Chapter 206 - Chapter 206 Honey

"Aunt Mint, aren't you worried that he'll get stung by bees?" Adelaide asked with some concern, looking at the smiling Mint.

"Oh, Miss Adelaide, Oak Barrel was just checking things out; he doesn't have the ability to collect honey," Oak quickly explained for his wife.

"Mother, I'm back." Oak had barely finished speaking when the sound of oak barrels rang out outside the house.

I was just talking about him, and he came back.

"Oh? Adelaide, you're here too! That's wonderful." Oak Barrel was overjoyed to see Adelaide as soon as she came in.

"Yes, Oak Barrel, have you found any honey?" Adelaide's face was full of smiles as she saw Oak Barrel's adorable appearance.

"Found it, but the honey was taken by someone else." Oak Barrel's hands, hanging limply at his sides, showed his regret.

"Hmm, there are no oak barrels here. By the way, when you went to collect honey, didn't the bees chase you?" Adelaide wanted to tease him.

"No, Sister Adelaide, the bees didn't chase me." Oak Barrel, who had just been feeling a little disappointed, immediately became very excited, and then he gestured wildly as he spoke.

"Hey, the bees aren't chasing you. Why? Did you hide?" Adelaide continued to tease him.

"No, Sister Adelaide, I didn't hide." Oak Barrel became more and more excited as she spoke.

"Then why don't the bees chase you?" Adelaide asked, looking at the lovely oak barrel.

"Because they went after Elm Knot," Oak Barrel gave an answer that surprised Adelaide.

"Hehehe!" Carly was already laughing.

"Did you catch up?" Adelaide asked mechanically.

"We caught up," Oak Barrel replied.

"Doesn't Elm-Bumper know how to run?" Adelaide continued mechanically.

"He knows how to run, but you know, Adelaide, he has some problems with his legs, so he can't run fast."

Adelaide knew, of course, that he had a problem with his leg and had just gone to see a doctor a few days earlier.

Adelaide is speechless. Someone with a leg problem dares to go and watch the honey harvesting festivities. He doesn't have a leg problem, he has a brain problem…

Where is he now?

"At Uncle Fir Tree's house, Sister Adelaide."

"Come on, Carly, let's go take a look." Carly followed with a smile.

Shanshu Family Home in Xiataoyuan Village

Elm-like lump lay silently on the bed, while Sophia was tidying up herbs beside her. Adelaide was somewhat surprised that she had arrived so quickly.

Arrived at the bedside

"Hehehe!" Adelaide had come running over in a fit of anger, but no matter how angry she was, she couldn't help herself when she saw the swollen eye and the mouth that looked like it had two loaves of bread hanging from it.

"Sophia, is everything alright?" Adelaide tried hard not to look at Elm-like Guy.

"It's alright, just apply some herbal medicine, and it'll be fine in a few days." Sophia was confident about this.

"Hoo, A... De... La... De... Sister..., do I... look... funny...?" The blockhead on the bed asked the soul-searching question.

Adelaide looked at the bed again. "It's not very funny, just a little bit funny."

"Hmm, phew... then... I... am... relieved..."

"Hehehe!" Carly couldn't help but burst out.

Adelaide suppressed a laugh. "Well, you can rest assured, Elm Bucket, but can you tell me why the bees only bite you and not Oak Bucket?"

"Oak barrel…he…smeared…his…hands…on…my…body…while…he…ate…biscuits…"

At this moment, the oak barrel in the corner spoke up, "You...it's because your legs are bad that I have to support you."

"Alright, alright," Adelaide quickly told everyone to stop talking, otherwise they would burst out laughing.

She looked again at the elm wood lump on the bed.

"I brought you another box of very beautiful cookies this time, but we'll have to wait until Elm Glumb gets better before we eat them together, okay?"
