Aadhya's POV
Next day
I came to school again… still unsure what exactly was wrong with me.
It wasn't just tiredness. It felt like my mind and body weren't on the same page anymore. Like my brain wanted to think, but my body refused to respond.
I was sitting on my chair quietly when Nikansh came and sat beside me again. Just like yesterday, he took my hand in his and started massaging it gently. I didn't stop him.
It actually helped.
"Why are you so quiet?" he asked softly.
I shook my head. "Nothing… I'm just tired."
Same answer. Safe answer. Because even I don't know the answer to it.
He stopped for a moment and looked at me, more seriously this time. "You know you can tell me."
I forced a small smile. I don't why but a big part of my heart still refuse to say anything. I didn't even know what to say. What if he thinks I m crazy.
Suddenly, Mr. Trivedi walked in—and right behind him… Vivaan.
Late. As usual.
Is he the teacher or the student?
He walked in like nothing mattered, but his eyes… they were on me. The whole time. Until he reached his seat behind me.
What the hell is he staring at?
Honestly… he's changed a little after that incident.
He doesn't fight with me like before. No sharp comments. No unnecessary arguments. Instead, he's… quieter. More aware. Even makes sure I don't go alone.
And weirdly…
I kind of miss the old him.
The irritating one.
Nikansh went back to his seat, and classes started.
And ended.
With me not learning anything at all.
It felt like my brain just refused to work.
Suddenly, Vivaan came near my desk.
"Follow me," he said.
And walked out.
Huh?
Just like that?
I didn't even question it. I just followed him.
We went upstairs, where it was quieter. He stopped near a locked room.
I walked up to him. "You need something?" I asked.
Instead of answering, he unlocked the door and motioned me inside.
I hesitated for a second… but went in anyway.
He followed immediately and closed the door behind us.
"Hey, are you messing with me again?" I snapped lightly.
But then—
He turned on the lights.
I looked around.
And froze.
There was a sofa. Benches. Trophies neatly arranged. And a wall…
A wall filled with photos.
I slowly walked closer, my eyes scanning the faces.
"Who are all these people?" I asked, still looking at the wall.
"Previous Section E. From 1996 ttil persent" he said.
I blinked.
That many?
I started looking closely. Some faces looked familiar… some didn't. Then I spotted Avi and others in recent ones.
They looked so funny.
A small smile crept onto my face without me realizing.
Then my eyes moved again.
Vivaan.
Only one photo.
And Yuvika was in it too.
I frowned slightly and looked at the others. That picture was annoying to look at.
"Why are there so many photos?" I asked.
"We didn't know about this place earlier. Found it after shifting here… so we joined," he said casually, leaning against the bench.
I kept looking… and then—
"Huh?! That's Amar bhaiyya!"
I pointed excitedly at a photo.
He looked younger… with a bandage and that same confident expression.
"Oh right… I forgot he was from Section E too," I said.
Vivaan nodded. "Not just a student. He was the best president Section E ever had."
"Really?" I turned to him, surprised. "Was he that scary?"
"Half the town knows him," he replied.
Damn.
I didn't know that at all.
I kept looking at the wall, smiling without realizing it. Some of the faces felt strangely familiar… like I had seen them somewhere in childhood.
Then suddenly—
"Now… you're smiling."
I turned to Vivaan.
He was looking straight at me.
"You look stupid," he added.
I blinked.
Seriously?
I was actually happy for once.
"You really have to ruin everything, don't you?" I muttered.
But still…
"Can I also put my picture here someday?" I asked.
He shrugged slightly. "Yeah. Just tell me when so I'll give you the key."
I smiled a little.
That felt… nice.
We stepped out, and I waited while he locked the door.
"Thank you," I said.
"Hm?" he glanced at me.
"For showing me this."
He clicked his tongue and started walking down.
Of course.
Can't even accept a thank you properly.
What an Asshole.
I followed him back to class…
When we walked back to the room, everyone was standing in front of us… with their backs facing us.
And what's worse—
their shirts were off.
Only in their undershirts.
I blinked.
What the hell?
I looked at Vivaan, confused, but even he seemed clueless for once. Suddenly—
music started.
Wait…
I know this song—
Huh?!
Avi and Dj suddenly turned around, holding a duster like it was a mic.
🎶 Jhatka jara sa mehsoos hua hai... life ki gaadi ne kaske mara break... 🎶
And others followed their moves.
Damn.
That was unexpected.
Then he passed the "mic"—I mean duster—to Samar.
🎶 Ho raha hai kyun confuse mere dil... mashwara mera tu aasman se dekh... 🎶
He danced, and others followed his steps.
God—
I was trying so hard not to laugh.
🎶 Yehi umar hai karle galti se mistake… 4x 🎶
Hahahaha—
I was clearly enjoying this performance.
Then he passed the mic to Avi.
🎶 Chal muscle phulana... thodi body banana... tere chikne gaalon pe stubble si phasal ugana... arey rey ae chal beta shuru ho ja...
Guru bagal uthake thoda deo lagana kisi bagal wali ko mard wali khushbu sunanghana... chal uper ke do button dheele kare balloon wala seena dikhana... baalon wala seena dikhana… 🎶
He sang and moved like he was completely carried away.
I was smiling.
These idiots are actually great dancers.
Okay… maybe not all of them.
But still.
Even when they weren't in sync—it was fun.
I glanced at Vivaan.
He was trying to control his laugh too, his hand covering his mouth.
Then Nikansh took the "mic" and looked straight at me.
🎶 Barson talak tuu cycle pe ghuma hai...
Highway pe motorcycle bhaga ke dekh... 🎶
I was vibing along with the song now.
Then suddenly—
Vivaan grabbed the mic from Nikansh.
And—
he removed his shirt.
Damn.
I could feel my cheeks and ears burning instantly.
He looked straight at me.
And started singing—
🎶 Speed me tujhe agar sardi lage toh...
Seat ke piche ladki bithake dekhh... 🎶 😳
Then he spun around, dancing, copying Ranbir Kapoor's steps like he owned the place.
Before I could even react—
Avi pulled me into the middle.
"What the—!"
And suddenly—
I was dancing with them.
Laughing.
Smiling.
Actually… happy.
I looked at Vivaan he was busy dancing with his equally abnormal friends Best president for me he was here dancing with his fellow snakes..😄
