Chapter 27 - U.A.

The hallways were almost empty, which made sense since the school year hadn't started yet and most of the students wouldn't arrive for a few days. Finally, we stopped in front of a door with a sign that said DIRECTOR

"I'm sure this will be a normal conversation."

"It won't."

"Thanks for your honesty."

All Might opened the door and I walked in. The first thing I noticed was that there was a mouse sitting behind the desk, well… technically. Because a regular mouse definitely doesn't wear a suit. And a regular mouse definitely doesn't run the best school for heroes in the world.

"Welcome to U.A., Mephisto." Nezu smiled. The smile made me immediately nervous. It resembled the smile of a man who had just hatched a plan to take over the world.

Next to the wall stood another man, black hair, a tired expression, and the eyes of a man who had long since resigned himself to life. Aizawa.

"Good morning."

„Hm."

That was all.

"He's very talkative," I remarked.

"Yes." Aizawa replied.

...

So this is how it's going to be, great. Nezu meanwhile put his paws under his chin. "I have to admit that I was looking forward to our meeting."

"That doesn't sound reassuring."

All Might laughed again.

"Your results were extraordinary," Nezu continued.

"Thank you."

"And very interesting at the same time."

And here we have it, exactly what I was waiting for.

"Interesting how?"

"Maybe the demon."

"That's not a demon."

"Isn't it?"

"Technically not."

"Ah." Nezu looked as if he was satisfied with my answer, which was even more frightening, Nezu smiled in amusement.

Fortunately, he decided not to question me further... at least for now.

"Anyway," he continued, opening several folders lying on the table. "Since you have been selected as this year's foreign student, you will be assigned to Class 1-A."

Meanwhile, Nezu pulled out several documents and placed them in front of me. "This is basic information about the school. Schedule, dorm rules, security protocols, and contact information."

I looked at the several dozen pages of papers. "Should I read this?"

"Yes."

"Voluntarily?"

"Yes, too."

"That's cruel."

"Welcome to U.A."

I was beginning to understand why the director was considered dangerous.

After a few more minutes, they explained the basic workings of the school to me. How the classes work, the training grounds, the dormitories, the restrictions on using Quirks outside of class, and a few other things.

Finally, Nezu handed me a folded package. "Uniform." After the formalities, Nezu jumped out of his chair. "I think that's all settled."

"Great."

"Aizawo?"

„Hm."

"Show him the dormitory."

Aizawa sighed. "Sure."

A few minutes later we were walking through the school grounds. I had to admit that U.A. was even bigger than I had expected, as everything I had seen in my life. The whole place reminded me of a small town. "It's bigger than I expected."

"That's what everyone says."

"The pack?"

"Then they'll get used to it."

Fascinating conversation. Finally we arrived at the dormitory. A modern multi-story building with large windows and common rooms. Aizawa led me up to the top floor. "Here." He opened the door to a room that was surprisingly spacious. A bed, a desk, a closet, a private bathroom, and a large window overlooking part of the campus, honestly? Quite a luxury for a student

"Any questions?" I looked around. "Can I summon my creatures here?"

Aizawa looked at me. "As long as they don't destroy the building."

"So I can."

"No."

"But you just said—"

"No."

"I understand."

"I doubt it." And with that he left, the door closed, and I was finally alone. I just stood in the middle of the room for a few seconds. Then I put my suitcases on the floor, looked around.

"So I'll live here." It was strange, ten years ago I woke up in a completely different world. A few weeks ago I had fought Kaisel, and now I was finally standing in the U.A. dormitory.

Life was really strange at times.

"Very."

"Are you reading my mind?"

"No."

"Good."

"I've just known you too long."

That was perhaps even worse. The next few days passed surprisingly peacefully. Unpacking, walking around the school, getting to know the campus, reading the documents that Nezu had given me... unfortunately....

And I was slowly getting used to the idea that I would actually be studying here. The school still remained almost empty. Occasionally I would catch a glimpse of the staff

A few days before school started, I realized I was out of food, so I ended up at a nearby supermarket. After twenty minutes, I had a basket full of basic ingredients.

And most importantly, no apples, I had more than enough of those in my inventory. When I went outside, the sun was already slowly sinking towards the horizon.

The city was turning orange and the evening air was pleasantly cool. Instead of going straight to the dormitory, I decided to take a detour, just like that.

And then I reached the shore, the beach was clean and I knew why. I remembered the anime, the trash that had been there before and the person who had cleaned it up. My gaze finally fell on a single figure sitting near the water.

Izuku Midoriya. He sat on the sand and watched the sea. He probably had no idea that in a few days his own story would begin.

I paused for a few seconds. Then I smiled. "So you're here." Of course, he couldn't hear me, nor did I expect him to.

I just adjusted my shopping bag on my shoulder, turned around, and continued back towards the dormitory.

And in a few days...

School starts in a few days.
