Keenan woke up hard. He was unsure if he had been dreaming but the instant his eyes flew open, he became acutely aware of his arousal.
The next thing he noticed was the darkness. The lone candle had burnt itself out, leaving hardened rivulets of wax behind. Moonlight barely shone through the gaps in the curtains and dark shadows covered every corner.
The dark didn't stop him from noticing how close she was. Close enough that he could feel her cool breath on his arm, her sweet honey scent enveloped him and his pants felt even more uncomfortable.
Keenan blinked rapidly as his eyes adjusted to the darkness. He turned to see her sleeping right next to him. She slept facing him, softly breathing through her nose with a hand to her chest.
He didn't like how quickly his eyes adjusted. He could see her clearly now. The covers stopped around her slender waist and he could easily make out the outline of her breast even in the dark.
