Cedric Valdrake Arkhen — firstborn of the most feared ducal house in the Empire, hated by every protagonist, scheduled to die in every single route, sometimes before chapter thirty. Cedric entered the duel convinced Liora Ashveil would fight like anger given legs. He saw commoner rage, not discipline. He saw inferior birth, not superior hunger. He saw a girl he could break publicly and turn into a warning.
