What is Tahajjud?
Tahajjud is a special ( nafl) prayer performed late at night after sleeping. It is one of the most beloved prayers to Allha.
Even though it is not obligatory, its reway are very great.
Hadith about Tahajjud
Hadith :1
The prophet (peace be upon him) said :
"The best prayer after the obligatory prayers is the night prayer."
(Sahih Muslim)
Hadith :2
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
"Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven in the last third of every night and says :
Who is calling upon Me so I may answer him? Who is asking Me so I may forgive him?"
( Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)
Hadith:3
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said :
" Pray the night prayer, because it was the habit of the righteous before you. It brings you closer to Allha, removes sins, and prevents wrongdoing."
