-Hospital, Two Days Later
Morning light entered through the hospital windows.
The room was peaceful.
Hyunjin stood beside the hospital bed stretching his shoulder slowly.
The bandages around his torso were still there, but compared to two days ago, he already felt much better.
Far better than Doctor Nari expected.
His adaptation had already healed nearly thirty percent of the internal damage.
His ribs still hurt, but manageable.
His broken arm recovered faster than normal too.
At this point even Hyunjin himself stopped questioning how abnormal his body had become.
Doctor Nari stood near the door holding a medical chart.
Her eyebrows furrowed deeply "You shouldn't be standing like that, it's not good for your body."
Hyunjin ignored her completely.
He opened the locker beside the bed and pulled out clothes.
A dark fiber jacket, white shirt underneath, black pants.
Then, without hesitation he started changing clothes right there.
In front of both Nari and Johan.
Nari's eyes widened instantly "W-Wait!"
She quickly covered part of her face with the clipboard "At least warn people first!"
Meanwhile Johan sat there completely expressionless.
Like nothing unusual was happening.
Hyunjin casually pulled on his shirt while talking "You doctors worry too much."
Nari peeked through her fingers briefly.
Then immediately looked away again seeing the bandages wrapped around his chest "Your body is literally destroyed!"
Hyunjin chuckled.
That made Nari frown harder.
Hyunjin zipped up the black jacket.
Then grabbed his phone and wallet from the table.
As he walked toward the door
Nari suddenly called out to him.
Her voice quieter this time "Hyunjin."
He stopped, then looked back at her.
She hesitated, then finally spoke "Take care of yourself."
A small smile appeared on Hyunjin's face "I'll try."
Nari sighed "That answer sounds unreliable."
Hyunjin laughed, then nodded once before leaving the room.
....
The weather was nice.
People walked through the streets.
Hyunjin walked beside Johan quietly.
Hands in pockets.
Johan glanced toward him briefly "I met Zack."
Hyunjin looked forward calmly "How was it?"
Johan stayed silent for a second "Weird."
"He treated me normally, even though what I did to him."
Hyunjin smiled "That's just how he is."
They continued walking.
Then Johan suddenly asked "How did you become this strong?"
Hyunjin looked upward toward the city skyline.
Then smiled "Training."
"And fighting, again and again."
His eyes narrowed slightly "Until your body starts changing."
Johan listened quietly.
Then asked something unexpected "Can you train me?"
Hyunjin looked at him briefly.
Johan's expression remained calm, but there was clear seriousness behind it.
After fighting Gun and seeing Hyunjin.
Johan realized how much further he still had to go.
Hyunjin smiled "Of course."
Johan's eyes widened.
But before he could say anything..
Hyunjin continued "But not now."
A grin slowly spread across his face "We've got work to do first."
Johan looked at him, then asked "What work?"
Hyunjin's eyes narrowed..
----
-J-High Rooftop.
The wind blew across the rooftop.
Hyunjin sat on the edge seat, tha brought onto the rooftop, hands inside his jacket pockets.
Beside him sat Johan silently.
Across from them
Daniel, Zack, Vasco, Vin Jin, Jace, Jay.
The atmosphere felt heavy.
Because they all knew this wasn't some normal conversation anymore.
Daniel broke the silence first "So what exactly are we doing now?"
Vasco looked at everyone "Destroying the Four Major Crews."
Hearing it directly still felt different.
Zack frowned "That's insane."
Vin scoffed "You say it like it's easy."
Jace sighed "Those crews practically control entire districts.."
"Trying to destroy them without a crew of our own is impossible." Hyunjin said, with arms crossed.
Everyone became quiet again.
Then Hyunjin continued "We need people, reliable people."
His eyes hardened "Because what we're going to face from now on.."
"Won't be normal."
The mood instantly shifted.
Johan looked toward him seriously now.
Then Hyunjin finally decided to tell them.
The real truth.
"some years ago"
"Korea was worse than this."
Everyone listened carefully "After Gapryong Kim's era.."
"His followers began fighting each other."
"Greed."
"Power."
"Money."
"Everyone wanted control."
Johan's expression darkened slightly hearing the name Gapryong.
Hyunjin continued "Eventually those people started recruiting high school students."
"Followers of the Pre-Generation."
"The Fist." That name alone made the atmosphere heavier.
"Those students formed groups called Circles."
"And among those circles."
His eyes narrowed "Monsters appeared."
"Kings."
Daniel asked "Kings?"
Hyunjin nodded "Leaders strong enough to rule entire regions."
"Provinces and entire territories." Everyone's expressions slowly changed.
Hyunjin continued "Some made money through illegal businesses."
"And constantly fought each other for territory."
"A never-ending war."
The rooftop became completely silent.
Because the way Hyunjin described it, It sounded less like gangs, and more like a battlefield.
Vasco clenched his fists.
Then Hyunjin spoke the final name.
The name that changed that generation completely "Until James Lee appeared."
Hyunjin looked toward the sunset "He destroyed the Circles."
"One by one, he defeated the Kings."
"Ended the First Generation."
Silence consumed the rooftop, everyone there imagined it.
An era ruled by violence.
Kings fighting endlessly.
Entire cities under teenage monsters.
And above all of them, one person strong enough to destroy everything.
Daniel exhaled.
"And after that, the Four Major Crews appeared."
What they were stepping into..
Was far bigger than school fights anymore.
