Just as Hades finished off Perseus, a new deity descended elsewhere on Sardinia.
She had long golden hair like ripe wheat, an exquisite face, and a perfect figure surpassing all women in the world. She wore golden bracers, pauldrons, a breastplate, and greaves, with purple torso armor. She held a long-handled scythe sculpted with golden ears of grain and wore a starry cape of gold and purple, exuding a queenly aura.
"Hades, where are you, my beloved~~!" the goddess said, looking up at the sky, tears shimmering in her beautiful blue eyes.
Sensing Hades's (Hades') presence, she flew toward him. All the fields she passed over experienced an early harvest, significantly increasing the crop yield across the entire island.
Her name was Persephone, the Goddess of Seeds in greek mythology, also symbolizing the harvest. She was the wife of Hades, King of the Underworld, in myth—the Queen of the Underworld.
"Alright, time to head back." Hades, having finished the battle, had obtained all of Perseus's authorities just as he had with Verethragna and Melqart. This deepened his confusion: why could he, as a god, obtain authorities by slaying other gods just like a God Slayer?
"Hades! I finally found you!!"
Then, a voice as cheerful as a magpie's rang out behind Hades. He turned around, initially confused.
"You..."
Before Hades could finish, a flood of memories rushed into his mind—memories of the Hades of this world whom he had replaced.
In the war where the patriarchal gods led by Zeus defeated the Earth Goddesses representing women, Hades had remained neutral. Because the war caused a massive influx of souls into the Underworld, Hades, as the King of the Underworld, had to work overtime to handle the spirits.
Persephone wasn't originally the daughter of Demeter, the Goddess of Agriculture; she was born from a field of ripe wheat, a spirit symbolizing the harvest.
She was responsible for the growth and harvest of seeds buried in the fields. Demeter was enchanted by her singing and dancing during the harvest and adopted her, thus making her a goddess.
Once, during a rare visit to the surface, Hades saw his lifelong love, Persephone, picking flowers and singing by a river.
At that moment, Hades approached and spoke with her. After a conversation, they were drawn to each other, finding a kindred spirit in one another.
But after the war, Zeus, who had become the King of the Gods, began philandering everywhere. Eventually, the lecherous Zeus set his sights on Persephone singing in the harvest fields, wanting to kidnap her to Mount Olympus.
Right then, Hades burst from the ground, took Persephone in his arms, and brought her to the Underworld. Zeus, fearing his elder brother Hades' strength and his army of monsters in the Underworld, didn't force Hades to hand her over. They lived a very loving life in the Underworld.
However, Zeus still harbored a desire for revenge. He altered the myths, turning them into the versions known today: Hades fell in love with Persephone and abducted her by force, then tricked her into eating four pomegranate seeds, forcing her to return to the Underworld for four months every year.
Hades was surprised that Persephone's appearance and Cosmos aura were from the Saint Seiya world, yet her eyes revealed she was from the God Slayer world.
Then, through his Omniscient and Omnipotent Power, Hades realized that Persephone's appearance was actually due to him.
Under the influence of the Underworld, his Hades divinity had spawned a Queen of the Underworld divinity. Through the deep love for Hades (Hades) from the Persephones of both this world and the Saint Seiya world, she manifested on Earth using that divinity.
Therefore, this Persephone had the memories of the God Slayer world, but the power and underworld armor of the Saint Seiya world.
"Persephone." At first, Hades didn't know what expression to make toward this titular wife, so he could only offer his gentlest smile.
Seeing his smile and hearing his voice, Persephone could no longer hold back her tears. With a charming smile, she threw herself into Hades's arms.
"Hades, my beloved husband."
"..." Hugged, Hades first froze in place. Then, memories of his loving relationship with Persephone surfaced, and his affection for this Queen of the Underworld instantly reached its peak.
He didn't speak, simply holding Persephone tightly, while she clung to him as if afraid he would disappear the next second... Afterward, Hades brought Persephone to where Erica and the others were. Erica, Kusanagi Godou, and Lucretia looked on in shock as Persephone sweetly clung to Hades's right arm.
"Al...len, who is this lady?" Erica said to Hades with a dark, expressionless face. Though her tone was exceptionally calm, it contained a terrifying killing intent, as if she might take a cleaver to him at any moment.
This caused Kusanagi Godou to move a little further away from her. Meanwhile, Athena, who was tied to a chair eating delicacies, noticed the commotion. She turned her head and, upon seeing Persephone, her eyes widened in shock.
"Persephone?"
Hearing a familiar voice, Persephone looked at the speaker and said with some surprise, "Sister Athena."
"Persephone... that name sounds familiar, where have I heard it?" Kusanagi Godou, who was a bit unclear on greek mythology, mused while rubbing his chin.
Lucretia stood to the side with the expression of a spectator watching a drama, teasing in her heart: 'Persephone, that's the Queen of the Underworld of Hades, King of the Underworld. Now, how will the little girl from the Copper Black Cross handle this? How interesting.'
