[The Lone King.]

I opened the first page of the book.
Half-expected to see words written on it, but for me
it was .. nothing ...?
I turned the page, then another page, but the pages were all blank. There wasn't anything written on them.
"Huh?"
There really aren't any words at all... What kind of book is this?
I turned to Eris.
"Hey Eris, you're not reading this with any kind of context, are you?"
Eris, who had continued her studies, turned her head to me with a somewhat irritated expression.
"What are you talking about?"
I showed her the book, the page I was looking at.
"There's nothing wrong with it."
"Eh? It's all blank, don't you see that?"
"What are you talking about? It's all clear as day!"
She pointed at the page with her index finger as she gave me a strange look, as if I had just attacked her.
"See!"
"I still don't."
Eris took a long look at me, the book, and back at me, with a strange mix of confusion and irritation.
"Are you kidding me right now? The Lone King is a story that starts off in the ruined capital, walking around with the Lone King. It's right here, written in black and white!"
I blinked at her, then looked down at the page once more, only to see pure whiteness instead of words.
"...I really can't see anything."
Eris let out a long sigh as she rubbed her temples in a display of irritation.
"Great. Just great. Another crazy roommate who can't read properly."
She leaned back in her chair with crossed arms as she gave me a long look.
"Maybe it's because you're new here or something. Whatever it is messing with your mind. Who knows."
I shut the book in slow motion as I pondered over what had happened. It was not something normal, in the slightest. There were some items in the game that reacted to certain people, or had certain conditions to obtain them, but I never encountered anything like this before. And now it had appeared in my roommate's possession.
I turned to Eris, who was already going back to her studies but gave me an irritated glance.
This book might be more valuable than it appears to be. Or maybe just another thing that proves I don't belong here.
I put the book on the table between us.
"...Hey Eris. Can I borrow this for a moment?"
She didn't seem to acknowledge my request as she spoke.
"Only if you stop making that idiotic confused face."
"Thanks."
The sound of a clack closed the door behind me.
I slowly stepped as the hallway grew colder against my skin each steps.
"This is bad."
I said, unsure of what's going to happen.
If the system and my knowledge here are useful, how about that issue?
That's the thing.
I can't read the book of this game.
I need to make sure this is not the only one I can't read.
As my footsteps echoed in the hallway, I finally stopped at the hologram sign.
[Labyrinth is now open.]
I reach the door handle and opened the door as the sight of seeing something new that is not existed on the real world.
[LABYRINTH OF AGENDLA]
The smell of the old books lying around these shelves makes the air feel ancient.
"Who are you."
I flinch as the voice echoes throughout the room.
I look around and there was nothing.
Before I even
have to process whose voice was that, the shelf where the books had been lying was now floating.
The mana around the labyrinth becomes more visible.
And at the top of it there was a girl sitting on her broom.
She has pointed ears and violet hair Her eyes gaze toward me as she looks at me.
"Huh. A student?"
Oh! Thank God it was a student. I thought someone barged in!
She thought in relief as she was about to cast a spell on Ronan.
"Ahem." She clears her throat and closed her book she was reading.
"What can i do to help you?"
"Uh..me?"
This is new, is she the so called guardian of the librarian in this game?
"Yes, do you think it am talking about the wind?"
"Uh no."
Damn why do all characters in this game are like this?
"Then speak."
"I am studying about the magic theory..?"
"Magic theory?"
She hovers her broom and slowly towards to Ronan direction.
"Hm, it guess you do need to study a magic theory since the semester has started but give me your studen ID first?"
"O-oh right..!"
Jeez she's making me nervous i mean who can't even stand up of her beauty..!
I slowly reach at a pencil like but it was a made by magic and technology fused together.
She quickly grabs it as it reach my ID towards her.
"Hmm.."
She pressed a botton that a hologram of my face appeard also my information.
"What the you are...!"
