In the unknown place, the fate guy had explained to Lucan everything that had happened.
He was flabbergasted, "Does that mean... I killed them all? Really...".
The fate guy replied, "No! You were lucky, as the golden butterfly suppressed you and we arrived in time to save you both!"
Lucan looked at his hands. "So does that mean I don't have control over my power? Then I mustn't return home anytime soon!"
The fate guy nodded. "Until you can keep it under control, you shouldn't meet them! Or try anything that would trigger your emotions!"
Lucan grinned, "Hehe, nope! Even if I can control my powers, I ain't meeting them back! As I was already asked to never come again!
It would just waste my time, and moreover, remember I am trying to erase my emotions and human nature.
And turn cold and ruthless...
Sacrifices are necessary for reaching one's goal! Anything has a price to pay, and I shall pay with these feelings!"
The fate guy gently smiled, "Huh, whatever you decide, I won't oppose it! As it's your life, your own self must decide it!

Lucan tore off his shirt and grinned, "Sometimes my inner self says to let it run wild! Do whatever it wants to do!

His body turned cosmic; it now had the appearance of space, glowing as bright as a star.
He turned insane, losing his sanity...
"HAHAHA, I AM FREE TO DO WHATEVER I WANT TO DO! I AM ETERNALLY FREE, I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT! IS THIS CALLED ETERNAL FREEDOM?"
Cosmic energy surged throughout his body; it was as if he had become one with the cosmos.
He was laughing crazily, waiting for the fate guy to unleash his powers...
But the fate guy smirked, "I have already unleashed my powers! A pity none of you can see it except me!"
Lucan laughed, "Hehe, that is your form? It appears just the same as you regularly do...
But I am not others, I am Lucan! I learned a quote back on Earth:
'Don't judge a book by its cover.'
So... you are probably not to be underestimated!"
The fate guy was stunned. "Impressive precision! You Earthlings truly aren't C-tier! I wonder how—"
Lucan's hands pierced through his chest. "Use an opening whenever you see one! Hehe, you were wide open.
The opportunity was too great to miss!"
The fate guy spat out blood. "Hehe, I should have remembered that I am fighting Lucan! It wouldn't be a fair one."
As he said that, Lucan clustered cosmic energy into his arm and blew him away in mass destruction.
The surroundings completely disappeared into nothingness.
The fate guy was down on the ground, frowning deeply.
"YOU GIVE ME NO TIME TO USE MY POWER—"
Lucan once again grabbed him by the neck and attacked him.
He giggled, "Hat-trick! Fate guy, you might die! Hehe, give up?"
The fate guy's hands pierced through Lucan's body. "You see, I learn quick, Lucan... from my own mistakes."
Lucan retreated as he coughed out blood. "Hahaha, this is fun! Let me fight to the death! Whenever one person is going to die, we end the fight."
The fate guy smirked, "Accepted!"
His whole body was healed back to its initial stage.
He said, "Looks like your attacks were worthless, huh?"
Lucan's body also regenerated. "Hehe, I too can heal myself! The cosmos is one with me! I can use a tiny bit of its powers!
Then imagine... I have almost all of the abilities ever known to exist... along with unknown abilities!"
The fate guy was stunned. "Wait... that sounds too overpowered! It can't be possible... how?"
Lucan grinned, "Well, you see, the downside of this power is the worst you can ever get...
The disadvantage is that whatever is the most important to you gets farther away each time I use it.
And it's the same rule for anybody who uses it! For me, it's my goal... what use is this shitty power when my goal goes further away from my reach..."
The fate guy replied, "Damn... that means whoever wields that power can't get what they want... so useless!"
Lucan laughed, "I don't care, it's just a rule which I can't break for now! But in the future, I will definitely find a way... but now, fate guy, listen..."
The fate guy stopped moving. "Yes? What is it—"
Lucan's hands were choking him, and his other hand had a cosmic energy sphere ready to be fired.
He said, "You lose! Fate guy, I could've killed you!"
The fate guy frowned, "Damn it... you tricked me? Ugh, I hate this! It's not fair at all!"
Lucan's form slowly disappeared, letting him turn back to normal. "You see, it was a chance for both of us! I gambled on it; you could've also tried to attack me.
Hehe!"
Lucan collapsed to the ground, and immediately, his powers vanished.
It let out a massive shockwave, giving the same feeling to everyone he had ever met before.
All of them felt this power... at the exact same instant.
In Fate's Domain, everyone who was fighting had their forms glitch for a split second.
Their hearts sank to rock bottom...
Even Fate was no exception...
The voice spoke, "Lucan... he has achieved success in using that power... it's getting worse for me!
Hehe, but there are three downsides to the power; he must already know one and probably thinks that's all...

The Life Crystal frowned. "What? How can Lucan affect all of us? Did he become a galaxy-level being?"
The Death Crystal replied, "No! Did you listen to Fate? He probably has three weaknesses!"
The Crystal of Betrayal laughed, "Lucan... you never fail to make me admire you! Hahaha, as expected from my inspiration!"
Kaol Noah smirked, "Good. I thought killing him would be too boring, but it seems interesting now..."
The black figure was the only one who realized something.
He thought, "All of you are thinking wrong, including Lucan! This power is actually not what you all think it is...
I must never cross paths with that kid!"
But he never showed it, acting calm and tranquil.
Freol's gaze shifted past him. "I see you are probably hiding something... mind spilling it out?"
The black figure frowned, "But how? I didn't even change my expression... are you reading my mind?"
Freol smirked, "Nah, never mind!"
He moved ahead to fight the crystals. The black figure was now too distracted, thinking about what Freol was actually talking about.
Did he read his mind? Or had he found out what he was hiding?
The black figure rushed to find him, thinking, "Freol! No, I hope you didn't find out the truth... ugh! Crystals, get out of the way!"
He was acting so ironically right now, ignoring his lifetime goal of collecting the crystals.
Seeing this, the Crystal of Betrayal said, "Kaol, do you think what I think?"
Kaol crushed a crystal with his bare hands. "Yep, he is definitely hiding some crucial secret! Let's take care of him later. First, let's find a way out of these endless crystals.
