The white-walled hospital room was an alien world to Arisa. Yet, when she looked into the eyes of the man sitting beside her, she felt a strange sense of security, despite the sinister darkness lurking in their depths. Abir Khan tenderly wiped the beads of sweat from her forehead. Aryan had been forcibly removed from the room by the police and Abir's personal guards. Now, they were alone.
"Abir..." Arisa whispered, trying to sit up. "I feel like I have no one but you. But sometimes, faint memories flash in my mind... someone screaming, trying to save me. Are those just dreams?"
Abir's jaw tightened, but he quickly masked it with a mesmerizing smile. He took her hand in his. Arisa's body shivered at his touch—she couldn't tell if it was from fear or something else entirely.
"Those are just tricks of the mind, Arisa," Abir said softly. "As long as I am with you, you don't need to hear anyone else's voice or memories. I am your present, I am your future. Those who scared you... I have erased them from this world."
Abir scooped her up into his arms. Startled, Arisa wrapped her arms around his neck. The scent of his expensive cologne mixed with the faint metallic tang of blood on his shirt created a dangerously intoxicating aura.
"Where are we going?" she asked.
"Home," Abir replied. "I don't like you being in this hospital for even another second. I have built a different world for you there—a world with blue skies and no barriers... just you and me."
As Abir walked through the corridor carrying Arisa, the doctors, nurses, and police officers stood aside like stone statues. No one dared to stop him. On the way down, they encountered Aryan again, held back by four massive bodyguards.
"Arisa! Don't believe him!" Aryan screamed in helpless rage. "He's a monster! He will destroy you!"
Arisa buried her face in Abir's chest. To her, this man named Aryan was terrifying. She gripped Abir's shirt tighter.
"Abir... make him stop. I'm scared."
Abir looked at Aryan and let out a demonic chuckle. He leaned in and whispered into Aryan's ear, "Do you see, Mr. Aryan? The one you want to save is seeking refuge in my arms. After today, the girl named Arisa dies, and 'Abir's Arisa' is born."
Abir placed her in his luxury black car. Before starting the engine, he grazed his thumb over her lower lip. Arisa closed her eyes, leaning into the touch. She didn't realize she was entering a gilded cage where only this beast held the key. In Abir Khan's empire, a new chapter began today—where love and obsession had bled into one.
