"Your Majesty, how could you—" Presley couldn't even finish her sentence before Huxley interjected.
"Take the Queen to her quarters," he ordered the guards standing by the doors.
Gideon watched the scene unfold in absolute shock. Never once in his entire life had his father taken action like this. For years, he had watched Presley get saved from consequences time and time again, while he was left looking like a madman for complaining.
Everyone stood in stunned silence as the King's order was executed.
Once Presley was completely out of sight, Vivian broke the silence, complaining loudly, "Dad, you have never done anything like this before. Mom is innocent. Everything she has ever done has been for the sake of this family."
