Damn blindfolded bastard…
Aiko, Aoto, and Fumiko are currently looking around for Kazu in the main hall.
"Wow, 'Aiko-Chan'… you just had to send the BLIND GUY out to get the report huh?"
Aoto said with an irritated sigh.
Aiko rolls her eyes, but she can't help but feel a bit worried about him.
"Ugh, this is so boring! I hate waiting, Aiko-Kun!" Fumiko whines.
"I know, I know. It was my fault. Maybe we should check the front desk to see if they saw him."
Aiko says with a more determined expression.
While the trio is still looking for Kazu, we see that he's actually already outside tracking down the school.
"Alright let's see… Guns, check. Sword, check. Bible…"
Kazu feels down at his belt and notices he isn't carrying his bible.
"What the… Shaba, have you seen my bible?"
Suddenly, a smooth, nonchalant voice echoes through Kazu's mind.
"Nah, I haven't. Maybe you misplaced it?" Shaba mutters.
Kazu's eyebrows furrowed, "Like hell you did. Where's my bible, Shaba?"
Kazu said with a bit of irritation.
Shaba doesn't reply.
Kazu lets out a groan as he takes out his gun and points it where his eyes would be.
"Hey Hey! Relax there pal! Your bible is in your dorm, put the damn gun down you psycho!" Shaba pleads out.
Kazu scoffs and puts his guns in his holsters.
"Damn you curse, always wastin' my time."
After gathering everything he needs, Kazu makes his way towards his dorm, then the private high.
Meanwhile, the other three are still searching for Kazu themselves.
"Ugh, I'm so stupid for leaving him on his own! I'm sorry guys, I don't know what I was thinking…"
Aiko says while rubbing her temples.
Aoto smirks with a snarky expression.
"Heh, we finally got rid of that dumb blind idiot. Don't worry, Aiko-Chan. We can find a reasonable replaceme-"
Aiko and Fumiko suddenly whacked him on the back of the head.
"That's practically our senior! Without him, we might as well just leave!" Fumiko pouts.
Aiko sighs and sits next to the window, and she suddenly sees Kazu leaving the committee building.
"There he is! Come on guys, let's go catch up to him!" Aiko says while dragging the other pair along.
Back to Kazu, he is currently getting intel about the Summon from Shaba.
"Due to this threat being a Summon, it can't be that hard to know what it's capable of."
Shaba mutters while in thought.
Kazu nods and quickly makes a shortcut towards the school.
"Luckily I remember the route to the school since I had similar commissions related to this exact private high."
Kazu paused before continuing,
"That was… before I met your dumbass and you took my eyesight from me."
He added with an annoyed tone.
Shaba chuckles sheepishly.
"It was for my sake and yours you know, we were both gonna die." Shaba mutters.
Kazu huffs and continues down the path of the private high school.
"Alright, we made it. I can feel the dread from out here…" Kazu said with vigilance.
He enters the high school and he notices there's a bunch of small curses lingering around.
"These ones are harmless, the real threats are the ones that can actually 'see' you." Shaba noted.
You might be wondering, "What the hell is this guy talking about?" Well, let me give you a quick recap.
[The year is 1993. Kazu, stripped from the blindfold, had to take on a commission to take on a summon, who is later known as Shaba. Shaba's powerset is that he can manipulate the state and property of how someone lives.
For example: He can take one's ability to see curses, he can make alterations to their physical form temporarily, and most importantly, he can instantly kill other curses. For someone like Kazu, who doesn't use any fancy holy tech for his weapons, Shaba would expect him to be small fry, right? He'd be gravely mistaken.
Kazu left Shaba on his last life and almost exorcized him, however, Shaba made his final command; to execrate Kazu and take over his vision, permanently. It's only when Kazu takes off the blindfold where he can unlock the full potential of Shaba's powerset. No one in the safety commission knows about Kazu's secret, and if they do… he will be executed.]
"I feel a strong execrational presence, watch my back Shaba…"
Kazu said while taking out one of his guns from his holster.
Shaba hums.
Suddenly, a curse crashes through the door and knocks into Kazu, pinning him down.
Kazu scoffs, pointing his gun at its head.
"Tch, I don't have time for this…"
BANG! BANG!
The curse shrieks in agony, then goes limp, fading into dust.
"Heh, that's one disgusting piece of filth gon-"
As soon as Kazu was about to finish his sentence, more curses came shooting out of different classrooms, lunging at him.
Kazu takes out his other gun and aims at them.
"Looks like we got ourselves a party!!! Come get some bastards!!!"
