"There's nowhere else nearby Cantio that I'm allowed to go, so..." Carlisle muttered as he handed his entry certificate to the guard.
I simply shrugged my shoulders. It didn't really matter to me where we were going anyway.
The place Carlisle led me to was none other than the Imperial Library.
‘I thought the study in Blanchet Mansion was sizable, but it pales in comparison to the palace. Speaking of libraries, it reminds me of Aiden. He would have absolutely loved it here. Well, I wonder if he has already visited, given his noble background and all.’
"Lili?"
A soft and affectionate voice whispered in my ear. It could only belong to Aiden, especially since Michael was at the palace as well.
I turned my head slightly, my eyes widening in surprise, and greeted Aiden.
"Hi, Aiden."
‘I never expected to see you here, really.’
"Lili, why are you here...?"
His golden eyes widened with surprise when he spotted Carlisle. It seemed he wasn't pleased by the sight.
