Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 Receiving Magic Pikachu

This thought inexplicably flashed through Gar's mind.

He then looked thoughtfully at the many lit-up Pokémon origins.

Then Gar looked at the Pokémon origins in front.

The points needed for these Pokémon origins were not high; those lit up in front were basically first evolutions, while some further back were second or third evolutions.

As for the Godly Pokémon or those with high base stats, they were still completely black, in an unactivated state.

Gar looked at the Pokémon origins in front.

[ Squirtle Origin: 1000 points ]

[ Charmander Origin: 1000 points ]

[ Pikachu Origin: 1000 points ]

[.... ]

[.... ]

[ Nidoking Origin: 3200 points ]

[ Blastoise Origin: 3200 points ]

[ Charizard Origin: 3500 points ]

Gar looked at the many origins and chose to activate the Pikachu origin.

As his thought settled, his points decreased by one thousand, the Pikachu origin became brighter, and the points needed for exchange below the Pikachu origin sculpture disappeared, seemingly indicating it could be used permanently.

Gar was slightly surprised; it was permanent.

Then he activated Receiving Magic.

No Magic circle lit up.

Swish!

Gar, who was sitting across from Gray, suddenly disappeared.

Gray was burying his head in his food when he suddenly felt a flash in front of him; he looked up and found Gar gone:

???

He looked left and right, but there was no one:

Gar?

Gar?

Suddenly.

Gar's voice came from across the table:

"I'm here."

Gray looked across, a bit confused; there was no one there?

He turned sideways and looked down at the chair across from him, but only saw a yellow-skinned... mouse?

"Are you... Gar???"

Gar, in his Pikachu form, waved his small short paws:

"Keep eating."

"I'm just researching Receiving Magic."

Gray nodded blankly:

"Oh, oh."

Since it was nothing, he continued eating.

Speaking of which, he seemed to have heard Ur mention Receiving Magic.

What did Gar Gar require? He felt it seemed very weak, was it a mouse?

Gar naturally didn't know what Gray was thinking.

At this moment, Gar, who had turned into a Pikachu, looked down at his body and clenched his small yellow paws.

He felt a sensation within his body different from his human form, as if it was operating instinctively; the sides of Gar's cheeks, in his Pikachu form, flashed with electricity.

Zzzzt—

It seemed that as long as he thought about it, he could instantly activate all the skills Pikachu knew.

Like Thunderbolt and the like.

Gar felt the Pikachu's body.

Compared to his human body, after turning into a Pikachu, his resistance to electricity was much stronger than when he was human.

This indicated that his Receiving Magic had truly turned him into a Pikachu.

It wasn't based on his own condition to enhance it.

Why was this happening?

Gar looked thoughtfully at the origin space before him.

The statue that had been brightly lit representing the Pikachu origin had turned white; was it because the origin had been required by him?

And at the very front, an Arceus statue had appeared there, brightly lit.

Representing....

Did the bright light mean it could be activated at any time?

The Arceus template origin was what he had initially drawn.

Because he required Pikachu, was it replaced?

Gar's mouth suddenly twitched.

Was that the reason?

The Strongest Pokémon... System.

He still remembered that when he first transmigrated, he drew the Strongest Trainer System, and the system condensed his body into a human form.

As a result, he encountered a spatial turbulence, interrupting the drawing.

He was forced to transmigrate here to Fairy Tail.

But his body was still the condensed human body, yet when the system redrew, it turned into the Strongest Pokémon System, obtaining the template origin of Arceus and integrating it into the human body.

So....

These origins, in other words, were templates.

By activating the Pikachu origin and requiring it, he directly turned into a Pikachu.

Because he should have been... a 'Pokémon'.

His Receiving Magic, after requiring the Pokémon origin, was equivalent to replacing his own Arceus origin; now it shouldn't be called the Strongest Pokémon System, but rather the Strongest Pikachu System....

Thinking of this, Gar quickly dispelled Receiving Magic.

Swish!

Light flashed, and he instantly turned back into his human form.

Gar couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, he turned back.

It's better not to easily try such unknown things in the future.

If the Pikachu origin had replaced the Arceus origin and he couldn't turn back, that would be a huge joke.

Gar looked at the origin space.

The Pikachu origin statue had regained its color and was brightly lit again.

And the Arceus origin, which was ranked first, had turned white.

Gar scrolled down; although many Pokémon origins were open, they were almost useless to Gar, at most just for fun.

No matter how strong Pikachu is, it can't be stronger than Arceus.

However, there were still many merits, the most important of which was after performing an origin requip.

Physical fitness would synchronize and change.

Just now, when he turned into Pikachu, although his resistance to electricity was high, his mental strength and Confusion were still there.

But his physical strength was that of a true Pikachu.

It was much weaker than when he was human.

If Gar himself were to fight, he could kill himself as Pikachu in one move.

However....

There wasn't just Pikachu in here.

Groudon, Kyurem, Rayquaza, these were all Pokémon with extremely strong bodies.

Their physical strength was leagues above Gar's human body.

He hadn't forgotten that guy Gildarts; when he encountered Black Dragon Acnologia in the future, his body was torn apart instantly, losing an arm and a leg, almost losing his life.

The physical strength of Black Dragon Acnologia was far beyond what a human body could compare to.

However, although Pokémon like Groudon and Kyurem had strong bodies, the activation points needed for their origins... made Gar's teeth hurt just looking at them.

He'd better wait until the system is almost repaired before accumulating points.

Gar spent some time researching the Pokémon origins here; besides Pikachu, he also exchanged for a few special ones like [ Gengar Origin, Dragonite Origin, Steelix Origin... ] these Pokémon origins specializing in aspects like speed or defense far exceeding a human body.

Soon.

Gray also finished eating and stretched:

"Phew—"

"Gar, when are we leaving?"

Gar looked up at the clock in the center of the dining hall:

"Two more hours, let's rest for a while."

Suddenly.

Gar paused.

He stared at the newspaper on the table below the clock, which was about to fall off.

He raised his hand and pointed at the newspaper.

With a rustling sound, a newspaper floated up and quickly flew into Gar's hand.

Only to see in the corner of the newspaper, there was a photo of a group of prisoners being escorted.

And the headline read:

[ The Magic Council's crackdown on lewd crimes has shown initial results, arresting suspects.... ]

From the content below, he learned that some low-level Magicians were using Magic to engage in things similar to honey traps, extorting money from ordinary people.

But these were not the main points.

In the photo of the escorted prisoners, Gar saw a familiar back:

"That guy Gildarts...."

"What is he doing?"
