"You're lying," Aarav said coldly.
Nisha shrugged.
"Am I?"
She pulled out her phone.
Opened something.
Then handed it to Ananya.
A recording.
A voice.
Aarav's voice.
"…this marriage was a mistake."
Ananya froze.
Her hands trembled.
"I never said that," Aarav said immediately.
But the recording played again.
Clear.
Undeniable.
Her heart shattered all over again.
"You told me you were forced," she whispered.
"I was!"
"Then what is this?!"
Aarav stepped closer.
"It's edited—"
Nisha interrupted.
"Convenient excuse."
Ananya stepped back.
Her trust—
Cracking again.
"I believed you…" she said softly.
