"Ahh, ahh," Takeru woke up and rubbed his eyes.
He blinked a couple of times until he saw that he was in a patient's room. The design was basically the same as back on Earth, but this one did not have any technology.
"Where am I? What happened?" Takeru wondered as he sat on the bed.
"You're in a hospital." The dark figure who knocked him unconscious stood in front of him.
"A hospital? Wait, Alika!" Takeru realized and quickly got out of his bed.
He ran past the men at top speed.
"She's at the first ward on the next floor." The man instructed, and Takeru followed the directions.
He ran up the stairs as quickly as he could, and he made it to the first ward.
He barged inside without thinking twice, and his eyes became teary in an instant.
Alika, who was sitting on her bed, turned her face and saw Takeru jumping toward her.
"ALIKAAAAAAA!" He pounced on her.
He rolled his arms around her waist and cried out loud.
"Alika, I.. I thought that you were gone, I'm sorry for killing you, please forgive me." He apologized.
Alika's tears fell to the ground, and she wrapped her arms around him and held him tight.
"It's not your fault Takeru, it's all my fault." They both cried in sorrow.
"Cut it out, you two. Some other fairies are being treated here, you know." The man stood on the door.
He had blonde hair, and a black colored mustache, his right eye was red colored and his left eye was green, he was wearing the same set of clothes the queen was wearing but for men, and on his neck there was a crown and his wings were closed in his back.
"Your majesty, we apologize for all the crying." Alika responded.
"Your majesty? Wait, this guy is the king?" Takeru was shocked. The person standing in front of him looked nothing like a king.
"I know I don't look the part, but yeah, I'm the king. Call me your majesty or King Carter."
Takeru quickly jumped to the ground and bowed his head.
"Your majesty, I killed your wife and a lot of other fairies, I will accept any punishment you give me." He said.
"Killed my wife? Killed other fairies? What are you talking about? I saved all those people, including you, I brought all of you to the hospital." King Carter responded.
"Wait what? So you mean that everybody is safe! Whoa, thank God. Your majesty, I greatly apologize." Takeru felt a sigh of relief escape his lips.
The king grabbed Takeru's hand and lifted him.
"No, you shouldn't apologize, I should apologize for my wife. You were almost executed because of some fake accusations, so please forgive me." The king bowed down to him.
"Your majesty, please don't bow down for me. I am unworthy. Anyways, does that mean I'm innocent?" He asked.
"Yeah, you are."
"That's great." He responded. "But wait, how do you know that I'm innocent?"
"It's because of your attribute, light magic can only be used by those who are the most pure, and also when you went berserk that wasn't you, it was your magic." The King explained.
"I don't follow your majesty." He responded.
"I mean to say that your emotions made your magic run wild and out of control, it's not entirely your fault which is why I decided to pass it as just self-defense."
Takeru made a sigh of relief, until he thought, "Wait this is way too good to be true, I feel like there's a but coming up."
The king smiled and responded with, "You're right, there is a but, the catch is you are only free if you join the fairy knights, I mean you understand that we need all the help we can get."
Takeru walked to the window and opened the curtains, and he simply took a look outside and watched the fairies.
"What if I say no?" He asked.
"Well if you say no you will receive punishment for going rampage with a life in prison." His majesty replied.
"Well I guess I don't have a choice, fine I'll do it." Takeru said as he walked to Alika's bed and sat next to her.
"Good, in the upcoming week I will make you a full fledged knight, you see we normally do things like tests to see if you are suitable, but with the war going on we don't have that luxury, you will be testedby going on a missionafter being made a full fleddged knight, if you don't die then your crime will be forgotten." The king finished explaining and walked away.
"Wait what? Killed? The hell you mean by…????"
Takeru could not finish his sentence as the king said as big "Bye-bye!" And left the room.
"The shit he meant???" Takeru wondered.
"Hahahahaha," Alika cutely laughed, "You'll find out in your mission, but for now you should prepare yourself, because I'm gonna find you somebody who's gonna train you."
'You know, I always wished to have magic back in my world, sometimes I would even meditate for a whole day and still nothing would happen but now I finally have the power from the fairy tales, I finally possess magic.' Takeru thought.
"I'm gonna become really strong so Alika you either keep up, or slip and fall." Takeru responded.
The next day Alika was discharged from the hospital, and she and Takeru made their way to her home.
On their way there were a lot of fairies watching and talking from the shadows, although the king had cleared his name the fairies were still whispering to each other.
"Look at that monster walking around freely."
"Why does he not get punished for going rampage???" They gossiped and whispered, but Takeru didn't let it bother him, he didn't blame them for fearing him.
"Well here we are." Alika said as she pointed out to a nice cabin near the forest and a bit farther away from the other fairies.
They walked inside and it was a seven-room house, one was the kitchen, the other was the bathroom, the third was the dining room, the fourth was the training room, the fifth was Alika's bedroom, the sixth was her parents' room and the seventh was the guest room.
"Mom, Dad I'm back." Alika said as she entered the room.
"Alika are you sure about this??" Takeru asked not sure how her parents were going to react.
"Will you quit worrying, my parents are very nice people and they will welcome you with open arms." She reassured him.
"Oh yeah, you said the same thing about the fairies, and guess what? They tried to kill me." Takeru complained, but then he saw two shadows walking towards them.

Takeru quickly hid behind Alika and sneaked a peek at them.
Alika's parents were two elders at the age of 50 and above, even their wings looked old.
"Alika!!!" They hurried to hug her.
"We missed you, sweetheart," her mom said.
"Yeah we missed you a lot too." Her father said.
As soon as they finished their warm reunion, she introduced Takeru to them.
"Mom, Dad I would like to introduce you to Takeru." She said as she pointed at him.
Alika's parents were not present during the execution so they have no idea about what happened, but they heard rumors.
"Uhmmm Hi," Takeru greeted.
"So the rumors are true," Alika's mother said.
Takeru instantly knew what she was talking about, feeling ashamed he lowered his head.
"Don't worry about it son, the nobles will frame anybody just for entertainment, it seems like they just enjoy seeing an execution." Alika's father said.
"Come here, my boy." Alika's father said as he gave him a hug.
Takeru was instantly frozen, it was the first time in forever he got a hug similar to a father and son hug.
"I was thinking that since he doesn't have a place to stay, can he crash with us for a while?" Alika requested.
"Well as long as he ain't gon go berserk on us, he can stay for as long as he like." Alika's father agreed, and that was the start of Takeru's life at the Fairy kingdom.
