"Shut up!"
Whether it was because his sore spot had been hit or not, Soshi suddenly retreated, creating distance from Saeko.
His rapidly retreating body flipped twice in the air, and with a backhand slash, he sent a ring-shaped sword energy.
The sharp cutting force, spinning through the air, emitted a piercing scream.
If Takashi barely reached Demon-level, then Soshi was touching the threshold of Dragon-level.
The strength after turning into Anomaly was, to some extent, tied to the user's original strength... for example, turning into Anomaly could level you up about thirty levels.
Someone who was originally only level five would go to level thirty-five. But someone who was originally level fifty would go straight to level eighty.
The enhancement was naturally different. Soshi was of the latter type. After all, even before becoming an Anomaly, he was already quite proficient in swordsmanship.
Reze's red lips parted slightly. She gently breathed a word.
"Boom—!"
A continuous explosion detonated on the incoming sword energy. The explosion's flames and the blade's cutting edge clashed, canceling each other out.
The fire spread from the center of the sword energy outward, blasting the ring-shaped sword energy into fragments.
After the fire dissipated, Reze had already transformed into her Bomb Devil form.
Her hands were wrapped in gunpowder fuses. Her delicate face had turned into a torpedo head with fangs.
Reze looked at the Anomalies surrounding Impel Down and spread her hands.
"So, you want to attack this place?" On her torpedo head, those vertical pupils were full of ridicule. "Do you think you have the ability?"
As she spoke, Reze clapped her hands.
"Everyone, time to work—!"
On Impel Down's towering, cloud-piercing tower, dense rows of doors opened simultaneously.
Countless figures poured out of those doors, like ants crawling out of an anthill.
The sounds of weapons being drawn, wings flapping, and footsteps stomping mixed together, forming a low roar.
Most were the non-human army Makoto had brought from Nazarick... ogres, beastmen, lizardmen, vampires. Their races varied.
The only thing they had in common was that the same emotion, excitement, burned in their eyes.
Life had been too peaceful since coming to the real world. Finally, they could let loose.
Albedo walked out of the door on the highest floor. Her Hermes armor had been repaired, shimmering with a black-purple luster in the sunlight.
Demiurge followed behind her, his long and thin eyes narrowed behind his glasses, a cold sneer on his lips.
Shalltear flew out of a door on another side. Her dripping spear spun in her hand. Her silver hair fluttered in the wind.
And Aura and Mare, the twin siblings who always acted together.
Each of these level 100 NPCs emitted an astonishing aura. Converted to monster rank, each was Dragon-level.
And besides them, countless guards and low-level Demons poured out from the lower floors, at least over a thousand, densely covering Impel Down's square and tower body.
Shinobu smiled slightly. "Having so many powerful companions is really reassuring."
With that, Shinobu paused. "Let's finish this in five minutes."
The moment the words ended, the two sides became a melee. Blood sprayed from severed limbs, forming small streams on the lawn, soon becoming rivers.
Screams, clashes, the sound of bones breaking rose and fell, like a symphony without a conductor.
In less than five minutes, the battle was over. Apart from the nameless small fry, the Anomaly Takashi, Soshi, and the others were all bound.
Takashi was pinned to the ground by Shalltear's dripping spear, half his face embedded in the dirt.
Soshi was held by the neck by Demiurge's demon arm, his feet off the ground, the wrinkles on his face twitching.
Shinobu took out her phone, glanced at it, and said to her colleagues with a smile, "Only four minutes. Good work, everyone."
Reze stomped on Soshi's head. The corner of her torpedo head's mouth split to her ears. "Lock this simp up in Level 5. You're not worthy of Level 6."
With that, the sole of her boot ground on his face, crushing those wrinkles even more.
Soshi, suffering such humiliation, lay on the ground, but the corners of his mouth curved upward.
"Fool." Okita Soshi's tone carried a twisted smugness. "You've taken the bait."
The ground suddenly split open.
Countless enormous octopus tentacles drilled out of the crack. The diameter of those tentacles was comparable to a hundred-ton truck.
They instantly coiled around Impel Down's tower, tightening loop after loop, as if ready to twist Impel Down apart at any moment.
The next second, everyone saw its true form... a giant octopus.
Its size was comparable to the Complete Body Susanoo. Just the part above ground was over a hundred meters.
Its head was semi-circular, its face and tentacles covered in enormous eyeballs, at least a hundred of them.
Demon-level elite... Hundred-Eyed Octopus.
Saeko's eyelids twitched. Not because of this octopus's strength and size... she had dealt with countless enemies of that size.
It was because she hadn't sensed it. Her Observation Haki covered several kilometers around Impel Down. No living creature's presence could escape her perception.
But this octopus, until the moment it burrowed out of the ground, her Observation had had no reaction.
"Saeko-sama, that is—!" Kanae's voice came from behind, carrying a rare urgency.
Saeko looked up. On the Hundred-Eyed Octopus's head stood a bloated, spherical monster.
Its head was an enormous eyeball. The shadow of Impel Down's tower was reflected in its pupil. Countless tiny tentacles extended from the hem of its cloak, gently swaying in the air.
The Anomaly Association's chief of staff... Gyoro-Gyoro.
Takashi lay on the ground, the eyes on his face smiling into slits. "The Association's Dragon-level elite, Gyoro-Gyoro. Possessing powerful telekinesis and precognitive abilities, it can grasp the entire battlefield and block detection by perception abilities."
Gyoro-Gyoro's enormous eyeball slowly turned, its gaze sweeping over everyone present.
"Proceed."
The Hundred-Eyed Octopus's tentacles tightened simultaneously. Those enormous tentacles coiled around Impel Down's tower began to twist.
The stone walls let out 'creaking' sounds under the enormous pressure. Cracks spread outward from where the tentacles were squeezing.
Rock fragments peeled off from the tower, falling from hundreds of meters up, hitting the ground with dull crashes.
"Lion: Slash Wave—!"
Saeko's body shot up from the ground. The Shodai Kitetsu traced a golden arc through the air, transforming mid-flight into a roaring lion.
Boom!
The gunpowder fuses on Reze's arms shot out like spider silk, trailing sparks as they flew toward the Hundred-Eyed Octopus.
"Hellfire—!"
Demiurge waved his hand backhand. Crimson flames surged from his palm, blotting out the sky, burning half the heavens into a sea of fire.
Three Dragon-level attacks, each capable of wiping a town off the map, landed simultaneously on the Hundred-Eyed Octopus.
The Hundred-Eyed Octopus let out a low whimper. Its enormous body collapsed, hitting the ground, spraying rock fragments and dust into the air.
Gyoro-Gyoro slowly floated up from the Hundred-Eyed Octopus's head. Its body hovered in the air, buoyed by telekinesis, easily avoiding the three attacks' aftermath.
Gyoro-Gyoro landed on a rock fragment. Its enormous eyeball turned, glancing at the Hundred-Eyed Octopus, which had been burned to ashes.
"The plan worked."
With that, Gyoro-Gyoro looked up and shouted:
"Hey, you guys inside... come on out!"
The crack in Impel Down's tower began to widen. The next second, the sound of metal cutting came from the crack, one after another.
Boom—!!
That wall completely shattered.
The prisoners ran out from inside.
The first to walk out was a man with black hair and black tattoos on his face.
Ryomen Sukuna, nicknamed the [King of Curses], captured by Makoto's group from the Jujutsu Kaisen World.
He still inhabited Fushiguro Megumi's body. When Makoto watched this anime in his previous life, he always felt Sukuna had feelings for Fushiguro.
Standing next to him was a middle-aged man in a white lab coat.
His hair was messy. His glasses were crooked on the bridge of his nose. A faint, barely perceptible smile hung on his lips.
In his hand was a worn notebook with the words [Human Transmutation] written on the cover.
His aura wasn't that of a prisoner. He looked more like a university professor who had just walked out of a lab, in a hurry to get to class.
Shou Tucker... from the Fullmetal Alchemist World, the number one loving father in anime.
Even Yasopp was a good father compared to him.
In terms of strength, he couldn't even beat Shin-chan. But in terms of how inhuman he was, few in all of Impel Down could match him. For this reason, he was exceptionally held in the deepest Level 6.
Behind them followed even more prisoners, each with excited, impatient expressions, jumping out of the gap one after another.
Veins bulged on Demiurge's temples. He squeezed a word from between his teeth.
"Diversion..."
They now realized.
Takashi, Soshi, and the others were bait, meant to draw out the main force guarding the prison, making it easier to destroy Impel Down.
Saeko's face was completely dark. She barely held back the rage constantly rising in her heart and gritted her teeth, uttering one word.
"Kill."
Makoto's original intention in creating Impel Down was to make these prisoners from various worlds' lives worse than death, to make them live every day in pain and torment.
But now, faced with this situation, there was no other choice. Just kill them all.
