The Twin Gods, Hypnos and Thanatos, were surrounded by the legions of the Red Dragon Emperor and the White Dragon Emperor, while above them, the four powerful dragons—Great Red, Ophis, Lilith, and Tiamat—watched them like hawks.
Faced with such a situation, average mythological factions might tremble incessantly, but these were the Twin Gods of the Underworld; to them, this situation was merely a passing grade.
Hypnos and Thanatos both wore dangerous smiles. They pressed their palms together and slowly pulled them apart. Electricity crackled between their palms, and two yu-gi-oh! cards appeared in the hands of each of the Twin Gods.
With a smile on his face, Thanatos said:
"I didn't expect the Guardian Dragons bestowed by Lord Hades to come in handy so soon."
"Let you Dragon Gods witness the power of our Underworld's Guardian Dragons." Hypnos looked at the majestic dragons depicted on the cards with eyes full of anticipation.
When Belzard and Elsa heard the Twin Gods mention the Guardian Dragons of the Underworld—knowing that the power of the boosted gear originated from these very dragons—their pupils shrank in shock. They shouted to their companions:
"Everyone! Stop them from summoning!! Every Guardian Dragon of the Underworld possesses terrifying power!! They might even have surpassed the Dragon Gods!!"
Hearing the shouts of the two strongest Red Dragon Emperors, all the Red Dragon Emperors and White Dragon Emperors immediately rushed forward to stop them.
"Hmph! It's too late. Feel its terrifying pressure." Thanatos snorted coldly. He drew one of the cards and began to chant:
"O mad dragon of black and gold, break the chains that bind you to the rift of the living world and bring destruction to my enemies! Appear! Dragon of Ruin! Gandora-X the Dragon of Demolition!"
As the chant ended, the card transformed into countless wisps of black mist that dispersed and slowly condensed into a massive figure. Red eyes flickered within the black mist.
"Roar—!!" Following a dragon's roar, a towering, purple-black giant dragon appeared, its posture majestic and ferocious.
The skeletal muscles across its body were as tempered as indestructible legendary metal. Densely packed blood-red energy cores flickered with an eerie light all over its form.
As its wings unfurled, a magnificent dragon pressure filled with tyranny and destruction instantly repelled the army of Red Dragon Emperors and White Dragon Emperors dozens of miles away.
Gandora-X the Dragon of Demolition (Level: 8 / Attribute: Dark / Race: Dragon / ATK: 0 / DEF: 0)
"This fellow is truly terrifying..." Tiamat said, cold sweat dripping from her forehead as she felt the dreadful aura of destruction emanating from Gandora-X.
"Gandora-X..." Ophis and Lilith said as they watched Gandora-X continuously blow away the Red and White Dragon Emperor legions. Although their faces remained expressionless, their tightly clenched fists were trembling.
Thanatos took out another card, held it high, and chanted the incantation:
"The source of power boiling forth from the chaotic dimension!! The origin that reigns at the apex of all things!! Provide temporary nourishment for the infinite desires that fill this world!! Olympos God Quetzalcoatl!!"
"Roar—!!" A dragon's roar filled with divine majesty rang out. The card turned into countless red light particles that flew into the sky, transforming into a massive crimson light dragon no smaller than Great Red.
It looked like a Yinglong, its entire body composed of a certain red spiritual power. Golden patterns outlined its eyes, body, tail, and wings as it circled in the air, looking down at Great Red.
Olympos God Quetzalcoatl (Level: 12 / Attribute: Dark / Race: Dragon / ATK: 0 / DEF: 0)
"Two Guardian Dragons have already appeared!!"
"We can't let Hypnos summon his Guardian Dragons as well!!"
Belzard and Elsa spoke one after the other, then immediately threw punches and charged toward Hypnos.
"Hahahaha!! A good idea, but you are too slow." Hypnos spoke with a hidden edge in his smile as he watched the two strongest Red Dragon Emperors rush toward him.
"Pure white power hidden in the source of infinite time, spread your wings that tremble in the intersecting echoes of souls, and emerge from the azure abyss! Deep-Eyes White Dragon!!"
Hypnos looked at one of the cards in his hand and chanted the incantation of liberation. During the process, part of the energy emitted transformed into a shield, isolating Belzard and Elsa outside.
Then, white energy exploded outward, blasting the two of them away.
The card vanished into white light. Countless white galaxies and nebulae appeared in the sky above Elysium, and a white dragon flew toward Hypnos.
"Roar—!!!" It possessed a holy temperament like an angel. Its body was more slender than the previous dragons. The tail spikes on its back were circular rings, each with spear-like thorns. There was also a large ring on its back with five holy white feathered wings. Its body was adorned with azure gems that matched its eyes.
Among the dragons that had appeared so far, its existence could be called the most beautiful.
Deep-Eyes White Dragon (Level: 10 / Attribute: Light / Race: Dragon / ATK: 0 / DEF: 0)
"Only one dragon left!! Hypnos, don't you dare!!" Seeing that three dragons had already appeared from the four cards, Great Red immediately spat dragon flames at Hypnos to try and stop him.
But those terrifying dragon flames were blocked by a protective shield Hypnos deployed using his Cosmos. Hypnos continued to summon the final Guardian Dragon:
"Power of the Four Heavens! Unite as one!! Descend!! Supreme Celestial King Odd-Eyes Arcray Dragon!!"
The final card transformed into four different lights that scattered into the sky, then turned into the phantoms of four different dragons: red, white, black, and purple. The four illusory dragon shadows merged together like a vortex, exploding violently like a Big Bang creating a universe.
A beautiful light descended. A figure so massive appeared that even Great Red looked like a child before it. Its primary color was gold, parts of its body armor were emerald-like crystals, and it bore red, green, purple, and blue orbs. Its blade-like giant wings unfurled; its left eye was green, and its right eye was red.
"Roar—!!!" It let out a heaven-shaking roar, causing all of Elysium to vibrate. Its massive, long golden dragon tail surrounded Elysium like golden clouds.
Supreme Celestial King Odd-Eyes Arcray Dragon (Level: 12 / Attribute: Light / Race: Dragon / ATK: 4000 / DEF: 4000)
"Wow! So big!!" Lilith said cutely, pointing at the massive figure of Odd-Eyes Arcray Dragon.
"Yeah!! It really is huge!!" Ophis also said, her eyes wide with wonder.
