The next day I met with john at a famous coffee shop in the downtown known as "Original Beans".
Jhon was pretty excited to the case but on the other hand I was a little bit worried as this will not be a really simple matter.
While I was thinking about how the things would go with us in this case, john's voice interrupted my thoughts saying
We have to go to Lin's house and try to find any suspicious things there.
I looked at him with both of my eyes were focused on him and then I said
You're thinking that you will find obvious evidence in his place after 14 years? What kind of idiots are you?
A James Maxwell one, just think about it with me! The place was sealed for all the past 14 years and no one entered it back then except the police which gives us a good chance to find any fingerprints or blood spots around the place.
I replied immediate on the nonsense he said with
Are you expecting to find trace for a blood spot before 14 years?! How did you get your role as a detective now?
John raised his finger towards me and told me
Bro! just chill! Everything will be alright, we could find anything no matter what small is it..it would be benefit for us.
I nodded my head at what he said then replied at him
I think you're right after all for sorry.
John said: you're jealous because I'm going to be the leader of this team or what?
I laughed then said: this nonsense team can't get any leader, both of us are idiots!
We both laughed then and decided to go to Lin's place after we finish our morning coffee.
After 1 hour we arrived at Lin's house, it was a wooden 3 floors house with a garden at the back of it surrounded with fence that used to be electrified back then.
This going to be a very long journey…hope this ends well. John said it while he was trying to approach the gate of the fence.
Few minutes of walking inside the house, each floor got 3 rooms 2 of them on the right side of the house and the other one on the left side and they're numbered from 1 to 3 in order and the most remarkable thing is the first 2 floors were so normal for a someone's like Lin, just 1 sofa in each of them and a dark red carpet that covers the space under the sofa only.
John stood in the middle of the room number 3 in the second floor and said: am I hallucinating or all the rooms are on the horizontal and vertical level?
When I heard that I went down again to the 1st floor and john was right!
The rooms are built on the same vertical level especially..."not all houses are built like this, right?"
That what I said to john who came after me downstairs.
John said: not at all, but maybe he wanted his house to be like this.
I moved my sight towards him while he stands on the stairs and said: we need to talk to the constructor of this house.
John replied directly to me saying: it was the government who worked on building his house and securing it.
I pointed my finger up and said: the 3rd floor! After that I ran immediately to it and when i arrived at the top stair's I saw only a 1 room in the end of floor and there was 1,2 and 3 on it.
Few seconds I stood there while I'm looking at the room and then john came and asked me: are you crazy? Why did you run like that?!
I said to him while I started moving towards the room: this house architecture is really off…we need to investigate this room, there's something in it of course.
