Chapter 16 - A Very Dangerous Dining Hall

The dining hall was nothing like Tahee expected.

It wasn't just… a dining hall.

It was divided.

Clearly.

Different sections.

Different atmospheres.

"…Of course. Even eating is political here."

She stepped inside slowly, eyes scanning the place.

Stars section—bright, lively, full of attention.

CEOs—quiet, controlled.

Doctors—calm and focused.

Mafia—dark, intimidating.

Politicians—elegant… and dangerous.

"…Wow. Even food comes with power ranking."

Her gaze drifted toward the Stars division.

And paused.

Four figures sat there.

Relaxed. Confident.

Naturally drawing attention.

"…Wait."

Her eyes widened slightly.

"…Why do they look like actual celebrities?"

She stared a second longer.

"…That one—dimples. Dangerous."

Silence.

At the table—

One of them paused mid-bite.

Another looked up slowly.

The entire Stars table went still for a second.

Tahee blinked.

"…Why did they react?"

Then—

Like nothing happened—

She turned away.

"…This school really is something else."

She walked toward the food counter.

But instead of the menu—

Her attention shifted.

Two boys stood behind the counter.

Serving staff.

Young.

Clean.

Smiling politely.

Tahee stopped.

"…Wait."

A pause.

"…Why are they cute?"

Silence.

One of the boys froze.

The other dropped a spoon.

Tahee leaned slightly on the counter, casually observing them.

"…This place is dangerous. Even the staff?"

The boys avoided her gaze now.

Clearly flustered.

One of them cleared his throat.

"W-what would you like?"

Tahee blinked slowly.

"…You."

Silence.

Absolute silence.

The boy froze.

Completely.

The other one stared at her in shock.

Tahee tilted her head slightly.

"…Why are they reacting like that?"

A pause.

Then—

Her thoughts continued.

"…Such a pity to let faces like this work here…"

The boys' ears turned red instantly.

"…Maybe I should just take them with me…"

A slow blink.

"…Tie them up in my room and keep them there."

CLANG.

Something fell loudly behind the counter.

One boy nearly lost his balance.

The other turned completely red.

Tahee straightened slightly.

"…Did I say that out loud?"

Before things could get worse—

A presence stepped in.

Cold.

Sharp.

Jungkook.

He stood beside her.

Too close.

His gaze moved past her—

Landing on the two boys.

Dark.

Sharp.

Silent warning.

The boys froze instantly.

Jungkook spoke calmly.

"Order."

Simple.

Cold.

Tahee blinked.

"…Right."

"…Why does he sound annoyed?"

Jungkook didn't look at her.

But his presence—

Said everything.

The boys quickly prepared the food.

No eye contact.

No hesitation.

Tahee crossed her arms lightly.

"…Strange."

Her eyes flickered toward Jungkook.

"…Why does it feel like he just scared them?"

Jungkook remained calm.

Silent.

But his gaze—

Still hadn't softened.
