"Tony!"
The shoulder plates of the Mark armor opened, and several micro-missiles shrieked toward Iron Monger.
Seeing the red-and-gold blur charging straight at him, Obadiah showed no fear at all despite his suit's mobility having already dropped to rock bottom. With a roar, he charged forward to meet it head-on.
Maybe he could not beat the monster that had appeared out of nowhere beside him, but there was no way he could not beat Tony, that little runt.
Boom!
Amid the thunderous explosion of the missile warheads, the once-close uncle and nephew now clashed without mercy, both wrapped in steel armor.
Whoosh!
On the battlefield dozens of meters away, a small battle-axe was lightly thrown toward the ground.
Its icy blade sliced through the air with a sharp whistle as it spun and grew larger midflight.
Then, with a deafening crash, the gigantic axe smashed violently into the ground. The earth split apart at once, and countless rocks blasted outward in every direction.
Because it had absorbed Cyclops's energy, the face of the axe was now glowing with a crimson light.
Hulk stared at the giant axe before him, a weapon far taller than he was, and at the unconcealed battle intent radiating from it. He instinctively shrank back first, then, as if provoked, immediately let out an irritated growl.
"Hulk!"
He leaped in a single bound onto the axe lodged in the ground. His two thick arms seized the handle tightly, trying to wrench it free and hurl it back into the sky.
But lava-like crimson light flowed across the handle, and terrifying heat burst outward in an instant.
For a moment, even Hulk could not withstand the assault of that temperature. He cried out in pain, let go of the handle involuntarily, then jerked his head up to glare at the figure standing in the sky.
After one setback after another, the anger building inside Hulk had reached an unbearable level. In only a short time, his size had already swollen to nearly twice what it had been before.
Seeing the enormous brute bend his knees and lower his stance, clearly about to launch himself at him, Fenris's eyes were now completely flooded with bright blue light. Behind him, the shadow of a savage giant beast had begun flickering into view.
"You don't need to come up here. I'll come down myself."
The low murmur gradually grew rougher and rougher until it transformed into a terrifying roar. The sound rolled outward in waves, and in the distance, even the incoming surf seemed to freeze for a moment.
As the light-wings behind him vanished, Fenris dropped straight toward the ground without slowing down in the slightest, surrendering fully to gravity.
Then thick long tails and claws burst forth, and smooth skin became rough and heavy once more. In an instant, Fenris's body swelled madly in midair.
By now, Hulk had already leaped again and was nearly a hundred meters in the air.
He watched helplessly as the man who had looked skinny and fragile to him just moments ago, as though a gust of wind could knock him over, transformed in the blink of an eye into a horrifying beast more than twice his size.
At that moment, even the wind itself seemed to stop. The blood-red eyes on Hulk's face, filled with madness and rage, abruptly turned clear for a single instant.
Boom!
Fenris did not care what Hulk was thinking. He swung both massive feet without hesitation into the Hulk lunging toward him. The collision of the two monstrous bodies produced a deep, heavy impact.
Fenris came down directly on top of Hulk. His terrifying weight effortlessly choked off Hulk's upward momentum, while the force of Fenris's own descent did not weaken in the slightest.
An overwhelming force crashed down without warning. Hulk only felt a huge black foot suddenly plant itself across his face, and then his entire field of vision vanished.
Boom!
The hundred-plus meters disappeared in a flash. Their massive bodies, carrying terrifying kinetic force, slammed brutally into the ground. The hard mountain stone exploded into a crater several meters deep.
"Ah..."
Hulk, whose hide was so tough that even General Ross's strongest armor-piercing shells had never left a scratch on him, finally suffered the greatest blow since his birth. An involuntary groan of pain slipped from his mouth.
This unknown creature that had suddenly appeared was absurdly heavy. After taking such a crushing impact head-on, even Hulk felt dizzy for a moment, with blurred double vision swimming before his eyes.
A few moments later, he shook his head. His eyes were still blood-red as ever, and at last he crawled back out of the crater.
"Oh?"
"You can still stand after that?"
Fenris was already standing at the edge of the pit, quietly watching as Hulk fixed his gaze on him again.
"What are you looking at?"
Fenris waved a claw at him in open provocation, then slowly backed up a few steps. "Still not satisfied? Want another round?"
As his body grew larger, the power contained inside it became more and more terrifying. His belly also started swelling outward uncontrollably. Although it did not affect his agility at all, it gave him a faintly pudgy look.
Faced with such naked provocation, Hulk spread his arms and hurled himself straight at Fenris without hesitation, even though Fenris was still twice his height.
"Hulk!"
With a furious roar, he lifted his cauldron-sized fist high and smashed it down hard. There was no technique in it at all, but the simple, brutal power behind it made the attack enormously destructive.
Looking at Hulk, who had grown to twice his former size but still barely came up to Fenris's belly, Fenris lowered his head and instinctively bared his teeth.
Broken stone flew everywhere. As Hulk's heavy punch came crashing in, Fenris's claw shot out.
Bang!
Their limbs collided, and immense force exploded instantly. The surrounding air compressed violently, then burst outward again.
The sudden release of pressure whipped up a fierce gale out of nowhere across an area nearly a hundred meters wide.
"You've got some strength, but not enough."
Fenris's sharp claws suddenly tightened, clamping Hulk's fist firmly in place.
At the same time, his plump belly thrust outward. Power exploded through him, and Hulk, who had already spent the force behind his strike, was flung away on the spot.
Fenris did not let up after gaining the upper hand. His huge body burst forward in an instant, directly catching up to Hulk's flying form.
His left claw shot out again, seizing Hulk's thick short leg in midair. With one savage yank, he easily canceled out all the enormous inertia still carrying Hulk away.
Boom!
Caught completely off guard, Hulk was swung in a full arc and smashed viciously into the ground again.
"That's for provoking me!"
"And you still dared swing at me?"
"Still gonna do it? Still gonna do it?"
As if that still was not satisfying enough, Fenris casually hauled Hulk back up while he was still dizzy, then smashed him into the ground several more times before finally stopping.
Fenris's claws were not especially built for gripping, but they were just right for holding Hulk. It felt as though Hulk had been made to be the perfect punching bag for him, fitting in his hand almost too well.
The same familiar defiance still there, Hulk struggled back to his feet yet again and charged at him once more. Fenris nodded in satisfaction.
"Get up. Keep going."
