Chapter 46 - Kumogakure’s Scheme, Jiraiya: My Disciple Minato Is Unparalleled

In truth, these sealing scrolls all contained a portion of Uchiha Sora's chakra.

Once activated, they would summon a shadow clone possessing seventy percent of his chakra.

This chakra had been temporarily created using his spiritual power and Innate Qi as raw materials, then converted through a special process.

Each shadow clone could unleash power at the quasi-Kage level.

In most situations, that was more than enough.

Moreover, with his level of spiritual strength, even against true Kage-level opponents, they could hold out for a while.

That alone would be enough time for Mikoto and the others to escape danger.

"Mmm! Thanks, little brother!"

Mikoto and Uchiha Hao quickly accepted the scrolls and expressed their gratitude.

As for Uchiha Senichi, after taking his scroll and inspecting it, he smiled and looked at Sora.

"I get one too? Honestly, with my strength, I probably won't need it."

After all, he was already a Kage-level combatant.

And not a weak one at that.

Not to mention, he was still steadily growing stronger every day.

To put it bluntly—

If he truly wanted to escape, there weren't many people in the ninja world who could stop him.

Before Sora could respond, Mikoto shot her husband a sharp look and scolded him:

"You talk too much! This is your son's goodwill—just accept it!"

"What do you mean 'you think'? Are you that strong?"

Senichi immediately regretted opening his mouth.

Why did he have to say anything?

"Alright, alright! I'll take it!"

He quickly raised his hands in surrender.

Meanwhile—

Inside the Raikage's office in Kumogakure—

The Third Raikage glanced at the intelligence report in his hand and raised an eyebrow.

"Dodai, is this information confirmed? The Third Kazekage has really gone missing? And Sunagakure is preparing for war with Konoha?"

Dodai nodded immediately.

"It's basically confirmed. I suspect the Third Kazekage may already be dead due to unknown causes."

"According to our spies within Sunagakure, it's unlikely that Konoha was responsible."

"This looks more like an internal incident."

"However, based on their current movements, Sunagakure clearly intends to shift the blame onto Konoha."

"They'll likely declare war soon to redirect internal and external pressure, preventing other villages from exploiting the situation."

"The fact that we obtained such detailed intelligence is pure luck—the spy got fortunate."

"Raikage-sama, we might be able to take advantage of this opportunity."

Such a perfect chance—

It would be a waste not to benefit from it.

The Third Raikage narrowed his eyes and asked:

"The Two-Tails Jinchūriki… we still haven't found a suitable candidate, correct?"

Dodai paused briefly, then immediately understood.

"That's right. We haven't found a suitable host yet. Not just anyone can withstand a Tailed Beast."

The Raikage nodded.

"I remember Konoha has an Uzumaki orphan, correct? That should be their candidate for the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki."

"Have our spies in Konoha monitor her closely—her daily routine, movement patterns, everything."

"Once Konoha and Sunagakure go to war, send an elite squad to capture her and bring her back."

Kumogakure had always coveted bloodline limits from other villages.

Seizing them by force was nothing new.

Dodai hesitated.

"Raikage-sama… that Uzumaki orphan may already be the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki."

"Uzumaki Mito hasn't appeared for many years."

"Two years ago, Konoha enforced a suspicious internal lockdown. Our intelligence division suspects that Mito transferred the Nine-Tails to the orphan before passing away."

"If that's true, then she is the current Nine-Tails Jinchūriki."

"She would definitely be heavily guarded by elite Anbu. This won't be easy."

Capturing a backup candidate was one thing—

But kidnapping a full-fledged Nine-Tails Jinchūriki was an entirely different matter.

However, the Third Raikage's expression lit up instead.

"Wouldn't that be even better?"

"If she really is the Nine-Tails Jinchūriki, then bringing her back means we gain another Nine-Tails."

"And Konoha loses one of its greatest deterrents."

"At that point, with a little manipulation, the other major villages will surely seize the opportunity to attack Konoha and the Land of Fire together, carving them up."

"If Uzumaki Mito were still alive, I'd have to be cautious—she was formidable."

"But if she's gone, a mere immature Jinchūriki is nothing to worry about."

"And didn't you just say Sunagakure is preparing for war?"

"Konoha won't have the capacity to deal with us at the same time."

"Additionally, once war begins, their internal defenses will inevitably weaken. That's our chance."

Despite his rugged, brute-like appearance—

Those who knew the truth understood that the Third Raikage was anything but simple.

In terms of strategy and scheming, he was no less capable than Ōnoki.

Underestimating him would come at a heavy price.

Dodai nodded.

"Understood. Raikage-sama is wise."

"Then we'll proceed with this plan."

"Mm."

The Third Raikage gave a short nod.

"I'll leave it to you."

Meanwhile, in Konoha—

Inside a private room at the Uchiha restaurant—

Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru had gathered once again for a rare drinking session.

"So, Jiraiya—"

Tsunade took a sip of her drink and smirked proudly.

"Haven't you always been bragging about how amazing your disciple Minato Namikaze is?"

"Well, I've seen enough. He's nothing special."

"Compared to my disciple, Uchiha Sora, he's not even on the same level. Hmph!"

She finally felt like she had regained some pride.

"Tch!"

Jiraiya snorted dismissively.

"I've already heard about him since I came back to the village."

"He's got quite the reputation—but who knows how much of that is real?"

"No matter how talented he is, he's still just a three- or four-year-old kid. How strong could he really be?"

"I don't believe those rumors."

His disciple Minato was unmatched.

How could he lose to a mere Uchiha brat?

This had to be Tsunade exaggerating.

"Hah?!"

Tsunade slammed her cup down, clearly annoyed.

"What kind of excuse is that?"

"Right now, everyone in the Konoha hospital knows that Sora mastered all my medical ninjutsu in just three months. His medical skill is already no worse than mine!"

"Are you seriously pretending not to hear that?"

"Jiraiya, I didn't expect you to be this kind of person—can't even accept losing. Tch… I'm disappointed in you!"

Seeing that Jiraiya remained unconvinced, Tsunade pointed at Orochimaru, who was watching the show.

"If you don't believe me, at least believe Orochimaru!"

"He wouldn't lie about something like this."

"Go on—ask him if my Sora is really that amazing!"

Jiraiya immediately turned his attention toward Orochimaru.
