Chapter 205 - CHAPTER 205

Kaguya had spent so many years with Chinatsu that, although she hadn't learned much common sense, she had picked up quite a few of Chinatsu's habits including some of the bad ones.

Look at the way she ate sunflower seeds. Wasn't that exactly how Chinatsu ate them?

And the way she crossed her legs…

Chinatsu was completely speechless as she watched Kaguya imitate her habits. But more than complaining about that, there was one thing she desperately wanted to shout.

"Kaguya! Leave me a few bags of sunflower seeds!"

During the sacrificial ritual, Chinatsu could spare a portion of her consciousness to communicate with Kaguya, but she couldn't simply create a physical body to eat sunflower seeds.

If she could, she would have already created one and accompanied Naruto and Sasuke back to the Land of Whirlpools.

Chinatsu: Leave me a few bags of sunflower seeds!

Kaguya: Tsk, tsk, tsk. No way.

Chinatsu: You!

Chinatsu was speechless.

With no other choice, she could only put more effort into the sacrificial ritual.

Seeing her reaction, Kaguya couldn't help but chuckle softly. She reached for another handful of sunflower seeds from the shelf beside her, casually munching on them while secretly slipping several unopened bags into her sleeve.

Time passed quickly.

Twenty-eight days had gone by since Chinatsu began standing motionless.

Almost a month.

By now, the shops behind Kaguya had practically been completely ransacked by her.

Kaguya was currently lying comfortably on a recliner, wearing sunglasses and basking in the sunlight.

She hadn't heard Chinatsu's voice for an entire day, but that didn't concern her. She could sense that the sacrificial ritual was nearing its end.

At any moment, that stone statue-like Chinatsu beside her might finally move.

Kaguya enjoyed the peaceful moment.

She could also feel that the sky above her would soon be filled with figures.

The next batch of Otsutsuki was coming.

If this had been the Kaguya of the past, she would have been completely panicked.

After all, the White Zetsu army she had created had been specifically intended to deal with the Otsutsuki main clan.

But now?

Facing a large group of approaching Otsutsuki, Kaguya felt no fear whatsoever.

She knew Chinatsu could handle them.

If the Otsutsuki remained outside the Ninja World, Chinatsu would certainly have to work much harder to deal with the main clan's elites.

But once they entered the Ninja World…

They were stepping directly into Chinatsu's territory.

No matter how powerful they were, they would only become prey.

A gentle breeze brushed against Kaguya's cheek.

Her closed eyes suddenly opened.

"They're here."

Instantly, lightning flashed across the sky and thunder roared.

Several Otsutsuki figures appeared high above Kaguya.

They were completely disorganized, chatting amongst themselves as they looked around and admired the magnificent sight of the Ninja World.

"This is incredible. The energy contained within this world far exceeds my expectations."

"Have you ever seen another world comparable to this?"

"Absolutely not."

The Otsutsuki exchanged glances.

Their eyes gradually filled with greed.

Ordinary worlds could usually produce only a single Chakra Fruit.

But this world was different.

The Ninja World had originally possessed the potential to produce two or even three Chakra Fruits.

And after the sacrifice of three extremely powerful Otsutsuki, the amount of energy contained within the world had increased dramatically.

The potential of this world had reached an entirely different level.

Rob it!

That thought appeared simultaneously in the minds of the Otsutsuki.

Just as they were preparing to descend, one of them suddenly noticed the woman lying casually on the recliner below.

Kaguya.

She quietly removed her sunglasses and looked up at them.

For a moment, the Otsutsuki stared at her.

Then one of them recognized her.

"It's Kaguya!"

"She's still alive?!"

"What?"

"Shouldn't she have been sacrificed to the Divine Tree by Isshiki?"

"Did she kill Isshiki instead?"

"Then what about Kinshiki and Momoshiki? Weren't they investigating Isshiki's disappearance? Could they have been killed by Kaguya as well?"

The Otsutsuki frowned as they stared at her.

Kaguya leisurely stood up from the recliner.

With a slight movement, she floated into the air and stopped about a hundred meters away from the group.

"Long time no see."

Her gaze swept across them.

"Some familiar faces… and some strangers."

Kaguya greeted them calmly.

One of the Otsutsuki stepped forward.

After seeing Kaguya's completely different attitude from the one she had possessed when she left the main clan, his expression became stern.

He raised his arm and spoke with an air of righteousness.

"You have violated the rules of the clan."

"If you possess even the slightest awareness of your identity as an Otsutsuki, then you should immediately offer yourself as a sacrifice to the Divine Tree."

"At least that way, your name will be preserved in the clan's genealogy."

Preservation in the clan genealogy.

For the Otsutsuki, this was extremely important.

It was one of the few ways their existence could be recorded and remembered.

The Otsutsuki who spoke stared at Kaguya, clearly expecting to see hesitation or fear on her face.

But he saw neither.

Kaguya simply crossed her arms.

Her expression remained completely indifferent.

She had never cared about having her name recorded in the family genealogy.

When the main clan assigned her to Isshiki as a sacrifice, she had already decided to sever her connection with them.

And after she attacked Isshiki from behind…

There had been no turning back.

Kaguya looked at the Otsutsuki before her and calmly said,

"If you have anything else to say, say it quickly."

She paused.

"Because you won't have another chance later."

"You!!!"

The Otsutsuki's face immediately turned red with anger.

He pointed furiously at Kaguya.

But unfortunately, he wasn't particularly skilled at insulting people.

"You… you…!"

He stammered repeatedly, unable to come up with anything.

Kaguya wasn't exactly good at cursing either.

She was still, at her core, a naive and somewhat innocent woman.

Spending so much time with Chinatsu had only taught her one particularly useful trait.

Being despicable.

As for insulting people?

Neither Kaguya nor Chinatsu was particularly talented in that area.

Fortunately…

They didn't need to be.

The word "despicable" was already enough.

Kaguya's expression suddenly changed.

The corners of her lips curled upward.

"Alright."

Her voice became incredibly calm.

"You've missed your chance."

The Otsutsuki stared at her in confusion.

None of them understood what she meant.

Then

BOOM!

The earth beneath their feet suddenly exploded.

Massive vines erupted from the ground like dragons emerging from the earth.

They shot straight toward the sky.

The Otsutsuki's expressions changed instantly.

"What?!"

"What's happening?!"

"Look down!"

The vines moved with terrifying speed.

Snap!

One Otsutsuki's leg was instantly wrapped around.

Then another.

And another.

Within seconds, every Otsutsuki in the group had been captured.

Confusion.

They looked down.

Surprise.

Then

WHOOSH!!!

The vines violently pulled downward.

"Aaaaaaaah!!!"

The Otsutsuki figures were dragged from the sky at incredible speed, their bodies plummeting toward the ground like stones.

The sight was almost comical.

It was reminiscent of the grotesque way Pain's body had once been dragged and distorted by overwhelming gravitational force.

Kaguya remained suspended in the air, watching them descend.

Her expression was calm.

But then, from somewhere deep within the Ninja World, a voice reached the ears of every Otsutsuki.

The voice was pleasant.

Gentle.

Almost sweet.

Yet the contempt contained within it was unmistakable.

"Give it to me!!!"
