After Aizawa Shouta left the classroom, the room immediately became chaotic.
Everyone was talking excitedly about the U.A. Sports Festival.
"Uchiha, do you have a hero agency you like?" Eijiro Kirishima asked with admiration.
"The Sports Festival is all about real combat ability. Your performance a few days ago was insane. That hypnosis of yours—taking down so many people at once was blinding!"
"Tch, it's just hypnosis," Katsuki Bakugo scoffed.
"It doesn't knock them out. In the end, fists decide everything."
"That's already impressive!" Kirishima replied.
"Can you make a whole group of enemies lose their fighting ability instantly?"
"Of course I can!" Bakugo shouted confidently.
"Just wait. At the Sports Festival, I'll definitely take first place!"
"…Bakugo is as intense as ever," Ochaco Uraraka said with an awkward smile, trying to ease the tension.
"But seriously," she added as she looked at Izuna, "is there any agency you want to join?"
"I'm curious too," Denki Kaminari chimed in.
"What kind of hero office would you want to work for?"
Behind them, Izuku Midoriya stared at Izuna quietly.
His expression was conflicted.
Worried.
And even slightly afraid.
After all, just a few days earlier, he had personally witnessed Izuna killing more than a dozen criminals without hesitation.
Because of the upcoming Sports Festival, the afternoon classes weren't as intense as usual.
School ended earlier than normal.
However, just as everyone began packing their bags—
A loud commotion suddenly erupted outside the classroom.
Tenya Iida walked to the door and opened it.
Then he froze.
The hallway was completely filled with people.
Judging from their uniforms, they were all students from U.A. High School.
"Why are you looking for Class A?" Iida asked after a moment.
"Reconnaissance," someone replied casually.
At that moment, Bakugo slung his bag over his shoulder and walked toward the door as if the crowd didn't exist.
"You're here to scout your enemies before the Sports Festival starts, right?"
"You people survived the villain attack, after all."
"What a waste of time."
"Move aside, extras."
Bakugo's expression was dark as he stood in front of them.
"I wanted to see the famous students of Class A," a tall boy with purple hair said as he stepped forward from the crowd.
"But if this is the kind of person you have here, it's disappointing."
"There are many students in this school who were placed in the General Studies or other departments because they failed to enter the Hero Course," he continued calmly.
"But the school has given us a chance."
"If we perform well at the Sports Festival, we may be transferred into the Hero Course."
He looked directly at Bakugo.
"So yes, I came here to scout the competition."
"But more importantly…"
"I came to declare war."
"Even if you're from the Hero Course, don't get arrogant."
"You might end up being defeated by us."
At that moment, another boy with white hair stepped out angrily.
"I'm from Class B next door!"
"I came to ask about the villain attack, but you're acting like you're the king of the world!"
"Talk big all you want now," he added.
"But you might get slapped in the face when the real competition begins!"
The hallway quickly turned chaotic.
Students crowded the area so tightly that no one could move.
All of it had been triggered by Bakugo's earlier provocation.
"I heard someone here has a hypnosis Quirk," the purple-haired boy said as he scanned the room.
His eyes stopped on Izuna.
"What are you trying to do?" Izuna asked calmly as he stepped forward beside Bakugo.
"It's impressive to enter Class A with a Quirk like that," the boy said with clear provocation in his tone.
Izuna recognized him immediately.
Hitoshi Shinso.
A student from the General Studies Department.
His Quirk—Brainwashing—was very similar to hypnosis.
In fact, purely in terms of Quirk ability, Shinso's power could be considered even stronger.
But Izuna knew the truth.
He didn't actually possess a Quirk at all.
"So why I entered Class A…" Izuna said as he picked up his bag.
"You'll see during the Sports Festival."
"If there's nothing else, move aside."
"You're blocking the way."
"Heh," Shinso smirked.
"You've got quite an attitude."
"But that's fine."
"The higher someone stands…"
"The harder they fall."
He looked directly at Izuna.
"My name is Hitoshi Shinso."
"Let's meet again…"
"…at the Sports Festival."
