Kobe Gray pulled up the streamer's profile through the system.
Name: Pookiemoné
Age: 19
Affinity: 10/100
Occupation: Game streamer
Height: 166 cm
Weight: 53 kg
He flicked his eyes between the data and the live stream, then gave a small, thoughtful nod…
'So what she shows on camera is real… not exaggerated.'
Then his gaze lingered a moment longer.
'That's… impressive.'
Earlier that day, he'd thought Brianna Monroe, Isabella Sinclair's roommate, already stood out. Now, in comparison Pookiemoné was massive…
'I guess there really are levels to everything', he mused. 'There's always a bigger mountain somewhere.'
The match loaded in.
Kobe's team went with an aggressive, engage-heavy lineup, while Pookiemoné locked in Miss Fortune. The moment the game began, her character strutted down the lane with that signature sway.
Caleb leaned back in his chair, a grin spreading across his face as he peeked at the stream on the side.
"Alright, Kobe, pray for yourself. I'm clearing jungle, then heading bot. Today, I'm personally delivering top-tier care to our streamer."
His tone carried that unmistakable smugness.
Kobe just sighed and shook his head.
'So much for mid-jungle synergy… he's gone already.'
At 1:30, the game officially kicked off.
Kobe focused on last-hitting minions, his fingers moving with practiced ease, while casually chatting over voice.
"What should I call you?"
"BetonKobe, Just call me Pookie," she replied, her voice soft and bright, like sunlight filtering through leaves.
They'd barely settled into rhythm when a startled cry came through the headset.
"Ah! Why is the enemy jungler here already?!"
Kobe's eyes flicked to the minimap.
"He came through your ward. That's a clean pathing, probably a high-rank player.".
But it was already too late. Pookie and her support had pushed too far forward.
From the side, Caleb nearly yelled into the mic, "Don't panic! I'm coming!"
His Lee Sin dashed across the map, vaulting over terrain like a hero rushing to save the day.
Unfortunately, reality didn't quite match the fantasy.
By the time he arrived, the support was already down. Pookie hesitated for just a second, long enough to get caught.
Caleb forced a play, diving in…
…and seconds later, the enemy Ezreal walked away with a clean triple kill.
"My bad… my bad…" Caleb muttered, forcing a laugh.
Pookie replied with nothing but a string of ellipses.
Back in lane, the enemy Ezreal grew bolder by the second. With three kills, he rushed his core item early and began playing aggressively.
"Hey," he typed, "is the ADC a girl?"
Clearly, he'd found the stream.
"You look pretty good. Call me 'husband' and I'll go easy on you."
Pookie's expression darkened slightly.
Before she could respond, Kobe's fingers flew across the keyboard.
"You sure do talk a lot for someone with SDE."
Three question marks popped up instantly.
Kobe added, "Small energy. Figure it out."
There was a brief pause… then Pookie burst into laughter over voice chat.
Ezreal, however, didn't take it well.
"Hmph. Just wait. I'll turn your lane into an ATM."
To his credit, he wasn't just talk.
Within minutes, his gold lead widened. Caleb tried to redeem himself with another gank, but the enemy jungler countered perfectly.
Another triple kill.
"...Don't come back anymore," Pookie typed.
Caleb's face stiffened. He didn't argue.
"Free coaching session!" Ezreal typed arrogantly, practically dripping with smugness.
Pookie ignored him, but the pressure kept mounting. Forced back again and again, she barely scraped by with a sliver of health.
"I'll give you one last chance," Ezreal continued. "Say it. Call me 'husband.'"
Pookie's fingers hovered over the keyboard.
Then…
A flash of gold streaked across the screen.
"Seriously? Attacking while I'm typing?!" she gasped.
Ezreal's ultimate came flying in, a guaranteed kill.
Her Flash was already down.
There was nowhere to go.
Just as she lifted her hands from the keyboard…
A wall of wind surged upward, slicing through the battlefield.
"Face the storm."
Ezreal's ultimate vanished into nothing.
A heartbeat later, Yasuo stepped into view.
"Don't be afraid," Kobe said calmly. "I'm here."
Like a figure descending through the clouds, his character cut into the fight at the perfect moment, turning what should have been a kill into a lifeline.
