Bandit Killer
A unique type of Player Killer that has killed numerous players numerous times; however, they are not listed as Bandits themselves. The reasoning for that is that they only go after Bandits alone, and no one else. As long as a Bandit Killer only targets them, then they are considered one themselves. Although the moment they target someone who is not a Bandit, that is when they become one themselves. This is a change that can not be reversed, as this is not something that can be changed.
The reasoning behind that is that not all players are as easy to take down in the game world as they would have been normally in actual reality, not what they have serving as it at the moment. Thus, there can be no accidental deaths that were not ones that happened because they pushed things too far. Even the original duels that happened before everyone who took part in them led to the Player Killer first appearing. They both engaged in a fight far longer and harder than they would have normally, thus the result was what would be expected normally.
While Player Killers, Bandits, and Bandit Killers were unable to enter into any settlements meant for players, regardless of the size. It could be one of the massive starting areas, one of the smaller cities/towns, a village, or even a singular home. If it was there for a player, then they just could not get close to it at all, as there was just no way they could gain access to it normally. This included the facility as well.
As a result of this, they had to treat their own room as their own personal settlement from then on out. That, or just create their own settlement from square one and defend it as well. Players had to do this as well, but what they had to get started was everything they would have needed already there for them to use. The world for players was fully fleshed out; the things they needed were just that they had a man and did everything else from there. Those who had killed a player, regardless of where in The Decagon as a whole, had to instead do both rather than just one of them. They had created the area themselves, then stocked it with whatever they needed.
As a result, the following happened for them:
Player Killers
They would start their own small villages where they would band together and create a space they could call their own outside of their own personal rooms. As this applied to both layers of the game, they were trapped in. There were small villages in the outdoor area of the facility, and the same was true within the game world as well. Though the one within the game was far more detailed and set up than the ones outside. They were able to gain the skills they needed to make their small villages easier within the game world than outside it, after all. The skills and abilities they needed were easier to earn there. While they could not enter into Player settlement, that same was not applied to Players, as they could enter into their agreements without any issue. Though they discovered, for some reason, the trope of a player being allowed to enter into some random stranger's home uninvited. They were able to look around, mess with things, destroy things, and even just straight up steal things from them, too. There was nothing a Player Killer could do to stop them unless they did so by force, though never taking it too far, as they would kill them in the exchange, and they instantly became a Bandit, as a result, on their end. For the Player, they would become a Player Killer themselves. The quickest way to get on their bad side is to be the type that took advantage of the video game trope that now applies to them for some reason.
Bandits
They would not create villages, as they were being hunted by everyone and anyone, and they were basically easy EXP for them. They could be killed by anyone without it changing their status, after all. Thus, they created just camps that can be moved around if they need to, and never stay in one area too long, as that is not what a smart Bandit does. They would create their own camps in places where they intend to stay for a while, and do one of two things while there. The first one being looting, as they would try to acquire whatever they can from that area, be it from just finding it themselves or taking it for themselves via whatever means they can. Nothing was off the table for them at this point, as they were just doing whatever they wanted whenever they wanted. They did not care about the rules, as to them, rules were meant to be broken, thus they were going to do so. The second one is leveling, as Bandits were the type that actually hunted down Players and Player Killers for the EXP, after all. They want to level up to get stronger, as the stronger they were, the less they had to worry about others being able to kill them. That created a cycle, as the stronger they become, the more EXP they have as a result. Though those that made leveling up their thing were under equipped at all times, and the reason for that being is that their bodies could be looted once they were taken out by anyone. Their personal things on their body and the time was free game to everyone and anyone to take. Even the clothes on their back were not excused or off limits; however, they do get a new set every time they can log back in. The only way to prevent it would be for whatever it is to be a literal part of them, but this would lead to other problems down the road.
Bandit Killers
The Player Killers that kill only Bandits did not really have places of their own beyond their own rooms. Thus, they just traveled around from one village of Player Killers to another. They were also always on the move, normally, as hunting Bandits was their thing after all. Though this is because their targets, the Bandits themselves, are always on the move, thus they had to be as well. Also, they could become targets of Bandits if they did not every stay in one place too long, normally, in all but a few cases. Those who have made a big enough name for themselves can avoid this to some degree, as Bandits are the most EXP and loot, after all. There are, however, Bandit Killers that stay within Player Killer villages to serve as their defense, and/or a part of it, as resident Bandit Killers.
