Chapter 5 - Chapter 5- Revenge Quest

Two hours passed.

Three lectures came and went, but for Jison, not a single word from the teachers had registered.

Every second felt stretched.

Every minute heavier than the last.

And now—

It was lunch break.

Chairs scraped against the floor as students stood up, stretching, chatting, laughing as they began heading toward the cafeteria.

Normal.

Casual.

Like nothing was about to happen.

But not everyone left.

Some students stayed behind.

Watching.

Waiting.

Eyes drifting again and again toward one particular desk.

Jison's desk.

The atmosphere in the classroom turned tense.

Anticipation hung in the air like a thick fog.

Then—

Min-jun stood up.

The faint sound of his chair sliding back echoed louder than it should have.

Jison's body stiffened instantly.

Min-jun slipped his hands into his pockets and began walking forward—slow, relaxed, like he had all the time in the world.

Behind him—

Lee Ji-hoon followed.

A faint smirk already on his face.

Step.

Step.

Step.

They stopped right beside Jison's desk.

Jison and Woo-jin sat there, heads slightly lowered, eyes fixed on the desk as if avoiding eye contact could somehow make them invisible.

Jison's hands clenched tightly against his pants.

A bead of sweat rolled down from his chin, landing on the back of his hand.

His breathing was shallow.

Unsteady.

Then—

BANG.

Min-jun slammed his fist down on the desk.

The sound echoed sharply across the classroom.

Jison flinched.

Woo-jin tensed.

Min-jun leaned slightly forward, his lips curling into a cruel smile.

"Both of you," he said, his voice low but filled with authority, "follow me to the restroom."

A chill ran through the room.

Immediately, whispers broke out.

"Look… he's taking them to the restroom…"

"Yeah… he's gonna beat them there for sure…"

"Fuck… he's scary…"

"Why do they always get bullied by him?"

"They must've pissed him off…"

The murmurs spread, but no one stepped in.

No one stopped him.

No one ever did.

Min-jun turned without waiting for a response and walked out of the classroom.

Ji-hoon followed, glancing back once with a mocking grin.

Jison's body felt heavy.

Like something was pulling him down.

But he still stood up.

Slowly.

Beside him, Woo-jin did the same.

Neither of them spoke.

They just followed.

Out of the classroom.

Into the corridor.

The hallway was quieter now, most students already gone.

Their footsteps echoed faintly as they walked behind Min-jun.

Jison's eyes stayed fixed on his back.

His throat felt dry.

He's going to kill me this time…

The thought repeated in his head like a broken record.

Yesterday… I got knocked out with just one punch…

His fingers trembled slightly at his sides.

This time… it'll be worse…

His breathing became uneven.

Fuck…

His gaze drifted toward the corridor window.

Outside, the sky was bright.

Normal.

Peaceful.

So fucking normal.

God… please… just save me…

His vision blurred slightly.

A tear formed in his left eye, clinging there stubbornly as he kept walking.

Because he had no choice.

Because stopping—

Was never an option.

Inside the boys' restroom—

The atmosphere was suffocating.

The faint smell of disinfectant mixed with damp air, and the flickering fluorescent light above only made the space feel colder, harsher.

Min-jun stood in the center.

Hands in his pockets.

Calm.

Like this was routine.

Behind him, Ji-hoon pushed the door shut with a dull click, then turned around slowly, a grin already forming on his face.

Jison and Woo-jin stood near the entrance.

Frozen.

Min-jun's gaze moved between them before settling on Jison.

Sharp.

Unforgiving.

"Where were you yesterday?"

His voice was quiet.

But heavy.

"You didn't come to class."

Jison's head stayed lowered.

He didn't dare look up.

His body trembled slightly as he forced the words out.

"I-I… w-went back… to… to home…"

The moment the sentence left his mouth—

SMACK.

A sharp slap cracked across the room.

Jison's head snapped to the side.

Pain exploded across his face.

"Ugh—!"

The force sent him stumbling backward before he collapsed onto the floor, landing hard on his backside. His palm instinctively pressed against his cheek, trying to ease the burning sensation.

His face throbbed violently.

His cheek turned red almost instantly.

For a moment, the world spun.

Then—

Min-jun's voice cut through it.

"Bastard."

Jison's body flinched.

"Didn't I tell you?"

Min-jun stepped forward slowly.

"You're my slave."

Each word landed like a weight.

"You come before me."

Another step.

"And you bring my lunch from the cafeteria."

Jison didn't respond.

He couldn't.

His lips parted slightly, but no sound came out.

His eyes remained fixed on the floor.

That slap—

It wasn't light.

It was his full strength.

His body still shook from it.

He wanted to scream.

Wanted to shout.

But he didn't.

Because he knew—

If he did—

It would only get worse.

So he stayed silent.

Enduring it.

Like always.

Min-jun didn't stop.

He stepped closer, then suddenly reached down—

Grabbing Jison's hair.

"Ah—!"

Jison gasped as his head was yanked upward.

Pain shot through his scalp as he was forced to look directly at him.

Min-jun's face was close now.

Too close.

A twisted expression stretched across his lips.

"If I come to your house…"

His voice lowered.

Darker.

"I'll enjoy your mother right in front of you…"

His eyes glinted with something disgusting.

"…and your father."

His face leaned even closer.

The smell of his breath hit Jison.

Jison's pupils trembled.

Fear.

Rage.

Humiliation.

All of it mixed together.

Meanwhile—

Ji-hoon had already lost interest in just watching.

He turned toward Woo-jin.

Slow steps.

Casual.

Woo-jin stood there—

But unlike before—

He wasn't trembling.

He wasn't avoiding eye contact.

His eyes were locked onto Jison.

And what was happening to him.

His face—

Was filled with anger.

Real anger.

His veins slightly visible.

His fists clenched at his sides.

Ji-hoon noticed.

And smirked.

He stepped closer and grabbed Woo-jin by the collar, pulling him slightly forward.

"Hey…"

His tone was mocking.

"Are you angry?"

No response.

Woo-jin didn't even look at him.

His eyes remained fixed on Jison.

Ji-hoon's smile twitched.

Annoyance creeping in.

"Oh… what?"

He tilted his head slightly.

"Wanna take revenge like in movies and novels?"

Still—

Nothing.

Woo-jin didn't react.

Didn't even acknowledge him.

That—

Ji-hoon couldn't accept.

His expression darkened instantly.

"…you fucking pig…"

And then—

SMACK.

His hand lashed out, striking Woo-jin across the face.

Again.

SMACK.

And again.

SMACK.

The sound echoed repeatedly in the confined space.

Each slap sharper than the last.

But Woo-jin—

Didn't fight back.

Didn't speak.

Didn't even turn his head away.

He just stood there.

Taking it.

His eyes—

Still fixed on Jison.

Meanwhile, Jison heard it.

Every word.

Every filthy syllable that came out of Min-jun's mouth about his mother.

Something inside him—

Snapped.

His face darkened slowly, the fear that once filled his eyes draining away, replaced by something colder.

Min-jun noticed.

"Hey," he said, his tone sharpening. "Look at my eyes."

But Jison—

Didn't respond.

Didn't move.

Didn't even blink.

Because right in front of him—

The crimson holographic screen had appeared again.

Flickering.

Alive.

Text began to form across it.

Min-jun's grip on his hair tightened.

His irritation rising.

"This bastard…"

He raised his hand, ready to slap him again—

But then—

Something felt off.

From below.

A shift.

A movement.

Before he could process it—

Jison moved.

Fast.

Too fast.

His fist shot upward—

[Uppercut]

CRACK.

The impact was brutal.

Directly under Min-jun's jaw.

His head snapped back violently as his entire body lifted off the ground, thrown backward by the force.

Time seemed to freeze for a split second.

Then—

THUD.

Min-jun slammed onto the floor on his back.

Shock spread across his face.

Complete.

Absolute.

He couldn't even process what had just happened.

Across the room—

Woo-jin and Ji-hoon both froze.

Their eyes wide.

"…what the fuck…?"

Even Ji-hoon forgot to move.

Jison slowly stood upright.

His posture steady.

Unshaken.

His eyes remained fixed on the screen in front of him.

---

[Revenge Quest Started]

[Quest: This Is My Revenge]

[Objective: Defeat Pig Kim Min-jun And His Lackey Lee Ji-hoon]

[Reward: Height Enhancement Potion]

---

Jison stared at it silently.

His expression unreadable.

Even if you didn't give me this quest…

His fingers curled slightly.

I would've fought him anyway.

The thought was calm.

Certain.

Without another glance, he stepped forward—

Walking straight through the floating screen.

It flickered.

Then disappeared behind him.

Step.

Step.

Step.

He moved toward Min-jun, who was still lying on the floor, dazed.

From behind—

"Hey! Bastard, what the fuck do you think you're doi—"

Ji-hoon's voice rang out.

But before he could finish—

A pair of arms locked around him from behind.

"Tch—what the—?!"

Woo-jin.

He had grabbed Ji-hoon tightly, restraining him.

His grip was firm.

Unyielding.

"Jison…" Woo-jin said, his voice low but steady, "…do whatever you want with Min-jun."

His expression was serious.

"I'll handle this shit."

Ji-hoon struggled violently.

"Let go of me, you fat fuck!"

But Woo-jin didn't budge.

Not even an inch.

Meanwhile—

Jison stood in front of Min-jun.

Looking down at him.

As he activated his [Peeking] skill on Min-jun, a system panel flickered into view.

---

Jison narrowed his eyes.

His stats are decent… but for me, this will better to over this quickly.

Meanwhile, Min-jun didn't seem to feel any discomfort—his anger overshadowed everything else. His chest rose and fell rapidly, each breath heavier than the last.

His mind was still trying to catch up.

Then—

BAM.

He slammed his fist against the floor, forcing himself to move.

"You bastard…"

His voice trembled—not with fear.

With rage.

"I'll fucking kill you!"

He pushed himself up, trying to stand.

But the moment he did—

His body wobbled.

Left.

Right.

Unstable.

His vision spun wildly.

What the hell…?

His thoughts scattered.

Just from that weak bastard's punch…?

I can't even stand properly…?

Impossible…

He tried to steady himself.

Tried to regain balance.

But before he could—

Jison moved again.

A step forward.

A shift in stance.

And then—

Another strike.

[Uppercut]

CRACK.

The second hit landed even cleaner than the first.

Right under the jaw.

Min-jun's body lifted again—

Helpless.

Weightless.

As if gravity itself had let go of him for a moment.

And then—

He was sent flying once more.

Slamming hard against the restroom wall, the impact echoing sharply in the restroom. His strength gave out almost instantly—his body trembling before he slowly slid down, leaving faint streaks on the cold tiles. Within seconds, his vision blurred, and everything went dark as he lost consciousness.

Jison slowly turned around, his gaze locking onto Ji-hoon.

For a brief moment, silence filled the air.

Then—

A dull thud echoed.

Ji-hoon collapsed onto the ground, his body going limp. Blood trickled from his nose as he lay there, completely unconscious.

Jison lowered his fist calmly.

It had taken only a single move.

[Uppercut].

Woo-jin's eyes trembled, shock flashing across his face.

What the hell…? Since when did Jison become this strong?!
