Azaria knew she had said she'd wait until Theon was ready to share his secret, but with every passing day it became harder to keep that promise. She was getting desperate to tell him she loved him, and she didn't want to just throw those words out carelessly the way she had in her past relationships. She wanted them to mean something. She wanted him to know they came from her own certainty rather than excitement or a spur of the moment thing.
Looking back, she wasn't even sure she had truly loved the men she had dated before. At that time, it had certainly felt like love. They had swept her off her feet with sweet words, thoughtful gestures and promises that had sounded believable.
