Chapter 83 - chapter 83 (2/10)

Agung managed to dodge Umi's desperate grab for his phone, spinning around with the grace of a panda who had surprisingly high agility stats. He held the tray of rice high above his head, grinning as Umi practically vibrated with a mix of horror and disbelief.

"And it's not just a one-time thing, Umi-chan!" Agung added, his voice carrying clearly over the sound of the girls scrambling to find their seats. "That **'Love Arrow Shoot'**? It's your signature move! Every single live performance. You stand there, look into the crowd with that 'deadly' seriousness, and *poof*—thousands of fans are clutching their chests like they've been hit by a spiritual sniper."

"No..." Umi whimpered, her hands covering her face. "Please tell me you're joking. Not in the songs too..."

"Oh, definitely in the songs!" Agung replied, setting the rice down on the long table with a satisfying *clack*. "It's practically incorporated into the choreography for few of \mu's songs. You can't escape it. It's part of the brand. In my world, you couldn't walk ten feet at a convention without seeing someone doing the pose and yelling it at the top of their lungs."

Nico let out a cackle that was pure, unadulterated joy. "A signature catchphrase! And here I thought I was the only one with the 'Nico-Nico-Ni' burden! Welcome to the club, Umi! You're just as much of a 'shameless' idol as the rest of us!"

"I am going to have a talk with the 'operator' of that world," Umi muttered into her palms, her ears glowing a brilliant neon pink. "I am going to find her and I am going to have a very long, very stern discussion about 'character archetypes.'"

"Too late for that!" Agung laughed, finally sitting down at the head of the table. He looked out at the seventeen women—his wives, his friends, the mothers of his children—all gathered around a breakfast he had cooked with his own hands.

The steam from the miso soup rose into the morning light, and for a moment, the weight of being a "street-sweeper-turned-billionaire-god" felt light.

"Alright, enough teasing for now," Agung said, his voice warming up. "The 'Panda' has provided. Eat up. We have a long day ahead of us. I have fourteen kids to meet, a few billion dollars to spend on home renovations, and apparently, I need to teach Umi how to shoot a love arrow properly if she's gotten rusty over the last three years."

"AGUNG!"

"Itadakimasu!" Agung yelled over her, digging into his rice with a blissful grin.

The table erupted in a chorus of "Itadakimasu," the sound of clinking chopsticks and laughter filling the room. The "Deadbeat" was gone, replaced by a man who knew their songs, their secrets, and exactly how much love a single potato could hold.
