After a good night's sleep, the next morning Walter stepped out of the communal tent, stretching and letting out a long yawn.
Today the sky was clear, there was no snowfall, and the wind was not strong, making it suitable for hunting. By the fire pit, the beastmen who stood guard at dawn had put snow in to boil, placing it in a clay pot. The pot was wrapped in thick animal skins, so when everyone woke up, the water inside was still warm.
Walter took some warm water to brush his teeth and wash his face. He felt his head itching slightly, likely having caught lice from the newly taken-in people. Walter did not have Kaelen's excessive cleanliness, so catching lice was not a big deal to him.
Anthony draped a fur cloak over Walter's shoulders, saying: "You stay with everyone today; we will go hunting, and conveniently search the surrounding area to see if there is anyone else. If there is no one else, we will set off back to the tribe tomorrow, the supplies are almost insufficient."
