Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong were not slow; their figures moved quickly through the sunlight, passing the teaching buildings, the playground, and the tree-lined path filled with phoenix trees.
However, by the time they reached the academy's East Gate, a large crowd had already gathered.
Huo Yuhao glanced toward the center of the crowd, where two figures were currently exchanging blows.
The two moved as fast as lightning with fierce Moves; every collision brought a gust of strong wind that made the surrounding leaves rustle.
Huo Yuhao recognized one of them—it was a fourth-year Student from Shrek Academy's Outer Court named Du Wei, a Spirit Ancestor.
His opponent, however, was a young girl who appeared to be thirteen or fourteen years old.
She was tall, but not thin; instead, she gave off a sense of well-proportioned strength. She was stunningly beautiful with sharp features, and her sword-like eyebrows added a heroic air to her, making her look less like a fragile girl and more like a Valkyrie from a battlefield.
Her long golden hair fluttered with her movements, and the tips were a fiery red, like burning flames, making her exceptionally striking in the sunlight.
There were no spirit rings at her feet, and she didn't seem to have performed a Spirit Body Enhancement, yet her movements were incredibly fast—so fast they were a blur.
She shifted her body like a falling leaf, light and airy, dodging a sword strike from Du Wei. The sword light flashed past her side, bringing a gust of wind that blew her long hair, yet it didn't even touch the corner of her clothes.
Then, she threw a punch! That punch was as fast as lightning and as powerful as thunder. The wind from the punch howled, carrying a force like an overwhelming tide, striking directly at Dewey's chest.
Dewey's expression changed instantly; he didn't have time to dodge and could only pull back his longsword Spirit to defend, holding it horizontally in front of him to try and block the punch.
"Boom!!!"
Accompanied by a dull roar, Du Wei's figure was knocked back dozens of meters before he barely managed to stand firm. His feet plowed two deep furrows into the ground, turning up soil and scattering gravel.
He stood there, gasping for breath, his chest heaving violently.
Du Wei felt a sweetness in his throat and couldn't stop a mouthful of blood from spraying out.
The power of that punch just now was simply too strong; although his Spirit had blocked it, it was smashed against his chest, and the force of the punch hit his chest square and true.
That power rampaged through his body, shaking his internal organs until they were churning.
"I lose!" He stood up and looked at his opponent with a complex expression.
As a Shrek Student, losing without even forcing out the opponent's Spirit made him feel ashamed, and a sense of defeat welled up in his heart.
At this moment, many people around looked at the young girl with solemn expressions. Those young faces were filled with shock.
