After walking for about ten minutes—
Is finally spotted a patch of ground on a small hillside, glowing with a faint blue light.
Without hesitation, the two of them quickened their pace and soon arrived at the location.
Just like before, after confirming there was no one around, a shovel appeared in Is's hand out of thin air.
He didn't hesitate in the slightest—raising it and bringing it down in one swift motion.
Bang!
With a crisp sound, the glowing blue patch of ground instantly disintegrated—like fluffy cotton candy melting upon contact with water.
The next moment, a mechanical voice rang in Is's ears.
[Notice: Obtained Character Card ×1]
[Notice: Obtained Advanced Physical Training (10,000 sit-ups + 10,000 push-ups required to activate)]
[Notice: Gained 15 EXP]
[Notice: Gained 15 EXP]
As the notifications faded, a virtual panel appeared before him.
Host: Aurelius D. Virel Is
Excavation Level: 1 (70/200)
Excavation Attempts: 0 (1/7) — increases with level
Characters: Uchiha Madara (30%), Tatsumaki (20%)
Abilities: Paper-Paper Fruit (Burn Attribute) (1060/2000), Conqueror's Haki ( /1000), Armament Haki (579/1000), Observation Haki (766/1000)
Excavation Location: [Unavailable – insufficient attempts]
Inventory: Advanced Physical Training (Inactive)
Requirements: Sit-ups 0/10000, Push-ups 0/10000
This excavation was slightly different from the previous two.
The experience gained was ten points higher, and the reward required specific conditions to activate.
But Is didn't mind at all.
After all, even without the reward, he would still train—this just gave him a structured way to do it.
Besides, abilities gained instantly like before… felt a bit too unreal.
From the side, Madara glanced at the pit in the ground, then at Is, who had fallen into thought.
"Done?"
Is snapped out of it and nodded.
"Yeah."
"Then let's go."
"…Wait."
Is stopped him.
He had no intention of leaving just yet.
Compared to Mary Geoise, this place was far more suitable—
—to use the Character Card.
Madara didn't object. He simply sat cross-legged on a nearby rock, resting his chin on one hand as he watched.
"Use Character Card."
"Ding. Confirm usage?"
"Confirm."
Without hesitation, Is gave his answer.
"Ding. Character Card consumed successfully."
"Ding. Congratulations. You have obtained: Acnologia from Fairy Tail."
"…Acnologia?"
A glint flashed through Is's eyes.
Acnologia—the Dragon King, the Black Wing of the Apocalypse, the origin of all evil.
Once a Dragon Slayer over four hundred years ago, he eventually became the first human mage to fully transform into a dragon.
A being of terrifying power.
As someone who had once been a fan of anime, Is was very familiar with that name.
"…Too bad."
He let out a faint sigh.
"If I had gotten this earlier—if we had run into the Roger Pirates on the return journey instead…"
"…Roger might not have left so easily."
As those words fell—
A cluster of white particles suddenly appeared before him, gathering together into a humanoid form.
In the next instant—
A man materialized.
Not particularly tall, with dark skin, a black cloak draped over his shoulders, his upper body bare, feet uncovered. A necklace hung around his neck, and long hair cascaded down to his waist.
His eyes—
Sharp. Ferocious.
At first, he stood frozen—just like Tatsumaki had when she first arrived.
His pupils were dull, as if he were lagging, processing something unseen.
A few seconds later, his body jerked slightly—
—and then he came back to life.
A grin spread across his face.
"Hahahaha! I never imagined—"
"—that a world without magic, without mages, without dragons… could be this interesting!"
Is and Madara simply watched him in silence.
"…This guy's reaction is a bit over the top, isn't it?" Madara muttered quietly.
But the moment those words fell—
Acnologia turned his gaze toward Is.
"Is… wouldn't you agree?"
"Even without magic, this world can still be fascinating."
In his original world, Acnologia despised both humans and dragons—refusing even to communicate with them.
But here—
He regarded Is as his own kind.
And the others summoned by Is—
—as the same.
Is didn't answer his question directly.
Instead, he spoke calmly:
"Acnologia… welcome to this world."
Since the system only transmitted Is's information to summoned characters—and not information about previously summoned ones—
After a brief exchange, Is explained Madara's background to him.
"Hahaha… I knew it."
"I could sense something similar from him."
Acnologia smiled faintly.
