The Hogwarts library is located on the fifth floor of the Castle.
It contains thousands of bookshelves, displaying tens of thousands of books; it is simply a paradise for book lovers and readers.
In the past, the librarian Madam Irma Pince would patrol the library to prevent books from being damaged, mistreated, or defiled.
She would also stop Little wizards from talking, messing around, or ruining the reading environment, maintaining order.
Especially when it came to a boy and a girl, Little wizards, this situation was something that needed special attention.
Madam Pince had noticed Karl and Nina last night; the two of them were turning their wands while flipping through books, their movements perfectly synchronized.
She didn't expect them to return today, so she immediately kept them under close observation.
However, she didn't expect these two Little wizards to have some tricks up their sleeves; even though she could see their lips moving, she couldn't hear a sound when she got close.
"Why does she keep staring at us?"
"Hmm... Maybe she wants to learn how to turn her wand."
Nina glanced at Karl's hair, which had been scratched into a bird's nest, and raised her hand to tap his brow again.
"Can I learn this move?"
Feeling his groggy brain clear up once again, Karl was starting to crave the effects of this skill.
In the afternoon, when Nina went to Transfiguration Class, his efficiency in reading alone was a bit low.
"Unfortunately, this is a secret technique passed down through heritage."
Nina rolled her eyes at him, knowing this guy had ulterior motives.
He said he was accompanying her to read, but in reality, he just wanted her to cast buffs on him.
"What a pity!"
Karl yawned and closed the Charms book in front of him.
After searching for an entire afternoon and evening, he had gone through over a dozen reference books but hadn't found any magic related to sealing.
Let alone specific Charms, he hadn't even found a shred of information or description.
"What exactly are you looking for? Do you need my help?"
Nina remembered that Karl had only read two books last night, both of which were just finding interesting Charms to write down, preparing to practice them or ask a Professor for advice.
But today... someone who didn't know better would think he was just flipping through books for fun!
"I actually do need your help. Um... do you know any information about sealing magic?"
"Sealing? magic?"
Hearing Karl's question, Nina couldn't help but frown.
"It's a Charm to hide, protect, or mainly seal away something dangerous."
After thinking seriously, Nina started counting on her fingers:
"I can only think of some counter-curses, Patronus Charms, protective spells, and concealment spells; there really aren't any sealing Charms."
"For example, the Anti-Apparition Charm to seal off an area, the Patronus Charm to repel certain alien creatures, the protective wards to block external invasions, the Fidelius Charm to protect a specific address, or the Muggle-Repelling Charm to hide a specific area..."
"But these Charms are all targeted at and defensive against the outside. As for the sealing of danger you mentioned... I don't have any impression of it."
After saying this, Nina offered the most reliable method: "Why don't you ask Professor Flitwick or Headmaster Dumbledore?"
Karl nodded in agreement, "That is also my final solution."
"Should we go now?"
"Let's go!"
...
The eighth floor of the Castle, the Ravenclaw Dean's office.
After hearing Karl's question, Professor Flitwick frowned and thought for a while, finally shaking his head helplessly.
"I'm sorry, I cannot answer your question."
Seeing Karl looking a bit disappointed, Professor Flitwick stood up and walked outside, gesturing for Karl and Nina to follow.
"However, please rest assured, child, there are many knowledgeable Professors in the school."
"Let's go, I will take you to seek help from Headmaster Dumbledore. He is the greatest Wizard in the world."
So Karl and Nina followed behind Professor Flitwick, weaving through the corridors on the eighth floor.
"Professor, is the Headmasters Office on the eighth floor?"
"It's hard to say... but at least one of the entrances is on the eighth floor."
"Huh?" × 2
Karl and Nina exchanged confused glances, indicating they didn't understand.
However, he could be certain that there was definitely no bathroom in the Headmasters Office.
"Whether it's the eighth floor or the third floor, you can reach the Headmasters Office, and you have to take the automatically rising spiral staircase."
"I have always suspected that the Castle has a ninth floor or even higher, and the Headmasters Office is located there."
"Of course, this is just my guess; only the Principal knows the truth."
Amidst Professor Flitwick's words, the three of them arrived in front of a huge stone gargoyle in the corridor.
"This is the gargoyle; as long as you say the correct password to it, it will... Hmm?"
Before Dean Flitwick could finish his sentence, the huge stone gargoyle suddenly came to life and jumped aside.
The wall behind it split into two, revealing the slowly moving spiral staircase behind it, as well as the old Wizard standing behind the door.
This was not Karl's first time seeing Albus Dumbledore, but that time was at the opening feast.
From a great distance away, he could only see that his Principal was thin and tall, with long white hair and a white beard.
Now, observing him up close, Karl could clearly see those blue eyes full of wisdom, as well as the crooked nose that was rumored to have been broken at least twice.
"Headmaster Dumbledore."
"Professor Flitwick, and Mr. Orolin and Miss Goldstein, is there anything I can help you with?"
Dumbledore greeted Professor Flitwick and looked gently at Karl and Nina.
"Are you going out?"
"That is the case, but it is not an urgent matter."
Professor Flitwick immediately stated Karl's question, hoping the knowledgeable and wise Principal could provide some guidance.
"I also pondered this question back in the day, and I had some insignificant discoveries."
Dumbledore winked mischievously at Karl, signaling him to look at Nina beside him.
"Sealing Charms did indeed appear in history, but they have been lost for nearly a thousand years."
"If you want to explore this, Miss Goldstein will be of more help to you than I am."
Nina: (⊙_⊙)?
Really? Why didn't I know about this?
Dumbledore just strolled away happily, leaving Karl helpless and Nina confused.
Leaving Professor Flitwick to try and smooth things over, "The Principal is just cultivating your ability to think independently and solve problems; he is not teasing you on purpose..."
Karl: Do you think I believe that?
However, although Dumbledore didn't spoon-feed him the answer, he had at least pointed him in the right direction.
...
"My best friend! It's all up to you!"
On the way to escorting Nina back to the Ravenclaw common room, Karl immediately sent out Fire Treasure to curry favor with her.
"Chi~"
Fire Treasure, trying to make up for its past mistakes, pulled out all the stops to act cute, its adorable appearance making one's heart melt.
"Alright! I know, I promise I will think about this matter even in my dreams."
Nina nuzzled Fire Treasure, then placed it into Karl's hands, waving goodbye at the base of the tower.
The bronze knocker, having been provoked by someone last night, had gone completely mad, posing questions that were more difficult than the last.
The consequence was that many little eagles were blocked outside the common room, and in the end, they had to open the door from the inside to let people in.
So it was better not to let Karl go up.
"Good night~"
"Night~"
Watching Nina go upstairs, Karl returned to the Hufflepuff common room with Fire Treasure on his head.
Just as he was about to learn Wizard's Chess from Cedric, he saw the other looking at him in astonishment, as if looking at a warrior.
"What's wrong?"
"Aren't you going to class?"
"Huh?"
Karl looked around and realized that there wasn't a single first-year student in the common room.
"Oh no! My Astronomy Class!"
