The weather was so gloomy and it was giving signs of impending rainfall but that is not an issue for Cassidy,she had come shopping today for a reason,she knew very well that spies are watching her movements,in her past life she had always wondered how Martha knew her so well and was too carried away to investigate but now she has discovered that her daily routines were all reported back to Martha and she purposely decided to do some shopping this day at the mall she normally goes to so that she can be approached by either Martha or Claudia and she was right because she could already see Martha,she knows that giving the Johnson's financial condition that Martha can't be so extravagant to go shopping.
Cassidy was trying to pick out a gown when a hand reached out and grabbed the gown,the hand belonged to Martha who feigned surprised when she saw Cassidy
"Fancy running into you here Cassidy,I usually come here but this is the first time I'm seeing you"Martha said in a surprised tone
Cassidy looked at her clearly seeing through the facade but decided to play along to know why she was approached by Martha
"I come here to buy clothes sometimes,they deliver the clothes sometimes at home so that might be the reason why we don't normally see each other here"Cassidy replied looking rather bored but is also curious to know what Martha is scheming
"That reminds me Cassidy,it's about what happened the last time I came to your house with Claudia,I can tell you for a fact that your brother's DNA test result is wrong,you are not a Jordon and I can prove it to you. You just need to conduct your own test and find out yourself, don't be deceived by that family,I only want to make this good for you and I don't want you to be deceived by people with ill intentions"Martha said feigning concern as she reached out to touch Cassidy who immediately dodged her hands while giving her a false smile
"Mrs Martha Johnson,I can clearly see that you don't want to give up on this issue seeing how you personally came here to tell me this even after seeing a positive report but that is not what I want to address" Cassidy said as she touched her collar and cleaned and imaginary dust. "My name is Cassidy Jordan,the only daughter of the Jordon family and even if I do some test and I'm told that I don't biologically belong to my parents,I'm still a Jordon so I will really advice that you stop with this issue or you face the consequences "Cassidy said with a smile that didn't touch her eyes,she wants to immediately tear up the woman infront of her to avenge she made her go through in her previous life but she held herself,she had vowed to herself that she must avenge her and her family,she must do everything to prevent the fall of the Jordon family,her family is the top syndicate family in the country,feared by all and she had vowed to make people still piss their pants by even thinking about hurting her family but she needs to be also smart with her plans and not miscalculate.
Martha stood there transfixed,this is not the same Cassidy that was reported back to her,the Cassidy that she always knew was naive, gullible and kind hearted but this one in her presence in clearly a venomous snake that can be troublesome to her plans and she's not about to take it sitting down,she has already come too far to give up,the Johson family is declining everyday and she needs to step up her game so that she would succeed and she is willing to terminate any obstacle
Martha's initial surprise quickly morphed into a calculated assessment. This Cassidy was a far cry from the one she'd manipulated before. The innocent facade was gone, replaced by a steely resolve that sent a shiver down Martha's spine. Cassidy's words, though delivered with a chilling smile, carried the weight of a threat, a stark warning that Martha hadn't anticipated. She subtly shifted her weight, her eyes scanning Cassidy, trying to gauge the depth of this newfound assertiveness. The Jordon family's power was indeed formidable, a fact Martha had always respected, but she believed her own family's desperation would give her an edge.
Cassidy, sensing Martha's unease, pressed her advantage. "Secrets are best left buried, Mrs. Johnson. Especially when they involve attempts to undermine a family's legacy. My family is strong, and we protect our own. Perhaps you should focus on your own family's affairs instead of meddling in ours." The air between them crackled with unspoken animosity, a silent battle of wills playing out amidst the racks of designer clothing. Cassidy knew this was just the beginning, and she was ready for whatever Martha had planned. She decided to leave because she had already confirmed everything that she wanted to confirm, Martha was not about to give so she had to execute the first phase of her plan,the plan for the Johnsons end in now in motion and she is the executive planner

Claudia was seen pacing up and down in her room reeking of alcohol,the disgrace that she felt while fleeing the Jordon estate with her mum was still fresh in her mind,she has never been digraced like that since she was given birth to, everyone worshipped the ground that she walked because of her status as the sole heiress of the Johnson family,she felt so angry and jealous that Cassidy who's not even biologically related to the Jordon family was treated like a royalty and she's not one to bend down to anybody,she smiled wickedly as a plan formed in her head,she knows Cassidy's secret, her mum had clearly told her that she was switched and she is about to use that secret as an advantage,she picked up her phone and called an unsaved number that she had not called for years already cooking up a plan,no girl who had crossed her ever lived to tell her story because was her mother's daughter and everything must go her way.
