The first royal marriage (Sandersonia x Xu Wenwu)
Xu Wenwu sat straight in front of the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his 1000 years of lifespan. She was even more beautiful than his soon to be wife. Despite being older than her by centuries, Wenwu felt like a child sitting in front of an elder. It was quite a unit experience for him. Xu Wenwu had decided to visit Amazon Lily after Sandersonia's request. And needless to say that he was quite surprised when he learnt that there were other people who had lived over hundreds of years like him. Of course he knew about dark sorcerers and witches who could do that or vampires who could live for a long time, but it was his first meeting with someone like Hancock.
Hancock on the other hand was really impressed with her daughter. Sandersonia had caught a big fish. Considering her longevity, Sandersonia couldn't have found a better life partner. But that's not all. Xu Wenwu was a family man. The guy had willingly left his immortality and his entire Empire behind just to live with a woman. He might have been portrayed as a villain, but he was definitely a family man. That means Hancock could rest assured that the guy was not going to make her girl sad. On top of that, this marriage would also allow Amazon lily to build a good partnership with China. Because at the current moment, Xu Wenwu can be considered as the shadow emperor of China as well as Mongolia. There was no need to explain how powerful or influential he was. And from Hancock's point of view her daughter had not chosen the man as her life partner, not because of all of these powers or influences. And that was a good thing in Hancock's book.
She had to admit that it was the point in her life where her daughter had bested her for good. Hancock could never form a proper family as she could never commit herself to a single man. At least no one like that had appeared yet. While she had given birth to the child of Logan, their relationship did not go past good friends. At the worst they were fuck buddies and had a master-servant relationship. And at the best they were good friends. But that was it. Her lustful nature was actually a curse. And she was learning it the hard way.
That matter aside, Hancock fully supported the marriage of Sandersonia and Wenwu. But she had a small demand from the man who had popped the cherry of her daughter. And Wenwu was not too eager to fulfill that demand.
Hancock, who had been trying to install the culture of marriage into the people of Amazon Lily wanted to promote the marriage of their empress, so that the young generation would also show they are interested in choosing a single life partner and then staying with them. Currently only the wealthy and aristocrats who had a lot of wealth to inherit, marry. And most of the time they marry no more than two wives or husbands to prevent family disputes in the future after they pass away. But the common people and the working class still prefers "let's fuck and never meet again" policy. Apparently it costs them cheaper to pay child support to the government baby care facilities compared to raising them on their own. Hancock wanted to break this trend by promoting marriage to the example of Sandersonia.
But Wenwu didn't want that. Apparently he had too many enemies. And he didn't want to take any risk.
"Mr. Wenwu, if you are worrying about the safety of Sandersonia so much then I guess I will have to allow you to learn some of our secrets before this marriage. I hope that after learning these you will be able to rest assured about this entire safety thing." Hancock told Wenwu while looking at Sandersonia.
"You mean…" Sandersonia's eyes widened in shock.
"Yes… I guess trust should be built both ways." Hancock said with a smile. "Sabra, Tymon, reveal yourselves."
Xu Wenwu had learnt a lot about mutants or meta-humans after building a relationship with Sandersonia. He even met Logan and built a good relationship with him. But he had never met a devil fruit user before.
That's why he was extremely shocked when he saw two behemoths entering the room. Obviously he didn't show it in his face but his heart was running really fast. He had never seen such humanoid creatures before. At first he had thought they were legendary mythical creatures he had learnt about from many books. But then he dismissed the ideas because he couldn't sense any magical powers from them.
"Mr Wenwu, meet Sabra and Tymon, my personal guards and one of the first few volunteers in the devil fruit project." Hancock introduced them to Wenwu.
"Pleasure to meet you, I am Sabra." The Bull-human hybrid stepped forward calmly as he bowed a little.
"Pleasure to meet you, I am Tymon." Next, the rabbit-human hybrid followed.
Seeing them holding normal conversation, Wenwu also treated them like normal people.
"Nice to meet you too, I am Xu Wenwu."
"They are part of the devil fruit program. After years of research, the queen mother had found a unique substance called Mutagen. And after studying the ancient Indian arts of controlled mutation, we have developed technology to change normal human beings into meta-humans. They are the soldiers who had volunteered for the first stage of experimentation in the devil fruit program. We have an entire Army consisting of devil fruit users. You don't have to worry about our safety in Amazon Lily. This is currently one of the safest places in the world." Sandersonia explained with a smile on her face.
"...I see." Wenwu was now really shocked. An entire army of meta humans changed everything.
"Then I agree to your proposal, Queen Mother. We will go with the extravagant wedding plan."
"Thank you for agreeing, you guys enjoy yourselves. I will take my leave."
