"Roar!!!" Among the five Duel Dragons, the hot-tempered Red-Eyes Black Dragon saw Bašmu blocking its path and immediately dove toward it.
Absolute Power Pressure!!!
Red-Eyes Black Dragon's right claw ignited with terrifying flames as it attacked Bašmu.
"Roar!!"
Bašmu also let out a roar, opening its massive maw to spit a terrifying purple poison.
Sizzle!!!
The flames and poison collided, making a sound like boiling water. The terrifying poison was evaporated by the even more fearsome flames, and even the toxins vanished under the high temperature.
"What! Bašmu's venom was neutralized so easily?!" Semiramis exclaimed in shock.
Red-Eyes Black Dragon landed in front of Bašmu, its claws and feet burning with incredibly hot dragon fire as it began to pummel Bašmu with punches and kicks.
A burning right fist struck Bašmu squarely on the side of its face, and the massive creature toppled over under the force of the blow.
"Roar!!" Red-Eyes Black Dragon bellowed, attacking Bašmu with its flaming hands and feet. The combination of its physical strikes and the accompanying flames caused Bašmu's body to keep tilting to the side.
Bašmu tried to swing its sharp claws to counterattack, but they were immediately crushed by Red-Eyes Black Dragon's burning talons.
Bašmu's massive serpentine body was covered in burns and deep wounds from the blunt force, leaving it with barely a breath left. The flames on Red-Eyes Black Dragon's limbs dissipated as it stood before Bašmu and roared:
"Roar!!!"
"Damn it! I didn't expect this unknown Dragon Kind to beat a Divine Beast like Bašmu so thoroughly." Seeing her summon at a disadvantage, Semiramis spoke with a sense of foreboding.
In contrast to Semiramis's grim mood, Mordred was delighted. Standing on Red-Eyes Black Dragon's shoulder, she patted its body with a mischievous, childlike grin and said:
"You're seriously strong, aren't you?! Go!! Finish off that giant snake in one go!!"
"Roar!!" Red-Eyes Black Dragon roared in response. Then, its body flashed with a red light. When the glow faded, although its appearance remained the same, it was now clad in a suit of red armor, with a chestplate that resembled a snarling demon.
[Assault Mode] (Level: 10 / Attribute: Dark / Type: Dragon / ATK: 3500 / DEF: 2500)
"What!! It gained a suit of armor! Even its aura and magical energy have risen to a new level." Semiramis said, staggering back several steps in shock at the even more powerful Assault Mode. Its terrifying magical energy was like an inextinguishable flame of fighting spirit.
"Roar!!!" Assault Mode let out an excited roar before diving toward the flickering, candle-like life force of Bašmu.
As Semiramis saw the terrifying red silhouette of Assault Mode drawing closer, her seductive and beautiful face gradually turned a deathly pale.
In the face of crisis, a desperate plan flashed through Semiramis's mind.
She pushed her Noble Phantasm [Sikera Usum] and her skill [Double Summon] to their limits, summoning the Hydra of greek mythology and the Basilisk of European mythology.
Then, Semiramis used the power of the greater grail to fuse the two venomous mythological monsters into Bašmu's body.
Just as Assault Mode's red claws were about to strike Bašmu, a new head suddenly sprouted from Bašmu's neck and bit down on it.
"What's going on?!"
"How did that giant snake grow another head?!"
"Could it be! This is...!!"
From the shoulders of Assault Mode, Mordred and Kairi Shishigami spoke one after the other in shock at Bašmu's new head. They were also caught and unable to move.
"Groan..."
While the partners Mordred and Kairi Shishigami were talking, Bašmu used its front claws to prop itself up, its wounds healing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Not only that, but several lumps of flesh bulged on Bašmu's neck, pulsing continuously.
"Roar!!!"
Then, those lumps burst open, and seven more heads emerged from Bašmu's neck. Including the one that had attacked Assault Mode, there were now nine in total.
It seemed that after fusing with the Hydra, Bašmu had acquired its traits. Its nine long necks writhed as if dancing, all while roaring:
"Roar!!!"
Furthermore, the six eyes on Bašmu's nine heads emitted an eerie glow. This was the light of Mystic Eyes, a trait from the fused Basilisk—the Mystic Eyes of Petrification, one of the highest-ranked Mystic Eyes.
"Hades, what is this?!" Charon, atop Blackwing Dragon, turned to Hades on Stardust Dragon and asked in shock.
Hades crossed his arms and looked at the nine-headed Bašmu, saying:
"It seems that woman is the holder of the [Double Summon] skill. She summoned our Greek Hydra and the European Basilisk, then used the power of the greater grail to fuse them into Bašmu, creating a brand-new Chimera."
"The toxins of the Hydra and Bašmu have fused, becoming an even more terrifying poison. Plus, it now has the Mystic Eyes of Petrification. You all need to be careful."
Hades communicated his intent to Stardust Dragon through thought, and Stardust Dragon immediately sped forward.
"Descend beyond the limits, Stardust Dragon," Hades said softly, as various parts of Stardust Dragon's body emitted a blue light.
Cyan armor adorned Stardust Dragon's chest, feet, wrists, and wings, embedded with blue orbs.
[Stardust Dragon] (Level: 10 / Attribute: Wind / Type: Dragon / ATK: 3000 / DEF: 2500)
"Roar!!!" Stardust Dragon attacked with blinding speed, so fast that Bašmu didn't even have time to use its Mystic Eyes of Petrification.
It stomped hard on the head that was biting Assault Mode. "Roar!!!" That head of Bašmu let out a pained cry and quickly released Assault Mode from its mouth.
At this moment, Assault Mode, along with Mordred and Kairi Shishigami on its shoulder, were stained with a bit of poisonous purple. With a wave of his hand, Hades used his Cosmos to purge the poison from the three of them.
