Morray gets up; he then rushes outside and shouts for assistance.
Two guards immediately rush to the Geithner's bedroom. Morray's vision turns blurry; his hand slips from the door handle; suddenly, his legs give out; Morray falls down and loses.
Morray is then taken to the clinic; White and Marcus arrive at Geithner's bedroom.
The Royal Guard searches the room for anything that can lead back to the man who broke in
White walks toward Geithner and sits down next to Geithner.
White: What happened last night, brother?
Geithner: I do not know. The man just came and went.
White: Did he say anything?
Geithner: Hmmm, He doesn't say much;
Marcus eye widen,
Marcus: What?
White turned his gaze toward Marcus, then looked back at Geithner.
White: Brother, did he mention anything else?
Geithner: No, he is quiet as he is mysterious.
Marcus froze, body heating; he mumbled.
Marcus: Quiet and mysterious?
Geithner look at Marcus, eyes calm, face relaxed. Then a white grab Geithner arm, geithner turn and looked at White.
White: Whoever he may be, we have to relocate you or tighten the security for your safety
Marcus, lost in his thoughts, looked to the ground, slowly becoming unaware of his surroundings.
Geithner then looked back at Marcus.
Geithner: This man, he is dressed in white, muscular with big arms.
Marcus immediately snapped back and looked at Geithner. make take a step forward
Marcus: He is dressed in white?
Geithner grabs his blanket and lifts it up. and shows everyone the crystal that froze his finger.
White then immediately orders the Royal Guard to collect the crystal.
White: Is your finger injured?
Geithner: No, after his left. The crystal just let go of my finger.
White then told the guard to run for the doctor. Then White called another guard to inform Lord Vess to increase security around Geithner's bedroom.
After this, as everyone was leaving, Geithner then called Marcus to wait,
Marcus then stopped; he walked toward Geithner as everyone left.
Geithner: I didn't want to talk infront of everyone, but Marcus, be honest with me: who is this man?
Marcus paused, eyes avoiding Geithner, then looked back at him again. He responded
Marcus: I do not know, brother
Geithner: He mentioned your name; however, when I asked him how he knew you, he did not respond.
Marcus: My first experience with him is also similiar, it almost like he had too much on his mind or nothing at all in his mind
Geithner: What do you think of him?
Marcus pauses,
Marcus: All that I can see now is, at least he doesn't seem to have any kind of ill intention.
Geithner: Hmmmm…..
Marcus: However, the fact that he came to visit you unannounced it give me more questions than answers.
Geithner: Whatever his purpose is. I believe he wants something.
Marcus: I also believe the same thing, brother.
On the other side of the palace, Lord Vess arrives at White's office.
Lord Vess walks in; he knocks on the door.
Lord Vess: I am here as you call My lord.
Lord White: Enter
Lord Vess: I have rushed here as fast as I could, as I was informed this is urgent
Lord White: I want you to assign a group of magic specialists.
White reached out to the table next to him; he grabbed a small glass within, made of crystal.
Lord White: Here is the crystal I got from my brother Geithner; identify what kind of magic is capable of creating this.
Lord Vess picked up the small glass; a shining ray from the window then hit the glass, and a rainbow-like effect formed around the crystal.
Lord Vess: What is this? I've seen crystallized magic before, but this is different,
Lord White: Yes. It's almost otherworldly; this strange and tiny unsettling feeling around it is the only evidence we have to link it to its user.
Lord Vess: Understood, my lord. But identifying its user will be difficult.
Lord White: I have already contacted the Head of the House of Information; they will contact you to work on this investigation.
Lord Vess: Understood, my Lord.
Meanwhile,
Marcus is outside of the Palace. He stands, then takes a step forward, then pauses. Marcus looks around. He then walks back into the Palace. He takes long strides, arms waving vigorously, and slams the ground intensely with his foot.
Marcus then puase; he turns around, then keeps on walking. Then Marcus arrives at his Horse; he gets on the horse and rides the horse.
He rides his horse from the capital to the place where Liatart is.
Marcus enters the forest. As he rides his horse deep into the forest, he sees an abandoned house,
Marcus then gets off his horse and walks around.
He then looks to his right; multiple logs surround the hot coals, then on the corner of his eyes, a man is walking toward it.
Marcus walks toward him.
Liatart walks to the logs and sits down,
Marcus walks toward him.
Liatart looks at him.
Liatart: Sat down,
Marcus then cut Liatart off. Voice raised, heavy tone, fist clenching.
Marcus: What do you want exactly,
Liatart looked at Marcus, then his gaze adjusted; he grabbed the wooden and threw it into the fire.
Marcus: Answer me,
Liatart just sat there staring at the fire.
Marcus then drew his sword and threatened Liatart.
Liatart ignored the sword in front of his face.
Marcus: Answer me. I can rest easy knowing that someone is walking to try to do something I can't trust
Liatart looked at Marcus, eye tire, hand on his knee as he sat down, and his relaxed face.
Marcus stared at Liatart, heavy breaths as he held the sword.
Marcus: Say something. I'll cut you down if you keep this up.
Liatart: It about King Juvian.
Marcus: What?
Marcus: What does Juvian have to do with this? And why are you even
Liatart: I ask you about home a few times, and your answer is always something either about peace or a good rest. But I my are the opposite of that. You can say instead of a home like yours. It's just another dying place.
Marcus confuse,
Marcus: Huhh..
Liatart: Look around you. Do you see a river?
Marcus: What are you talking about? You sometimes talk about things that sound so stupid.
Liatart: That becuase it is. is stupid and ridiculous to others, but it's my life. You can't see a river, but I can feel one; you can feel the wind, but I felt like disappearing.
Marcus: Where are you from anyway then?
Liatart: From a place that is not here and much worse.
Marcus: Then you are?
Liatart: My life experience teaches me something. So I wanted to show you.
Marcus: Then what is that?
Liatart: I don't know how to explain it. But my action can do the talking.
Marcus: I don't know what I should do. If only I could end this.
Liatart: Even if you try to do anything with that sword, it will break the moment it touches me.
Marcus: You don't need to tell me that. Even with this distance, I can feel my magic is reacting to you. I never felt anything like this before because I never met anyone as powerful as you.
Liatart: So you realize.
Marcus clenched his fist, eyes narrow, and looked Liatart in the eyes
Marcus: Look, I am a son of a king. I am educated enough to know how magic works.
Liatart: So, what are you going to do next?
Marcus dropped his sword and put it back to the sheet,
Liatart: Are you leaving?
Marcus: It's just too much right now; I need some time.
Marcus then walked toward his horse, Liatart watching as Marcus got on his horse and left,
Liatart then looked at the fire,
Liatart: Quiet, yet at least,
Liatart Puase, then he remembered
In his old world, Liatart can still remember,
a massive wall; it was dry as the dust fell off it bit by bit; the sky rained ash. Liatart's body merged with the dry, decaying wall; only his dry eye could still feel pain.
He turned his gaze to the ground, a massive bright cover in fog, a long line of people chained together walking toward a giant gate,
Suddenly, an echo of the multiple crawling came from the other side of the wall. As he looked at the foggy sky, suddenly a creature with 7 legs, it feng as long as a human arm, pierced it feng into the wall. Under the creature's feet, the wall bled. Liatart turned his gaze at the creature intensely, then the creature opened its mouth, with its eye growing from it and staring back at him
Then suddenly, he awoke; he looked around with his blurry vision
A shining light suddenly glowed in front of him. As his vision became clear, he saw many gods standing infront of him.
The God Morphan: Greetings, I am the God of the Higher Realm, child of the Father of God, the God of Savior. Our Father has made his decision to forgive your actions and this rebellion; let's make it your lesson.
God Emperor Jarama: Including all the Devoters of the Supreme master, the God Great Teaching, your parents have now come to a decision to forgive your actions. From here onward, you are prohibited from setting foot in the Higher Realm ever again.
Liatart: Look at them,
Liatart: Where will I be going?
God Emperor Jamara: Somewhere, it can erase your present from here.
Liatart: I….
The God Morphan: You were dreaming about that old world of yours. Isn't it? Fear less, as the royal god is currently looking into that part of the existing world right now. We admit it is our part that caused that part of existence to rot itself that deep; our religion is meant to create great joy and peace, but for some reason they twisted our guidance to fit their horrific ideology.
Liatart: I….. really being forgiven,
Silent, the god looked at him, as their eyes narrowed, and looked at Liatart intensely,
God Emperor Jamara: We have come with a decision to forgive you, and that is all I will say. However, your action has still burn it foot print on this universe.
Liatart looked at him, as tear droping from his eyes. Each second that passed, a sharp pain slammed his chest.
Liatart: I was created by mistake, and now I am living proof of that mistake.
The god stayed silent as they got ready for the ritual.
Liatart: Can I at least have my wish?
God Morphan: Yes, you will get your wish
God Emperor walked toward Liatart; he stood and watched Liatart close his eyes,
Liatart's hand shaking, tearing continue to drop, his clench his teeth intensely, his eye and mouth wrinkled from the force.
His heart raced, breathing rapidly
Then, in a dark vision, the light stopped; Liatart opened his eyes slowly; he immediately saw a fist infront of his face, and punch him with immense force.
Liatart then fall into the massive whirling portal.
God Morphan: Calm yourself, Limis
God Emperor: I thought you only hit him normally, not to punch him into the portal.
God Limis clenched his teeth, his fist grinding as it bled from his nail,
God Limis: You expect me to stay calm.
God Morphan: That is enough. Are you certain, to let him go without granting his wish?
God Emperor: Let him live with that fear, and that guilt will be the prison to trap him with it.
