Chapter 1 - 0: The Thrones

'The dark crow of the Lionhearts'-one of the strongest beings in the history of New Earth. That was the only thing that every living thing in Kroma knew remained undisputed. His power was great and vast, bordering on divinity while being in the confines of a human body.

That was the undisputed truth.

The same one that was shattered by the being standing in front of him.

Their fight tore through the skies. Where the ground once was, only chasms and jagged craters remained. The impact of their fight was felt across the entire planet...

He fell onto one knee, coughing up blood as the last vestiges of his power left him. The fight took too much out of him. He wouldn't be able to fight for much longer.

True grace personified.

Her silver white hair flowed with the wind while her crimson eyes glared down at the broken man beneath her. Her white gown seeming to radiate a divine brilliance unlike anything a mere mortal was meant to gaze upon. She walked on the air as if it was a solid platform.

"Spawn of Prince descent..."

She walked slowly towards him, her hands moving through the air...warping it and making it look as if it was made of linen cloth.

"You have defied my will for long enough. Even now, at your weakest point, you do not submit to the Greater Will."

The man's only reaction was deepened frown.

"You could very well try killing me before getting me to submit to your absurd 'order'."

"That's the thing. Killing you would be far too...wasteful...for a man of your talents"

She held her hand out towards him, a bright red energy collecting at her palm.

"Maybe staying in that realm will make you more compliant."

The man stared at the approaching orb of scarlet energy, bathing him and everything around it in red light.

'To think this is the real power of one of them.'

He closed his eyes as the thing approached.

'I'm sorry, Arthur'
