Chapter 181 - Chapter 181 Cookies

After much anticipation, she finally appeared, still half-concealing her face like a pipa player. It wasn't that Ed was deliberately hiding her; he was afraid Carly would get burned, as she was about to squeeze into the oven.

On the long table, the biscuits in the bowl were neatly arranged in clumps. Ed didn't know why he used the word "clumps" to describe them; perhaps his Chinese teacher used to be a math teacher.

"Lord Edd, why does this cookie smell a bit strange?" Carly felt something was off, but she couldn't quite put her finger on what was wrong. She sniffed, and ah! But it smelled so good, so delicious.

Ed looked at Carly's blissful expression with a hint of pride; it seemed his cookies had been a great success.

"Carly, there's nothing strange about this, it's your eyes that are a little strange."

Carly didn't answer Ed's question, which seemed to indicate that she agreed with him.

But did she really agree with Ed? No, she was just still observing carefully, haha! She suddenly thought of the snowman she built in winter.

Carly's body began to tremble uncontrollably. No wonder she wasn't allowed to see it when it was first taken out, and they even said her eyes were strange.

"Hahaha," Carly burst into uncontrollable laughter.

Ed was a little saddened by her laughter. The cookies looked perfectly normal before baking, but after baking, perhaps due to the expansion, they looked like a pile of poop, and he couldn't help but laugh himself.

Wine doesn't intoxicate, people intoxicate themselves; pretty cookies make everyone smile.

"Hahaha," the three of them laughed, their laughter echoing in the castle hall.

Finally, Ed stopped laughing first, because he suddenly remembered a saying, "Foolish youths have a lot of fun." He was not that kind of youth.

He is a cultured, idealistic, and ambitious young man.

He glanced at Carly and Adelaide, who were still squatting on the ground. Haha, those two are the real idiots.

Adelaide and Carly were still clueless; they didn't know that Ed had already labeled them.

Carly got up from the ground, looking exhausted. Adelaide was no less interesting; she originally had an interesting personality, though it had become less pronounced with age.

But just because it's not obvious doesn't mean it's not there. Just like some people, they may not be obviously handsome, but that doesn't mean they aren't handsome.

For example...

Ed

Yes, Ed did a cool flip, turning all the poop cookies in the bowl over.

Why do we have to do this?

Out of sight, out of mind.

So as not to spoil my mood for eating later.

Ha ha!

"Wow~" Carly was amazed by Ed's nimbleness in flipping the cart.

As expected, there's no shortage of female fans everywhere. Ed easily gained a new fan with just a casual display of his skills.

Ed composed himself, pinched his stiff cheek, and picked up a poop cookie.

It has a wonderful aroma, is crispy and sweet, and has a long-lasting aftertaste. It seems pretty good.

As a snack, Ed thinks it's already a great success.

"So, Adelaide, Carly, what do you think of these cookies?"

Ed didn't need to ask, because their actions had already given him the answer. There were hardly any cookies left in the bowl.

"Lord Eddard, I think this is excellent. Please complete the rest!"

"Carly, this doesn't keep well. It won't taste as good if it's left out for too long."

"Lord Ed, will these cookies last a long time? That would be wonderful, I'll finish making them all." Then she'd have something to eat every day, anytime she wanted, just thinking about it made her happy.

So Ed became a cookie maker.

The main problem right now is that sugar is hard to come by; anything sweet is a luxury.

Ed is also planning to come up with more creative food dishes, and he is slowly working on them.

Hopefully, there will be more delicious food in Grey Castle in the future.
