The Armored Bear Bugbears were all defeated, but no exit appeared in the sealed room.
Upon closer inspection, there were still Armored Bear Bugbears that were unconscious but not dead.
It seemed that unless they were properly killed, one couldn't leave this room.
So, during the battle or when they fell, I picked up a fang from one of the fallen Armored Bear Bugbears.
Using that fang, I delivered the final blow to the still-living Armored Bear Bugbears.

Confirmed the defeat of the monsters.
Obtained skill points.

I see, it seems that I can get skill points by delivering the final blow myself.
There were about three Armored Bear Bugbears that were still breathing, so I finished them off one by one.
As I did, a great rumbling echoed, and when I looked, the exit had appeared.
Now, it seems I can finally leave this room.
By the way, I wonder how many skill points I have now.
I was curious, so I brought up the status screen.

Skill Points Held: 16
〈Provocation Level 1〉
Remaining Skill Points Needed for Level Up: 10

For now, it seems I can raise the level of 〈Provocation〉 to 2. However, I'm not quite sure of the benefits of increasing the level of 〈Provocation〉. Well, there's no need to rush, and I can put leveling up on hold.
"Also, I'm getting hungry."
I think to myself while rubbing my stomach. Generally, adventurers bring food when entering a dungeon. However, as I was banished to the depths of the dungeon as punishment, I shouldn't expect to have any food with me.
"I should have a meal in mind considering that I'll be moving further."
I also need to replenish my fluids. It's not like I have no options. Right in front of me is the corpse of a large armored Bugbear. Eating its meat will fill my stomach, and drinking its blood will quench my thirst. I've eaten monster meat before as it's often available in the market, but in my current situation without any means to start a fire, it seems I'll have to eat it raw. Eating it raw is mentally tough, I must say.
"However, it's not like I have a choice but to eat."
With that in mind, I attempt to disassemble the armored Bugbear using its fangs. The meat is too tough, making the process very time-consuming. Nevertheless, I manage to make it a size that can be eaten. Then, I tear into it.
"Ugh."
I taste the blood. It also had a strong animal odor. If only I could use fire, I might have been able to eat something better.
◆
After finishing the meal, I decided to hang some of the disassembled meat on my waist, thinking that there might be an opportunity to eat it later. Then, I took a step outside the room of the treasure chest.
Outside the room, the dungeon's corridors stretched out. Like a maze, several paths branched off, and to be honest, I had no idea which way to go.
"Come to think of it, I wonder where in the dungeon I am…"
All I knew was that I had been sent to the depths.
This is a famous S-rank dungeon, and no one has ever conquered it, so the location of the lowest level is unknown.
"To escape the dungeon, it's better to aim for the entrance rather than the exit, isn't it?"
The further you go towards the exit in the dungeon, the stronger the monsters become. So, heading toward the entrance should increase the chances of survival.
"The problem is, I have no idea which way to go to get closer to the entrance."
Well, I guess I'll just have to move forward haphazardly.
With that in mind, I advanced further into the dungeon.
