Chapter 619 - Chapter 619 Have a Normal Son in Your Next Life

Heiji looked at Bakugo, scanning him up and down, like inspecting the quality of a product.

"I don't know why that Gyoro-Gyoro has his eye on you, but having a bit more combat power is always a good thing."

With that, Heiji gestured with his thumb over his shoulder and said coldly, "Come with us."

Masaru looked at Heiji and Saguru, who were clearly no longer human, and remembered the news report he had seen today. His heart skipped a beat.

These two had already been turned into Anomalies by that organization called the Anomaly Association, and now they clearly wanted to drag his son down with them.

This man, usually timid and weak within the family, suddenly found some courage. He grabbed his son's hand and said in a trembling voice, "Ka... Katsuki, don't do anything rash... If you do this, there's no going back."

Izuku also realized what was happening. He instinctively reached out to grab Bakugo's other hand. "Kacchan, don't go—"

A sword shadow flashed.

The arm Masaru was using to hold his son was neatly severed below the elbow.

The severed arm fell to the ground. The fingers were still clutching Bakugo's sleeve.

Blood sprayed from the stump, splashing onto Bakugo's face.

Masaru screamed and fell to the ground, clutching his stump as his body convulsed violently.

Bakugo stood there dumbfounded, looking down at the severed hand still on his wrist.

A few seconds later, he looked up sharply at Heiji.

Heiji sheathed his sword, looking annoyed. "So much whining."

If Kazuha saw him like this, she would definitely find him strange. Although this guy's personality was basically a copy of Shinichi, and he usually lacked emotional intelligence, he wasn't this twisted.

But it wasn't surprising. After all, he had nothing left in this world.

When he was being tortured publicly by Makoto's men and those Nazarick people, he had seen that his mother and childhood sweetheart had already had their memories erased by Makoto.

Truly, there wasn't a single person he cared about in this world anymore.

After becoming an Anomaly, he had completely let himself go.

In other words, he was getting revenge on society.

Mitsuki watched her husband writhing in pain on the floor. Her lips trembled, and she couldn't say a word for a long time.

Bakugo looked at his father, his hands shaking, completely at a loss.

"I have a good idea." Heiji's eyes suddenly lit up. He flicked his sword and stuck it in the wooden floor in front of Bakugo.

"Boy, go kill this noisy bastard."

As soon as he said this, Bakugo and Izuku looked at Heiji in disbelief.

"If you want to become an Anomaly, you must first abandon your humanity. Show me your resolve." Heiji crossed his arms, a playful smile on his lips.

Saguru stood beside him, leaning against the wall, watching the scene without saying a word.

He had grown accustomed to Heiji's increasingly twisted behavior.

From the day he was tortured in Impel Down, he knew that Heiji was no longer the same Hattori Heiji he had been.

And he was no longer the same Hakuba Saguru.

Bakugo's hands trembled as he slowly reached for the sword handle stuck in the floor.

His Adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed his saliva. His eyes were fixed on his father, still screaming on the floor. He couldn't make up his mind for a moment.

Although he was quite a bastard himself, he still had that last shred of humanity.

But Heiji's voice seemed to carry a strange, bewitching power, hitting the deepest desires of his heart.

"A great cause requires unscrupulous means. Do you want to gain power and become a member of the new era? Or do you want to remain unknown and become fish on the chopping block?"

The words 'great cause' echoed in Bakugo's mind like a stone dropped into a calm lake, ripples spreading in all directions, washing away all the distracting thoughts in his head.

"Kacchan, don't, please don't..."

Izuku knelt on the ground, pleading incessantly, his face covered in tears and snot.

Bakugo let out a roar, pulled the sword from the floor, and swung it at his father.

Half a minute later, Bakugo panted heavily, looking at the fleshy mess before him. His body was frozen, unable to come to his senses for a long time.

"Kacchan... Kacchan..."

Izuku was crying uncontrollably, watching his most precious friend, his heart being torn apart.

Heiji looked at this kid, full of tears and snot, with disgust.

'Why was he still so noisy?'

"Kill him too."

Bakugo turned to look at Izuku. Izuku was so frightened he fell back into the corner of the room, curling up into a ball like an animal pushed to its limit.

Bakugo looked at his pathetic state for a few seconds, then turned to Heiji and said, "Didn't you say the Anomaly Association is still short on combat power? Why not bring him along too?"

Heiji raised an eyebrow and looked at that pathetic-looking green-haired kid. To be honest, he didn't think this little brat could be of any help.

But since Bakugo had already laid hands on his father, it showed he had the resolve to become an Anomaly. Might as well give him a little respect.

After all, he was someone Gyoro-Gyoro had their eye on. It wouldn't be good to sour the relationship.

"Let's go."

Heiji turned and jumped out through the hole in the wall.

Saguru followed behind him. The flames on his body flickered in the night wind.

Bakugo took one last look at the fleshy mess on the floor, as if saying goodbye to his last shred of humanity. Then he turned and followed.

Izuku was still huddled in the corner, trembling.

"Come." Bakugo didn't look back.

Izuku looked up at Bakugo's back, remembering his mother's smile.

In the end, he got up from the floor and followed, stumbling.

Forget it. Let it be as if he, Midoriya Izuku, never had any of this.

About five minutes later, Makoto and his group, accompanied by Mitsuki, arrived at the scene.

The air was thick with the smell of blood.

A large, dark red fleshy mess was on the floor. It was impossible to tell where the arms ended and the legs began.

Mitsuki's eyes widened in shock. Then her legs gave way, and she fell to her knees, her hands not knowing where to put themselves.

Her mouth wide open, she screamed hoarsely, "Masaru—! Who did this—?! Who did this—?!"

"That Bakugo isn't here."

Shinobu walked out, crouched on the other side of the fleshy mess, and observed. Her fingers gently traced the edge of the blood.

When she had been hunting Demons, she had often investigated corpses to find clues.

"The cuts are very rough. It probably wasn't done by a superpowered person. It looks more like the work of an ordinary person."

Shinobu stood up, took out a tissue, and wiped the blood off her fingers.

Kanae looked at the smooth cut on the broken wall, ran her index finger over it. The cut was extremely smooth, like a mirror.

Kanae turned to look at Makoto. "Someone who can make a slash like this is at least a Demon-level monster."

With that, Kanae frowned slightly. "That's strange. The one who broke through the wall was a Demon-level monster, but the one who killed Masaru was an ordinary person."

Her younger sister, Shinobu, was also quite confused.

"Isn't it obvious?"

Nayuta poked her head out from behind Makoto and said, "The Anomalies came to recruit the durian-head, then had the durian-head kill his dad as a loyalty test. Isn't that simple?"

It had to be said, the new brain was sharp.

Mitsuki knelt on the ground, hearing these words. Her body trembled violently. She looked at the fleshy mess, her lips trembling, tears streaming down. Her son's face kept appearing in her mind.

A few seconds later, she shook her head desperately. "Impossible... impossible..."

Seeing Mitsuki's emotions growing more and more agitated, her eyes rolling back,

Kanae, unable to bear it, brought down her hand in a chopping motion, gently hitting Mitsuki's neck.

Mitsuki's body went limp. Kanae caught her in her arms.

"That Megumi was right. Every married woman who gets close to you ends up a widow."

Nayuta clasped her hands behind her back, looked up at Makoto, a mischievous smile on her lips.

Makoto ruffled Nayuta's hair roughly. His big hand mussed her soft black hair into a mess.

Nayuta didn't dodge. She just narrowed her eyes, letting him mess with her.

"Need me to use my ability to kill that Bakugo?" Nayuta tilted her head and asked.

Her ability to squeeze someone from a distance was unparalleled. She didn't even need to know the target's face and real name like the Death Note to kill from a distance. She just needed some general information about the person.

However, it wouldn't work against stronger enemies... for example, Demon-level Anomalies or above.

But dealing with a piece of trash like Bakugo was child's play for her.

Makoto shook his head. "Forget it. Your ability requires sacrifices."

Under his rule, the crime rate in the Nishikawa Nation was extremely low, not only because of his deterrent power but also because of Impel Down's contribution. After all, no one wanted to be thrown in there.

Therefore, there were very few death-row inmates that could be used as sacrifices.

Nayuta saw right through Makoto's thoughts. "You just don't want him to die too easily, do you?"

Makoto clicked his tongue. He felt that having his women know him too well wasn't a good thing. It was too easy for them to see through him.

Kanae carried Mitsuki on her back and asked Makoto, "Makoto-sama, the trail is lost. What should we do next?"

"We'll just wait."

Makoto turned around. "Anyway, all those scumbags who escaped from Impel Down have a grudge against me. They'll definitely come out."

He walked two steps, then stopped. He glanced sideways at the fleshy mess, now impossible to identify, and thought of another unlucky father who had been killed by his son.

He smiled. "Have a normal son in your next life."
