his eyes.
"Good faith?" he repeated calmly. "Your client attempted to obtain signatures from a detained woman at two in the morning without her legal counsel present. I strongly advise you not to describe this situation as good faith."
The atmosphere inside the room immediately became tense.
Sienna quietly sat there between them, her fingers still gripping the edge of her chair tightly.
