After Is agreed to Roger's proposal, Roger immediately set off with Rayleigh and the others to find Bundy World.
"Hey, you guys!" Golden Lion stared blankly at Roger's departing figure.
How had he become the only one left on the battlefield? How was he supposed to keep fighting now?
"Alright, Shiki. Let's continue." A slight smile appeared on Is's lips.
The Sharingan possessed extraordinary powers of perception and the ability to copy.
During the battle just now, Is had focused primarily on Roger. By this point, he had already copied and seen through most of Roger's swordsmanship techniques.
As for Golden Lion's swordsmanship, he had not yet fully mastered it. There was no way he could let Shiki leave now.
"Vic, let me go, and I'll owe you a favor as well." After a moment of serious consideration, Golden Lion spoke solemnly.
Though he was a pirate, he was also a man who valued his word.
"That won't do, Shiki. You're still useful to me. I can't let you leave yet." Is shook his head calmly.
The Five Elders had sent him to the North Blue to eliminate pirates. While he certainly had the ability to kill them all, after thinking it over carefully...
If he wiped them all out, wouldn't the sea become boring?
Golden Lion and Roger were both interesting people.
As long as they remained on these seas, they would bring plenty of excitement to the world.
Those two, Is could spare.
As for the other pirates, however, he had no intention of showing mercy.
"Damn you, Is! Roger gives you a favor and you let him leave. Why doesn't the same apply to me?" Golden Lion cursed under his breath.
"I already told you. You're still useful to me."
Is tossed aside one of the swords in his hand and gripped a single blade with both hands, smiling.
"Dammit!" Golden Lion's expression twisted viciously.
"Divine Departure!"
Gripping the sword tightly with both hands, Is swung it horizontally.
The blade scraped through space itself, producing a faint explosive hum.
An instant later, a terrifying sword wave tore through the air at high speed and surged toward Golden Lion.
Divine Departure was the essence of Roger's swordsmanship and his most destructive technique.
Using the Sharingan's perceptive abilities, Is had copied and completely understood the move, taking Roger's ultimate technique for himself.
He possessed more than enough stamina to unleash such an attack.
In fact, the power of his slash was even greater than Roger's own.
"How do you know that technique?!"
Golden Lion froze upon seeing the incoming sword wave.
Wasn't that Roger's move?
How could Is possibly use it?
Though shocked, he still poured every ounce of strength into defending against the attack.
On the other side of the giant island.
Uchiha Madara was locked in battle with Bundy World.
However, Madara had been overwhelming World from start to finish. By now, Bundy World's body was covered in wounds.
Yet he stubbornly refused to fall.
Because once he did, if he somehow survived, he would spend the rest of his life rotting in prison.
He desperately wished someone would come help him.
"Roger!"
Suddenly, Bundy World spotted Roger's group and shouted excitedly.
No matter what, Roger was still a pirate.
Uchiha Madara was Is's subordinate, and Is was a Celestial Dragon.
That made Madara a common enemy of pirates everywhere.
Roger's arrival gave him hope.
With Roger's help, he could definitely defeat Uchiha Madara.
"Hm? Roger?"
Madara halted his assault on Bundy World and calmly shifted his gaze toward Roger in the distance.
Bundy World's strength was simply too weak to interest him.
Roger's crew had arrived at the perfect time.
With so many powerful fighters gathered here, he could finally fight seriously.
"It's been a long time, Uchiha Madara."
Rayleigh greeted him with a smile.
The two sides had clashed before, so they were familiar with each other.
"Come at me together."
Assuming they had come to fight, Madara rested his scythe on his shoulder. His cold gaze swept across every powerhouse in the Roger Pirates before he spoke indifferently.
"Roger, your timing couldn't be better! Join forces with me and let's kill him together!" Bundy World shouted excitedly.
Roger shot Bundy World a cold glance before turning back to Madara with a smile.
"We didn't come here to fight you, Uchiha Madara."
"Not here to fight me? What do you mean?"
"Hey, Roger, what are you doing? He's Is's subordinate! Join me and kill him! I'll give you the blueprints for the Pluton battleship!" Bundy World shouted urgently, sensing that Roger's attitude was completely wrong.
"Shut up, Bundy World," Rayleigh barked coldly.
"I've already spoken with Is. We didn't come for the Pluton blueprints. We only came to kill Bundy World," Roger explained to Madara.
If he didn't explain himself, Madara would almost certainly attack them.
"I see."
Madara nodded.
"Of course. If you don't believe me, you can verify it with Is yourself," Roger said seriously.
"No need."
Madara replied calmly.
He didn't believe these people would lie to him.
