Instead, I felt her Quirk activate. Unlike before, a sudden change in presence surged up—but before I could fully process it, a clear anomaly occurred.
Toga's overall aura and atmosphere remained the same. But the Force signature I had been sensing from her body had transformed into something far too familiar.
Familiar… or rather, it was exactly the Force I carried with me every day.
"Okay, I'm done!"
And the voice that reached my ears… was my own.
Feeling the strange dissonance of hearing my own voice coming from someone else, I turned around… and there I was.
Another me, dressed in the exact same clothes, with the exact same hairstyle—identical down to the smallest detail. A flawless "Transformation."
That said, there were still differences in posture and facial expressions. Those parts probably couldn't be erased so easily; they were still very much Toga's own personality showing through.
"Amazing… There really is another me standing here…"
"Man, Quirks are seriously terrifying," Anakin muttered.
"There really is a person there—?!"
The transformed Toga pointed straight at Anakin with a shocked expression. It was understandable—she had suddenly become able to see something that had been invisible to her until now.
"Hey there, young lady. I've seen you many times, but this is the first time we've actually faced each other and talked."
"Wooow… Are you a ghost? A ghost-san?"
"W-Well… something like that…"
Toga was incredible. Without the slightest hesitation, she circled around Anakin, trying to poke and touch his body all over. Of course, since he was a spirit, she couldn't actually make contact, but she didn't seem to care in the slightest.
Even Anakin looked a little overwhelmed. It was a rare sight.
"Ahem. I'm Anakin Skywalker."
"Can ghosts drink blood too? Can I try?"
"Of course not! Hey Kotoha, she's your friend—do something!"
"Ah… Toga, he doesn't even have a body, so there's no blood or anything. Give it a rest."
"Aww. I wanted to go chuu chuu on a ghost's blood…"
Toga looked genuinely disappointed.
Just how much did this girl love blood…? I prayed the day wouldn't come when she could no longer be satisfied with just mine…
"Toga, this is Anakin Skywalker. He's my friend… and also my master."
"Oh, is that so? I'm Toga!"
"Yeah… I know. I've seen you hanging around a lot while I was teaching Kotoha how to use a lightsaber."
Anakin let out a sigh that sounded somehow exhausted. Even ghosts could get tired, apparently.
"Anyway. Toga, why don't you try using Kotoha's power?"
"Ehh~"
"…Toga, I'm asking you too. I want to know why the Force suddenly manifested in you."
"Okay!"
"She sure is agreeable when it suits her…" Anakin muttered.
Sorry, Anakin.
And Toga… are you only this obedient with me?
While I was thinking that, Toga reached for her phone, which had been peeking out from the pile of discarded clothes, and began to concentrate.
I could feel the Force starting to move.
