Momoshiki and Kaguya were powerful in completely different ways.
Kaguya was a true monster in terms of raw stats. Her chakra reserves, regeneration, durability, and hax abilities placed her at the absolute pinnacle. Combined with techniques such as Amenominaka, the All-Killing Ash Bones, and the Expansive Truth-Seeking Ball, she was nearly invincible.
Her greatest weakness, however, was her lack of combat experience and tactical judgment. Had she fought with greater ruthlessness and fully exploited her overwhelming arsenal, sealing her during the Fourth Shinobi World War would have been far more difficult.
Momoshiki, on the other hand, was a completely different type of opponent.
When Six Paths Naruto's Super Tailed Beast Rasenshuriken struck Kaguya, the different Tailed Beast chakra natures within her resonated violently, damaging her from the inside. That strategy worked specifically because Kaguya had become the Ten-Tails itself.
Against Momoshiki, however, such a tactic was meaningless.
Momoshiki's palm Rinnegan could absorb virtually any chakra-based ninjutsu. After storing the absorbed chakra, he could amplify it several times over before releasing it back at his opponent with even greater destructive force.
That meant fighting him with ninjutsu was practically suicidal.
The safest option was taijutsu.
And chinatsu's punch was exactly that.
Because he had expected ninjutsu instead of close-quarters combat, Momoshiki was caught completely off guard. The punch slammed into his face with overwhelming force, sending him crashing through several buildings before burying him beneath the rubble.
Momoshiki slowly climbed out of the wreckage.
The calm, superior expression he had worn since arriving in the ninja world was gone. A burning pain spread across one side of his face.
For a member of the Ōtsutsuki Clan, being reduced to such a state by a human was an unforgivable humiliation.
"You brat... don't get carried away! I was simply careless!"
With an angry shout, Momoshiki strode toward chinatsu.
He raised his right hand. The crimson Rinnegan embedded in his palm spun as a spatial ripple formed before it. From within the distortion, a black chakra staff materialized, which he caught effortlessly.
"Allow me to show you the true power of an Ōtsutsuki."
The instant his words fell, Momoshiki disappeared.
His body shot forward like a hurricane, the black staff slicing through the air as he unleashed a relentless series of strikes.
Ordinary Kage-level shinobi would have been unable to follow his movements.
But chinatsu was no longer the same.
After opening the Seventh Gate, Momoshiki's speed no longer seemed untouchable.
The black staff swept through the air in a relentless barrage, each strike aimed with deadly precision. chinatsu continuously retreated while parrying every attack, barely avoiding the crushing force behind each blow.
His staff technique...
It's surprisingly refined.
Unlike herself, Momoshiki clearly possessed formal close-combat training.
Chinatsu's taijutsu relied almost entirely on three overwhelming advantages:
Speed.
Reaction speed.
Raw physical strength.
She had never studied a sophisticated martial art. There simply hadn't been enough time. Mastering the Eight Gates had taken priority over learning advanced techniques like Morning Peacock, Daytime Tiger, or Evening Elephant.
Against weaker opponents, overwhelming physical ability was enough.
But against an opponent of comparable strength...
Technique determined victory.
chinatsu continued blocking and retreating while her thoughts raced.
There has to be something...
Something I can use...
Then inspiration struck.
That's it!
Her eyes flashed.
After deliberately taking one glancing blow from the black staff, she planted her feet firmly on the ground, lowered her center of gravity, and concentrated all of her explosive power into a single point.
With a sharp burst of force from her waist and legs, she slammed her shoulder directly into Momoshiki's chest.
Iron Mountain Strike!
The impact exploded like a cannon blast.
Momoshiki's eyes widened.
He had never seen such a simple, brutal, yet devastating technique.
His body staggered backward several steps. One hand tightened around the black staff while the other instinctively clutched his chest, where the strike had landed.
"You... you... you..."
His face twitched with disbelief.
"You have absolutely no martial ethics!"
"Pah! You're talking about martial ethics with me? Did martial ethics ever cross your mind when you broke into my house?!" chinatsu shot back as she launched another attack.
However, Momoshiki wasn't alone.
Seeing his master forced onto the defensive, Kinshiki immediately created dozens of crimson chakra weapons and hurled them toward chinatsu, forcing her to abandon her pursuit and defend herself.
"Tch..."
chinatsu clicked her tongue in annoyance.
If this had been a one-on-one fight, she would have had the advantage. But against two Ōtsutsuki working together, the pressure increased dramatically.
Her mind raced, searching for a better strategy before she was forced to open the Eighth Gate and gamble everything.
Just then—
"chinatsu-nee!"
A familiar voice came from behind her.
chinatsu froze for a split second before turning around.
Naruto and Sasuke stood several dozen meters behind her.
"What are you two still doing here?! Get out of here! It's dangerous!" chinatsu shouted.
How much time has passed?
Why are they still here?
Shouldn't the Akatsuki have already evacuated them from this area?
Although Naruto and Sasuke were already much stronger than they had been at this point in the original timeline, strong enough to defeat almost any Akatsuki member in a one-on-one battle...
These opponents were different.
They were Ōtsutsuki.
Even now, Momoshiki and Kinshiki weren't fighting with everything they had. If Naruto and Sasuke were dragged into this battle prematurely, the consequences could be disastrous.
"It's okay, Chinatsu-neechan!" Naruto declared confidently, giving himself a thumbs-up. "The Naruto and Sasuke standing before you aren't the same Naruto and Sasuke as before. We've gotten a lot stronger!"
chinatsu still looked unconvinced.
Meanwhile, Momoshiki's gaze shifted past her and immediately locked onto one of his objectives.
"The Nine-Tails' jinchūriki..."
"Naruto Uzumaki."
"Kinshiki."
"I understand, Lord Momoshiki."
Without another word, Kinshiki gripped his massive crimson axe and burst forward at astonishing speed.
chinatsu instinctively moved to intercept him, but Momoshiki instantly blocked her path.
"You'll stay here."
A smile spread across his face.
"In a few moments, you'll accept your fate."
chinatsu frowned.
It wasn't as though she couldn't get past him.
Long before today, she had secretly marked Naruto and Sasuke with the Flying Thunder God Technique. At any moment, she could teleport directly to either of them.
Naruto knew that.
Sasuke knew that as well.
Just as chinatsu was about to activate the Flying Thunder God Technique—
"chinatsu-neechan!"
Naruto shouted again.
"It's really okay! Trust us!"
Naruto might act carefree most of the time, but when it truly mattered, he never joked about something this serious.
Trust them...
Or not?
chinatsu only hesitated for an instant before making her decision.
She chose to trust them.
Because she wasn't just their teammate.
She was their older sister.
Naruto and Sasuke turned toward the rapidly approaching Kinshiki, their expressions becoming completely serious.
With a roar, Kinshiki raised his gigantic axe and brought it crashing down.
BOOM!!
The earth split apart as the Uchiha compound collapsed completely into ruins beneath the devastating strike.
Kinshiki narrowed his eyes.
He knew immediately...
He had missed.
They dodged it?
Before the dust could settle, two figures shot out of the smoke like lightning.
Compared to Kinshiki's enormous frame, they looked insignificant.
Yet both moved with astonishing speed.
By the time Kinshiki realized what had happened, the soles of their feet had already crashed into the side of his head.
BOOM!!
