At the academy a few girls were giggling over a magazine cover.
"Hoshiko enterprises really don't disappoint" one of the girls, an elf student grinned, intrigued as she read the paperback.
"Agreed, just look at all these stores. I think I'll visit them..." An beast Human cat girl nodded.
I'd asked my workers to mass produce paperbacks to share around the campus. As it turns out, the ladies seem to be hooked, customers have increased by 29%
"I wonder when the premium perfume, lotus evergrace would be out for sale again, I heard it's divine, giving the wearer a scent of grace and elegance...." One of the girls squealed with excitement
"Um actually, I heard lady shiori forced her employees to make those...." A small yet clear voice spoke as The three girls conversation was interrupted.
They rose their heads, only to see amber standing by the classroom door.
"What do you mean?" One of them asked.
"Well...lady shiori has been cruel to me lately... Acting irrationally and being cold towards anyone she finds beneath her...." Amber explained, trembling slightly as if each confession could cost her something.
The girls looked at each other, unsure of what to think with this new information. On one hand lady shiori was an odd girl who spends her time reading novels, on the other hand she's also an enigma who's hard to read. These accusations aren't far-fetched from looking from that perspective....
Amber just watched, her face giving off the vibe of a wary girl finally speaking out, but her eyes held a sought if contempt seeing the doubt of shiori in their eyes.

The morning breeze carried the scent of pine as i stood before a polished mirror, fastening the final clasp of my outfit.
A fitted obsidian-black combat suit hugged my frame, layered with lightweight armor over her shoulders, forearms, and waist.
Deep violet embroidery, shaped like dancing fox flames, traced the edges of my garments, while a hooded cloak with a dark exterior and violet lining rested over my shoulders, swaying silently with every movement.
My long snow-white hair was gathered into a high ponytail with a black ribbon adorned by a small violet crystal, allowing my fox ears to remain uncovered beneath protective black fabric wraps.
At my hip rested twin Fox Fang daggers beside several shadow-black kunai. Fingerless gloves reinforced with silver claw-like guards completed the look, while soft-soled shinobi boots ensured each step was almost completely silent.
The final piece was a white porcelain fox mask, decorated with elegant black cracks and a single violet lens over one eye.
Satisfied with my appearance, I adjusted the cloak around my shoulders and gave a small nod.
"...Practical enough."
I turned around and disappeared into the trees, my cloak melting into the shadows until only the rustling leaves remained.
I stood in the forest, in deep silence as I concentrated on the sounds around me.
Suddenly A leaf fell.
I quickly brought up one of my hands as my knuckles held three silver, poison needles gripped in-between my fingers.
My eyes were serious and cold as I threw them forward with striking force. Each one piercing through the air like a bullet before stabbing the round target board nailed on a far away tree.
"How was that?!" I smiled as I turned to Elliot who stood behind me.
"What I'm I suppose to be looking at exactly?" He blinked
"I'm sharpening my ninja skills, my goal is to be an assassin level Shinobi before the end of the mid term break..." I explained with a determined smile.
I had recently watched spy x family and was awestruck by yor.
"And what's with the outfit?" He gestured to my outfit.
"It's my Ultamia outfit, Shinobi version! Right now I'm testing out it's durability ..." I explained animatedly
"I... see. Well what ever makes you happy." He deadpanned
"I have to say, you skills are quite impressive, for someone claiming to be a beginner...." He pointed out
"You think so?"
"Shiori-sama! We just finished harvesting the crops, and we made some fresh watermelon juice for you and lord Elliot..." A goblin maid spoke, holding a tray of fresh watermelon juice
"Thanks so much. I guess I could take a break, care to join me, Elliot?"
"Sure why not..." He smiled
We sat on a picnic blanket laid on the grass, casually enjoying our ice cold drinks..
"ahhh~ Refreshing~" I moaned in satisfaction
"Don't just moan like that!" Elliot cautioued with flushed cheeks
"But the weather is just right, I think I'll take a nap for a bit..." I flopped onto my back
"Hey don't just fall asleep like that." He sighed
"It's fine. plus I've got you to protect me if anything attacks" I yawned drifting to sleep

Eliot stared at her sleeping form with admiration. She looked so peaceful, the way her chest slightly rose and fell as she slept, her fox ears twitching every now and then, it was actually kinda endearing.
She was everything, pretty face, nice body, high status, high intelligence, a natural leader, but most importantly compassionate.
"How can anyone be this perfect ...?" He questioned, staring at her quietly. Knowing this is a rare moment for the both of them.
He gazed traced down to her parted lips, With a gentle smile he carfully leans down.
Just then she abruptly opened her eyes wide, Elliot jolted back thinking his been cut red headed.
"That's it!" She beamed
"Huh?" He gasped
"Investing in light clothes for the kingdom would be an absolute hit in the summer! " She said excitedly
"What are you even talking about?"
"Oh nevermind" She giggled awkwardly. He sighed

The moment i stepped out of the carriage, the afternoon sunlight caught the soft cream fabric of her outfit, giving me an almost ethereal glow.
I wore a cream knit turtleneck tucked neatly into a flowing violet pleated skirt that swayed gently around my knees with every step.
Draped over my shoulders was a lightweight cream long coat trimmed with delicate violet accents, its silver buttons gleaming faintly in the light.
Cream thigh-high stockings disappeared beneath a pair of elegant violet ankle boots with modest heels that clicked softly against the stone path. A small cream crossbody purse rested against my hip, decorated with a tiny violet fox-tail charm that bounced with each stride.
My snow-white hair, was left loose save for a single side braid tied with a lavender ribbon.
The braid framed my face while my fluffy fox ears peeked proudly through my silky hair, twitching every so often at the sounds of the bustling streets.
I wore a touch of lip balm, Combined with my graceful posture and composed demeanor, the violet-and-cream ensemble gave me the unmistakable presence of a young noblewoman.
Mochiko wore a cute grey vest and a monocle, looking adorable as he flapped his arms around in a excitement.
I met up with jasmine and Felix who seemed please to see me.
"You came" she smiled as Felix nodded in acknowledgement
"Yep, now let's have some fun..." I smiled was walking down the streets for draco city with jasmine and Felix.
"This way! My favorite bookstore is just up ahead!" Jasmine said practically skipping ahead
I noticed heads turned in our direction.
I guess even in basic clothes, people can't keep there eyes off me, or maybe it could be my overall appearance, compared to the demon siblings who have black hair, people with white hair are super rare, especially demi humans, since rare beauties have silver hair, but only one out of fifty could end up with pure white hair color.
Man, Maybe I should start wearing a hat when I go out 🫤
"That place looks interesting" I stared at a sign on a shop selling accessories.
"Really let's take a look then " jasmine smiled, grabbing my arm and lead me inside the shop as Felix silently followed.
We stared at the various styles of hair brouches...
"I think this would look great on you" jasmine said picking up a lotus styled brouch.
"And this would look amazing on you." I picked out a grape styled hairpin
We wore them as was walked out of the store, grinning like kids wearing the latest sneakers.
The whole day afternoon was spent roaming around, buying books, dining at a cute cafe and dotting on mochiko, all while Felix stared at us silently with an unreadable expression....
"Thanks for today, I had a blast" I said as we reached the fountain.
"Same, it was a lovely afternoon. Oh wait there something I forgot to buy!" She gasped
"Ok I'll come with you" she shook her head
"No it's fine, you can just wait here with my brother I promise I won't be long!" She smiled pushing her before forward as she whispered something in his ear before skipping off.
"Jasmine wait!" I called out but she already left .
"Well I guess that's that..." I pouted
"Indeed...." He said .
There was a pause before he spoke again
"thanks for today, I haven't seen jasmine so happy to be going out into town" Felix nodded
"It's no problem, I had a wonderful time " I smiled
Felix opened his mouth as though wanting to speak several times before finally stepping closer.
. I stared at him confused by the approach.
"Shiori listen, both me and my sister are both beyond happy to have met you..."
"Don't worry about it-" I smiled , then he stepped even closer, distinctively I stepped back, my legs bumpimg against the fountain base.
I lost my balance but a hand circled around my waist before I could fall in, as another hand cupped my cheek, their fingers caressing the soft skin of my cheek.
Our faces were mere inches apart with our bodies softly pressed against each other.
I blushed😳 "um, Felix?"
"I know I wish can't make this last forever, but just for this moment, let me be here by your side...." His voice dripped with tenderness yet desperation as he tuck a bit of hair behind my ear.

A few minutes later
Jasmine came back skipping cheerfully while holding a book, only to see shiori collapsed, sitting on the ground with Felix and mochi putting a wet towelet on her forehead
"Um what' happened?" She blinked
"It was the charm of walking seduction, jasmine...." I muttered dazed
"Huh?" Jasmine was confused as ever. Close by, were some girls from my class glaring at me with envy.
"She's not that special, why do they even hangout with her?" One muttered
"Yeah, so what if she's a pretty face!." Another spat
"I bets she's just using them for her own benefit" The third one frown.
I ignored them and tried to focussed on Felix and jasmine, who seemed really worried about me.
the two were soon picked up by their carriage as i headed straight to my dorm to get a few things.
Id finally calmed down enough to walk on my own as I spotted some guys glancing at me as I walked ahead.
Their eyes weren't giving off anything innocent
Seems like I'm being tailed, you guys couldn't be more obvious😒
A familiar figure wearing a black cloak walked passed. We exchange a quick glance and kept on walking
"Later" the guy said as strands of green haired flowed in the wind, belonging to the person in the cloak
I simply nodded as kept walking, ignoring the sounds the the stalkers grunts and being beaten up.
I walked into my dorm only to see someone sitting on the edge of my bed.
"It's been a while, Ryuchi..." I said as I set my bag down
"Hello again, shiori-sama..." He smiled
"What brings you here? Whatever you have to say could have waited till I returned home..."
"its only natural for a servant to seek their master's company. so how's school?"
"Nothing special, same mean bitches and overbearing classmates. Business is running smoothly though, what about you?"
"We're growing steadily, our organization has increased in numbers and is slowly gaining influence and status. Everyone is working hard and the information concerning your brother's whereabouts are still unknown..."
"I see. Man I'm exhausted!" I flopped onto my bed feeling tired from all the shopping.
"You should at least change out of those clothes first" Ryu sighed
"Too tired" I whined
"Your hopeless, a noble woman like yourself shouldn't leave yourself open like this, i could easily take advantage of the situation, you know..." He sat close to me and leans in closer, our face a few inches apart.
"Is that so, you sound like kuroha all of a sudden..." I chuckled
"Is that a yes then?" He said tugging on my hair ribbon playfully
I rolled my eyes, ignoring his request "have you heard from axel yet?"
"Yes he returned last night, his report on his mission are already on your desk in your study back home..." He said getting off the bed and helping me take off my shoes.
"I see, good work then..." I said
"Shiori-sama, I know you must have a lot on your mind but I asked that you trust us more..." He sighed putting the shoes together.
"I already do..." I said patting mochi.
"By the way, kuroha is back home." He suddenly said as he was about to leap off the window
"Really, he's back?!" I asked surprised by the news
"he's been missing you..." Ryu winked before disappearing into the night. I sighed as I got up to change into something comfortable.

I laid in bed, scribbling away in my journal as I heard a soft click at my window. They opened up as someone slipped inside
"Good to see you again, kuroha"
The ravennett smiled greatfully
"Shiori-sama~!" He grinned
"How was your trip?"
"Lovely, I've learnt a variety of dishes to suit your palette, from classic japanese dishes to western ones..." He said proudly yet humble.
"Let's head home together..." I suggested.
He nodded opening a mist portal, I grabbed mochi and we left.

I sat in my study admiring my purchases from the outing while thinking deeply.
According to axel's reports, he was taken down by someone. The person seems to be very strong if they can defeat him so easily. Are they with the cult?
I froze, tensing as I sensed an unknown present. Kuroha and Ryu immediately entered the room
"Why are You guys here?" I queried
"Someone has entered the kingdom undetected, I only briefly Sensed their mana, I believe There heading this way...." Kuro said with a serious face
"This isn't anyone we've encountered with before, you might need some backup...." Ryu said with a similar expression.

we all got ready to fight as we turned to the source of the sound. My eyes widened as a familiar figure was standing near my study table.
Holy shit it's the silver haired guy from my mission with Ciel. [Chapter 37, phantom slayer]
His hair was ivory, flowing past his shoulders as his crimson eyes stared right at me mischievously
So that's how he looks without his mask
"Hello again lady ultimate or should I said lady shiori..." He grinned
Kuro and Ryu tensed up as they got ready to draw their weapons.
"I'm really sorry about what I did to your ninja axel, he was really strong though..." He smiled childishly.

We were all taken off guard by his nonchalant behavior.
"I came to apologize but that's just an excuse I used to come see you" he winked toying with a part of his bangs.

Now we were confused as hell.

Not knowing how to address the situation we sat down. I'd requested for some tea to be served as kuro and Ryu stood beside me.
"Now about my reason for coming, but first you the black haired one, can you please serve some fruit to go with this tea? The cute goblin girl already left..." He said smiling
Kuro glared. "Kuro, please get some fruit.." I ordered crossing my arms at the potential enemy
"As you wish, master..." Kuro said leaving the room.
"So why are you here?"
"No need to be so distant shiori-san~"
"Cut the bullshit and answer my question, just who the hell are you?"
"Oh right I never told you my name, its-"
"Enough with this farce Nox! Aliese, Banshuko" Ryu said cutting the sliver haired man off
"Banshuko? Him?" I asked
"Yes, he's a greater dragon, one of the most powerful and that remains undefeated..." Ryu added.

"Vedora, had being imprisoned for so long dulled your manners? I'm speaking to lady shiori..." Luto glared at the dragon hybrid
"My manners remain unchanged, you won't get a chance to deceive my master and my name isn't vedora anymore, it's Ryuchi!" Ryu shot back
"Yeah yeah," the guy rolled his eyes before smiling sweetly at me.
"Don't worry shiori-san, I would never deceive you. My reasons are genuine" he smiled slyly as he shortened the space between us, but froze in his tracks as Ryu pointed his sword in-between us.
"You've changed, when exactly did you become a man?!" Ryu frowned with disgust

"Oh around three hundred years ago, after being a woman for so long I got bored" he shrugged

"Her engagement it's announced yet so that means She's single, isn't she? What's wrong with me expressing my interest?" He smirked
Kuro set the plate down as a dark aura surrounded him and Ryu...
"You.... bastard...." They growled
"Better say your prayers!..." Ryuchi wielded his sword, ready to fight.
"I'll make you into a gourmet dish...." Kuro added
"Wait! wait! wait! I didn't come here to fight!" He panicked
"Calm down you two " I sighed
"Shiori-sama?!" They was surprised.
"You haven't answered to why you're here" I deadpanned
"Oh, I came because I have a request."
"Which is?"
"Form a contract with me..." He smiled

"Hell naw!" I refuse
"Aw man, and after I brought offerings too.." He whined summoning a sack filled with gold coins

"Welcome to the team!" I said shaking nox's hand with an innocent smile.
"Shiori-sama?! Don't fall into greed!" They were dumbfounded
"Ah, I'm so happy! And don't worry I'll be gentle-"
"Shut it! Your the head of the human guild and your over decades old, meaning you know about every place in the human nation. Surely you could be a great asset to my cause!" I explained
"So I'm just a tool now?" He pouted
"Would you prefer to be dinner?" I rose a brow looking over at kuro.
He shook his head rapidly
"Ok let's Begin!"
One contract ritual later....
I fainted...
