"Wow! What is this? It's so delicious!" The three children looked at Sofia in disbelief after eating her cookies, their eyes filled with longing.
It was the first time they had ever tasted something so delicious, and they couldn't quite describe the flavor.
Sofia took another piece from each person; there were only a few left in the paper bag. She looked at Adelaide.
Adelaide faced the wall, not even looking at her. Sofia was furious and slowly closed the box.
Iris was relieved to see that the child was alright, but she didn't realize that what Sophia took out of the medicine box later was food, not medicine.
Otherwise, she would definitely have stopped her. She just thought that there was no problem with taking the medicine, since it was all for treating illness.
"The three of you should thank Healer Sophia."
"Thank you, Physician Sophia. Your medicine tastes so good. Do you have any more?" the three said in unison.

Sofia ignored Adelaide and went back to the children. She said loudly, "You all know that Adelaide sister, right? She said she has many more of these medicines. If you want some, you can ask her."
Adelaide turned back to Sofia and looked at her without saying a word.
"Sister Adelaide, did I help you milk the cows last time you wanted to?" (Add one point for the wooden-headed girl.)
"Sister Adelaide, did you buy eggs for me once because you didn't want to run around?" Cedar Branch also adds one point.
"Sister Adelaide, if you can't find the branch, did I climb the tree and break it for you?" Oak Barrel also gets an extra point.
"Sister Adelaide, last time you…" Elm-Block was about to continue when Adelaide quickly interrupted him.
"Do you still want to eat? You said there wasn't a single piece left." If Adelaide didn't stop them, they would expose everything about her.
Carly stared at Adelaide in disbelief, feeling she was utterly unworthy of the title "smart." Adelaide, on the other hand, truly deserved it.
Iris, standing nearby, couldn't stand it any longer. "Miss Adelaide, the children are ignorant. If the medicine is difficult to make, then don't bother."

Adelaide is counting on these little guys to help her out in the future.

"Huh? That lady looks familiar! Oak Barrel, go check her out for me." Elm Grubber spotted Carly in the corner, but couldn't go to her himself due to inconvenience.
The oak barrel circled around Carly, but because Carly had changed a lot in the past six months, and they had only met briefly before, and then the whole winter had passed, he did not recognize her.
