The universe we find ourselves in is called Decagon Nexus because it has 10 galaxies, each divided into three realms: the realm of mortals, the realm of immortals, and the divine realm.
The Blood Moon Galaxy is part of these galaxies, and the planet Huang is a planet within the mortal expanse of Blood Moon. It serves as a connection point between the Primus Galaxy, which is mainly made up of humans and led by two groups of cultivators—those of Qi and those of Mana.
They have countless sects and kingdoms. Huang is a planet divided into five continents. There is a central area where two kingdoms, Zhenren and Valestrom, are located—one where Qi cultivation is developed and the other where magic and aura usage are paramount.
The four continents are forbidden zones because the climates are unusual or populated by creatures that are ferocious, indomitable, and too powerful for humans.
The kingdom of Zenren has a poor population, the nobles are corrupt, and decision-making power is in the hands of sects that exploit the kingdom's resources. Only nobles and a few members of the population are selected. The non-privileged populations live in poverty, and resources for a worldly life are denied to them because all arable lands are used as hunting and training grounds for the sects. The only reason for the existence of the Zenren kingdom is the presence of national luck, but also because this luck allows the territory a certain prosperity, such as the appearance of rare resources for farmers, which, despite everything, pushes them to tolerate the presence of this kingdom.
However, the kingdom was not so miserable in the past. It was prosperous and was the fundamental power across the entire continent. The sects were created to compensate for the fact that the talent of the population was flourishing, and the race for immortality was launched. But with the increase of power beyond the sovereign authority, the court began to make concessions on territory, and the power among the nobles started to distance itself from the central authority, relying more on the support of the sects. The civilian populations were marginalized, and the territories available to them were poor or subject to living conditions dependent on climatic fluctuations.
The kingdom of Valestrom is surrounded by a great wall. The kingdom is more prosperous, and the mage and knight academies are the only powers connected to the kingdom, but they do not stifle the monarchy because the mages and knights are employed by the court after their training. Between the two kingdoms, there is a third, more open power that exists between them: the Mercenaries Guild. But let's go back to Djoli-Kourou.
Before leaving, Gilgard and Cynthia shared the cultivation methods of their two races. The werewolves have a cultivation method that considers the forging of both physical and mental aspects. The vampires cultivate blood, mana, and the mind. The first forges a physique that perfectly contains great vitality, and in the mind, the concepts of darkness and death. The second refines their blood and has a renewable blood essence, allowing a better understanding of vitality, life, and blood. At Blood Moon, the two dominant races have a complementary relationship but also a natural hatred for each other. Generally, the peak of cultivation can be reached by mastering two of the cultivation paths: soul, body, and essence. The essence is of different natures, and combining these essences requires either an appropriate method or a compatible physique. The essences are mana and qi. Using both is possible; fusion requires recognition of the Heavenly Dao through an annihilative tribulation.
The number and nature of concepts or laws mastered make the difference between individuals of the same level. Concepts, depending on their nature, can be linked either to essence, physique, or mind. An earth law is more easily mastered through essence or physique; a time law, through the soul.
These are the explanations Isaac received from Cynthia after sharing their cultivation methods. They gave him a space ring with resources specific to their cultivation method. Although the two clans know each other's methods, the differences in their races make the methods incompatible with their own races. And in the rare cases where the two races have had offspring, they were never hybrids—either vampire or werewolf, but not both at the same time. Attempts to transplant genes have also failed. Thus, Isaac is the first true hybrid of their clans.
They eventually have to leave because the young one can't become real powerhouse without tempering and they are in a realm with more divine energies than natural energies, those which are simpler for starters in cultivation, which is why even with the age of 19, Calo and 'Victor' are just on the second realm of cultivation which are Bronze Wolf for Calo and the 2nd Circle of hearth blood for Victor.
To improve, they will need to hunt because their cultivation method without killing is incomplete. The body of the wolves needs the killing intent formed by preying on living beings. The vampires learn by having myriad kinds of blood if they are not fed by their conjoint.
Then, with a new set of clothes, Isaac, full of uncertainty, bade farewell to the people who would become his future family.
"You will have a bit of discomfort while traveling, but no worry, that's just a bit of suffering," Gilgard informs, opening a vortex gate, stable enough for low realm peoples to cross without being shredded in nothingness.
The moment they cleared the gate, their feet lost their hold on the world. A sickening weightlessness took over, stripping them of the ability to tell the sky from the stone floor below. Their saving grace was their empty stomachs; the trio went adrift for what felt like a day long and when sleep
The gravity didn't just return; it slammed into them like a physical wall. As the exit of the Vortex Gate spat them out, the three were a blur of tangled limbs and frantic energy.
Isaac hit the soft, damp grass first, his ribs groaning under the impact. He barely had a second to inhale before a smaller, lighter weight crashed directly onto his chest. It was Victor.
Unlike the heavy landing Isaac expected from a fellow male cultivator, this impact felt... different. Victor's body was slender, and as they collided, Isaac felt a startling softness that the stiff, enchanted travel tunic usually hid. In the tumble, Victor's head tucked into the crook of Isaac's neck, and a stray lock of hair—longer and silkier than a soldier's should be—brushed against Isaac's cheek, smelling faintly of hidden lavender.
"Victor, you sure don't seem manly," Isaac started, but the words died in his throat.
Victor's hands were pressed flat against Isaac's shoulders to steady the fall, but their faces were inches apart. Victor's eyes—usually sharp and disciplined—were wide with a flicker of pure, feminine panic. For a heartbeat, the mask of the stoic warrior slipped, revealing a softness that didn't belong to a "man".
Then, the "Vortex Curse" finished its work.
Calo came plummeting down last, landing squarely on Victor's back. The extra weight crushed Victor down flush against Isaac.
"Ouff! Get off, you big dog!" Victor's voice cracked, jumping an octave higher than her usual forced baritone. She was pinned between Calo's heavy frame and Isaac's firm, werewolf-tempered physique.
"I'm trying! the gate won't let go of my leg," Calo grunted, flailing as he tried to find purchase on the grass. In his struggle to stand, he accidentally pushed down harder on Victor's shoulders.
The pressure forced Victor's face right into Isaac's. He could feel her heart hammering against his—not the steady, rhythmic beat of a combatant, but the frantic, erratic pulse of someone terrified of being found out. As she struggled to push Calo off, her tunic shifted, and the binding around her chest tightened visibly. Isaac's eyes widened as the realization hit him like a lightning strike from the Heavenly Dao.
Victor wasn't just a "smaller" comrade.
"Isaac... don't you dare move," Victor hissed, her voice a low, dangerous whisper right in his ear, her face flushing a deep crimson as she realized Isaac had felt the truth.
Isaac laid there, paralyzed. Between the crushing weight of Calo and the lighter of his fellow 'brother?'
After getting of him they started to look around ?
"Where are we?" Isaac asked
Two voices came and said
"We don't know, don't care, and can't stay long under the sun !"
They gave Isaac some bangles
"These are Life space bracelets, as our cultivation his low, our nocturnal species can't stay out long. So good luck Isaac! See you at night!" Calo said before disappearing in the bangle.
"You'd better keep your mouth shut about things that don't concern you," Victor said before disapearing himself.
"AaAhh, What kind of people are you? I am as clueless as you, and just before things turned serious ran away..." Isaac grumbled.
"So where am I? I hope there are no bandits. Better not jinx myself
