Chapter 24 - Chapter 24: Wesley's Ultimatum The Choices

A moment later, he heard the iron door open. Someone announced, "Respected Mr. Wesley, he is about to wake up."

Hearing this, Hong Fei waited a few dozen seconds. His eyelids fluttered, and his eyes slowly opened. He saw two people standing in front of him. One was a man in a suit and glasses. The person beside him was fawning, his sycophancy obvious.

"Sir, look, he has indeed woken up."

Mr. Wesley adjusted his glasses and waved his hand to dismiss the man. The metal door clanged shut, and Mr. Wesley stepped closer to Hong Fei.

"Hong Fei, Chinese descent, a silly kid in his early twenties. Do you know why you are here?"

Hong Fei shook his head.

Mr. Wesley said, "To be honest, I really don't want to do this kind of thing, especially cleaning up after another damn fool. You should know Hall. You angered him. Young people just love to gain an advantage with their words. You should know by now that doing that really does you no good."

"Now, I will give you three choices. First, sign the contract, and I can pretend that what happened before never occurred. Second, I will let Hall come in and continue negotiating with you; I don't care how he chooses to negotiate. Third, if you insist on refusing, I can only make you disappear, and then use capitalistic methods to take your land back."

Listen to that; this gang was simply lawless.

After Mr. Wesley finished speaking, he wasn't in a hurry. He just paced quietly to the side without looking at Hong Fei again. The quiet environment further highlighted the rather terrifying atmosphere.

A moment later, Hong Fei's voice rang out in the secret room, his tone now extremely calm. "That rookie lawyer is your son? Why do I feel like he isn't?"

Upon hearing this, Mr. Wesley frowned, stepped back quietly, and became instantly vigilant.

"Of course not. However, his father was my teacher. I didn't expect his father to entrust this matter to that loser. Otherwise, we wouldn't need to meet like this."

As Mr. Wesley spoke, he retreated, imperceptibly pressing his body against the wall. Then, he looked at Hong Fei carefully again, "You seem to have nothing to fear?"

Hong Fei looked at Mr. Wesley's hand, which was gradually reaching for the wall, with a smirk, "You seem a bit afraid?"

Mr. Wesley's pupils suddenly contracted. No longer caring about concealment, he slammed his arm toward the button on the side. In an instant, a red glow surged into Hong Fei's pupils. The world before his eyes transformed into black and white, and Mr. Wesley's movements were slowed to an exaggerated degree. His lips pursed slightly, his tongue moved, and an extremely thin silver needle appeared in Hong Fei's mouth. When Hong Fei's gaze touched Mr.

A scarlet cross mark immediately appeared on Wesley's arm. The silver needle shot out instantly, its cold light arriving in a flash, burying itself with extreme precision deep into the Quchi acupoint inside Wesley's elbow. His entire arm went numb instantly, hanging uncontrollably by his side. The red glow faded from Hong Fei's eyes, and Wesley's pained cry rang in his ears. With a surge of strength, Hong Fei violently broke the ropes tied around his body and stood up, walking toward Wesley. A true hunter often appears in the form of prey.

"Now it's my turn to ask you: Is your dear boss, the respected Wilson Fisk, at home?" Hong Fei pinched the hand that had been struck by the silver needle. A thin layer of cold sweat gradually seeped onto Wesley's forehead.

He shook his head and said, "I don't know."

"Mr. James Wesley, you are insulting me." Hong Fei grabbed Wesley's chin, forcing him to look up. "Aren't you Kingpin's most trusted assistant?"

Hearing Hong Fei refer to him as Kingpin, a flash of surprise crossed Wesley's eyes, and then he tightly closed his mouth, refusing to make a sound.

Seeing this, Hong Fei pulled the silver needle from his hand, causing Wesley to grimace in pain instantly. Then, Hong Fei gently removed Wesley's glasses and slowly brought the silver needle toward the other's pupil. Wesley instinctively closed his eyes. The next second, he opened his mouth and screamed, but his head, controlled by Hong Fei's large hand, could not break free. Hong Fei did not hesitate to insert the silver needle into his cheek. This time, he didn't look for any acupoints but violently pierced through the skin and flesh to the bone.

As his fingertips twisted the silver needle, Wesley grimaced in pain, his body trembling uncontrollably. Hong Fei said with a rather helpless look on his face, "I just asked if he was at home. Is it necessary to be this stubborn?"

Wesley still said nothing. Hong Fei sighed while pulling out the silver needle and inserting it again casually. After repeating this several times, long, thin bloodstains had already appeared on Wesley's face. Even though he was in so much pain that he was breaking out in a cold sweat and gasping for air, he remained tight-lipped.

"Fine, you forced me to do this. This is also my first time doing this." After speaking, he violently pried open Wesley's eyes. The silver needle in his fingertips quickly stabbed in diagonally from the inner corner of the eye, and Wesley's tears immediately gushed out. Watching the silver needle, most of which was buried deep in his eye socket with its end trembling slightly, Wesley finally couldn't take it anymore. "He is not! He is not at home!"

"Then where did he go?"

"He went to discuss business and won't be back until tomorrow!"

"If you don't want to become blind, then hold still and don't blink," Hong Fei said, his voice level. "How many people are here?"

"More than thirty."

"Do they have guns?"

"Most of them do."

"Where is the warehouse?"

Mr. Wesley suddenly fell silent. Hong Fei gently pushed the silver needle with his fingertip, and Mr. Wesley immediately shouted in extreme pain, "I know! It's right under this Villa, and there are also the piers in the south and east of the city. That's all I know!"

"Very good." Hong Fei smiled and took out a voice recorder. "I think we have reached a very solid gentleman's agreement, don't you think?"

Mr. Wesley stared at the voice recorder in disbelief, looking at it again and again. Finally, he nodded with a sigh. Hong Fei pulled out the silver needle, turned his fingertips, and the silver needle disappeared. He helped Mr. Wesley stand up.

"I was just clearing your tear ducts. Don't be afraid, hurry up and wipe them; it's time for us to go out."

A moment later, Mr. Wesley, with red eyes, personally sent Hong Fei away from the Villa. Along the way, the two chatted and laughed. Hong Fei deliberately lowered his posture, making it look as if Mr. Wesley had successfully subdued him. By the time he returned home, the morning sun had already risen.

After calling Frank and the others upstairs by phone, Hong Fei said with a gloomy face, "I was kidnapped."

Upon hearing this, the others immediately looked confused.

Hong Fei said irritably, "The reason you can still see me sitting here now is because I was kidnapped, went for a round, and came back by myself! Yet you slept all night and didn't even notice."

Number One, Number Two, and Number Three immediately lowered their heads to apologize. Frank frowned. "Who did it?"

"Of course, Kingpin's subordinates. But Kingpin doesn't know about this, and he doesn't know that I have already turned his assistant."

Hong Fei sighed and held up two fingers. "Two things. First, Number One, you three hurry and find a place big and private enough. We need to move as soon as possible; this house is not suitable for modifications. Second, Frank, where is my cannon?"

Frank said, "The pier, in a container. But are you sure you want to fire a cannon in the city?"

"Otherwise, what? Did I buy it to cuddle while sleeping?"
